Descendants Fate; Faye Nobody Heiress - Chapter 11
“You quickly change clothes; I like your hoodie” Raven compliments her.
Faye blushes and feels her cheek burn; she doesn’t know how quickly Raven makes her feelings change from someone he is unwanted to be with like David to someone that can quickly make her smile.
“Thank you,” she smiles cheekily.
“Want to go for a walk,” Raven asks
“With me looking like this” Faye asks curiously
Faye is wearing a cute bunny head design hoodie, and it’s color light green.
Raven laughs, “I never saw a green bunny.”
Faye giggles “me too, guess that’s why I have it, I like uncommon things” she smiles
“Oh’ that’s nice to know” Raven smile too
They didn’t notice they are walking; it’s past nine in the evening and the only store that opens in the
University facilities are the convenience store; it is open 24 hours.
They enter the convenience store, and Raven gets some bread and hotdogs for two of them, Faye receives a cup of ramen that she fills with hot water.
“If you want to get away for a day, where do you want to go?” Raven asks
“Hmmmm….” Faye seems like thinking
“The beach” Faye answer
“Why?” Raven is curious
“Okay, let me be honest. I wanted to go to the moon, but that is impossible, so I will go to the beach instead of cause in that place you can see the moon.” Faye answer
“Why? What’s with the moon?” Raven asks
“Why you keep asking me?” Faye laughs
“I like this talking to you” Raven answer honestly
“Wanted to know what’s on your mind, what are you thinking” Raven continues
“Because I find you very interesting, ever since I saw you, you’re different. You make me want to get to know you more” Raven honestly blurting everything that goes inside his head.
“Are you curious about the Faye “the Chennester’s heiress” or just me as Faye” Faye question like an officer, she even crossed her arms and looked at Raven to intimidate him.
“May I perhaps say both, I’m curious to the Faye that is “Chennester’s heiress and the Faye as in Faye as you are.” Raven is looking directly in her eyes
“You know Mr. Hamilton, some part of me saying I should not trust you because you are a Hamilton” Faye teases
“What is wrong with me being a Hamilton?” Raven is more curious
Faye’s laughs, “Oh’ the noodles is cook, let’s cook it before it gets cold” Faye didn’t answer the question and immediately put her attention in the ramen.
Raven knew very well that Faye is aware in their family whereabouts and his father and his real father internal war; the conflicts between his father now and Faye’s step-father.
Raven knew very well that he is a Hamilton and her being a Chennester is a big problem that he has a deal.
“Would you like to go to the beach then after we eat?” Raven asks
Raven gives her feelings of excitement when she is with him; she is happy for no apparent reason.
Faye is aware that he is a Hamilton, and there is an internal war within their family, but she can’t help but cross that gap between the two of them.
When they finish eating, they walk further to get Raven’s car; Faye checks the time it is quarter to eleven and her best friends Leigh and Czerene probably sleeping now.
Raven open the car door, and she gets in, her seat on the passenger side. She gets her cellphone and message both her best friends “Be back at midnight” =)
As a car racer, Raven droves fast and reach their destination in just fifteen minutes; they both enjoy speed. They both love the “adrenaline rush” it serves them.
Faye walking bȧrėfoot in the sand, feeling it’s warm while the waves of the water hit her skin, she smiles. She feels the breeze of the cold night and looks at the sky full of stars; its vastness seems to describe how she is inside. She looks into the moon, it seems near and can easily reach by your hand, and it’s in the quarter but still serve its beauty.
Faye breathes in as she felt a jacket in her shoulder, she looks around, and Raven’s handsome face greets her, the moonlight hits his face.
“Thank you” Faye whisper
“How do you feel now that you see the moon?” Raven asks
“What’s in the moon that makes you fascinated about it?” Raven curiosity never let Faye getaway
“I don’t know maybe because it’s beautiful, in the darkness it stands together with the brightest star but since the star is so far away we can’t see it that much, the moon gets all my attention in the night like this although I like the stars too. The moon serves its main attraction.” Faye answers
“That is very poetic; I guess” Raven commented
“No, it’s not, it’s weird. I’m weird.” Faye laughs
“Well, have you heard? What makes you different is what makes you beautiful. Weird is beautiful, and you are” Raven look straight in her eyes;
“You are gorgeous” Raven complimented
Faye blushes, but she can’t help but mutter “Typical player” she giggles
“Me? Player, the only game I play is car racing, and I’m no good in-game. “Raven laughs
“That is why a lot of girls crowding you in the University and you guys enjoy it.” Faye teases.
“Wait,” he paused; Faye look at him, and she admits she doesn’t want his reaction.
“What?” she asks
“Are you bothered by those girls lurking around us?” Raven teases
Faye gasp, “Oh please” she can’t help but protest.
