Lilith looked at the smug smile on General Ning’s face and sneered. She leaned over to Quan Xinya and whispered: “If things get out of hand, take Xiaxia and run away. It most likely won’t since the both of us know using our powers in front of humans is not allowed. But just in case, be ready.”

“I will.” Quan Xinya replied. She also knew they were in no way able to fight this many orcs at the same time.

Lilith then looked at Shen Xia and said: “Follow Xinya if things get out of hand.”

Shen Xia frowned but still nodded. She knew that Lilith was watching out for her wellbeing. She could only watch on as Lilith walked to the front to face the general. She also noticed other girls being pulled out one at a time to face the other instructors. Only one guy was pulled out the entire time. “Xinya, I think they are making their move on their targets first.”

“Hmm? What makes you say that?” Quan Xinya asked. She looked around to see the girls from the other classes that were called up looking at their instructors, blushing. “Actually I think you are right…”

“Be extra careful. It seems they are laying their trap.” Shen Xia warned.  Quan Xinya nodded her head. They both watched as Lilth got into her stance.

Lilith looked at General Ning, who was just standing there, seemingly full of himself. He probably did not see her as a threat in the slightest. Lilith couldn’t help but chuckle on the inside. ‘I may be only one hundred and twenty years old, but I still have enough experience to punch your face!’ Lilith wanted nothing more than to punch this orc’s smug grin off his face. “A little footwork won’t be recognized, right?”

General Ning had not heard Lilith’s mumble as he finally said: “Come at me with everything you have. As if you are trying to kill me.”

“Mmm… I intended to.” Lilith smiled before running forward.

General Ning felt by Lilith’s speed that she was nothing more than a low level cultivator, but that was only until she suddenly appeared in front of him with her fist slamming down into his face. “Wha!?” he didn’t understand what had happened. There should have been no way he could have lost track of her! But it was too late as he received a heavy blow to his face knocking him back as he stumbled his steps. He held his face and looked up at the girl who was already in front of him again with her leg up in the air, ready to drop it down on his head.

“Stupid brat! Don’t get cocky!” General Ning was enraged. He never expected to be hit in the face so hard that it almost broke his nose!

He quickly raised his hand to catch Lilth’s leg, but just as he was about to grab it,  it suddenly switched direction, and his side was hit hard by her other leg, causing him to almost topple over once again! “Tch! Tough bastard.” Lilith wished she could use her full power. Right now, she was only sixty percent of her full strength. But she also knew this orc in front of her was also not using his full strength.

General Ning no longer messed around and quickly backed off. He looked at Lilith with discerning eyes trying to figure out what race she was from. “Who are you?”

“A high school student,” Lilith answered while tilting her head to the side, looking at General Ning like an idiot.

“You know what I mean! What race are you? You of the higher races, this much I know but which race?” General Ning’s words were loud, but they were only heard by Lilith as he used a technique to direct the sound of the words to general Ning.

But the answer General Ning was looking for never came. Lilith only looked at him with a smile and no fear in her eyes. But this little bout told her a few things about this high orc. ‘If this was a real fight, I would probably be at a great disadvantage. He was only caught off guard for the time being because he did not know my race and was not expecting me to attack so swiftly. But now he will be more wary of me…’ Lilith frowned. She wished she was not so hot headed and did not try to fight them so seriously.

“Humph fine! We will leave it at that for today. But heed my words, stay out of the way.” He then turned and looked at Shen Xia and went to reach his hand up to point at her only to hear a cold voice come from his side.

“Touch her, and we will need to fight it out for real.” Lilith was directing a full blast of killing intent at General Ning. She did not want this man touching her mistress!

General Ning turned to look at Lilith and sneered as he pointed at Shen Xia and said: “Get up here!” He still had no fear for Lilith, even with her killing intent.

“You!” Lilith went to step forward and throw caution to the wind when she heard Shen Xia yell out to her.

“Lilith!” Shen Xia knew Lilith was about to make a serious move. When Lilith turned to look at her, she motioned with her eyes to stand down. Shen Xia stopped her for two reasons. One, in order to not cause a scene and create an incident that they could not back out of, and two, because she got an idea when she saw the general stumbling his steps when Lilith moved to attack, she realized this General’s vision was not all that good. He may be strong, but his eyes were unable to keep up. This meant that she might be able to use her illusion spell to hide her fox form and get a few punches in herself.. The last part was her true intentions.