“Why would I? Those girls can scream and be crazy for you guys for all I care” Faye denies.
“Okay, I get that. You know the University Ball Night is coming to those girls will be handy, I can
choose who to date” Raven is pushing his luck
Raven notices how Faye’s reaction changes, it toughens, and she faces him with her eyebrow knotted.
“Yeah, typical playboy; Go on and choose who to date in those girls,” she is irritated and she passes through the Raven.
“Why does it seem your mood changes?” Raven innocently asks
Faye heard the soft tone of Raven’s voice; it gives shivers in her skin. What he asks suddenly hit her, it makes her aware suddenly how she acts, and she composed her and cleared her throat.
Faye looks in the vastly open sea that illuminates the moon.
“I’m sorry, I’m just weird. I told you I’m weird, didn’t I?”
Faye fake laughs while looking directly in Raven’s eyes, catching his reaction.
“Yeah and I told you its beautiful being weird. Its okay I like that” Raven said, hoping that the woman gets his message that he keeps sending indirectly.
“You know, your change of mood scares me honestly” Raven sighs
“What of your mad?’ He asks concern
“Me? No, why would I be mad?” Faye asks, she suddenly gets confused about what they are talking about.
“You change tone and expression when I made jokes about those girls” Raven is pushing his luck.
“Jokes,” Faye asks unbelievably “Why would you joke about dating girls?” Faye is confuse
“I’m joking obviously, why would I date those girls? I have no plan in asking them,” Raven continues, trying to catch the reaction of Faye in what he says but to his dismay, Faye gives a blank response, but she seems restless.
“Okay, you can ask any girl you wanted to date anyways,” Faye blurted out.
“Yeah, maybe but I want to clear I’m not a player like you think. I don’t have any interest in those girls,” Raven explains that even if he doesn’t understand himself the reason for clarifying it.
“Oh’ I’m sorry about that. I get overboard. I didn’t mean to label you” Faye is sad as he looks at Raven who also stares at her dearly.
Faye doesn’t want where everything is heading, she cut the staring game and breathe deeply.
Once again, the vast sea occupied her attention;
“That man, he is David Grayson. I didn’t know he is in the country; it is, so he gets everything he likes by force.” Raven stated bitterly
“You know him?” Faye asks
“I know him ever since we are young, the Grayson is one of our family business ȧssociates, but his father and my father has a misunderstanding between them. I heard it’s about the misuse of funds in the overseas projects, so my father cut his father off. I heard them doing good after they back stab my father and steal the project money. I heard the building their empire.” Raven continues
“Empire” Faye mumbles “If they steal the project funds, why didn’t your father sue them?”
“Well Mr. Grayson is smart, he legalizes all the transaction making my father sign in all of it. In the investigation, they made it seems that the project finishes accordingly; it is the builder of the facilities who corrupt us. The judge suggests suing the head engineer of the building project, but my father knows better that person is also a victim and he let it pass.” Raven stated.
“Your father” It seems it is hard for Faye to believe
“My father is a businessman. He is always concern about the business expansion and for our connection should be widened. He is a player in the stock market; he is a cold-hearted man and cares less about the things that don’t involve money and business. I’m used to it how he treats my mother and me, but he never let innocent people suffers in the other people bad deeds. My father knew very well who his enemies are, he takes it from his heart, and he never stops until he doesn’t get his revenge.” Raven is unconsciously revealing all those information to her.
“Why are you saying those? I’m a Chennester, and I know my father and your father don’t have a good history. My father death is questionable to me.” concern painted Faye’s beautiful face.
“Your father death” Raven mutter
“Your family and my family are not in a good relationship; especially now it’s my step-father taking over the Chennester’s businesses.” Faye’s voice is worried.
“I know, I heard a lot of rumors about your step-father, and you link to David Grayson will not good either. They are despicable.” Raven warns her.
“Raven,” she snaps, she looks at the man not knowing what to say.
Faye’s mind is clutter now, she looks at the sand and plays it in her hand.
Raven is waiting for her to say anything, “I don’t want anything to deal with him,” Faye finally said.
“My step-father wanted me to date him at the University Ball Night. My step-father has an agreement to the Grayson that he will be my future husband.” Faye continues.
“What did you say?” Raven asks impatiently
“What can I do? I have no power to turn against the will of my step-father.” Faye said, finally looking at him eye to eye.
“Give me time,” Raven said to her firmly, he slowly brushes his hand to her hand that is playing in the sand.
“Faye I don’t want to follow what my father wants me to do, I’m trapped in the situation, but if you give me time, I can plan to get us out of this situation.” Ravens whisper to her, looking intently in her eyes.
“What you will do?” Faye asks
