Descendants Fate; Faye Nobody Heiress - Chapter 18

Faye is on lead, she felt bad about the sudden collisions a while ago but the game MC announces no one is hurt, she felt relieved.

Ralph and Raven clear the path for her that is the reason she is taking the lead.

Faye knew Raven is next to her, driving fast to catch up; she is focused on the road when she notices someone casually walking in the road like its normal, her speed is currently 200mph.

Faye’s impulse tells is to stop the car but it’s startled her that the man walks in her direction; she needs to stop her car.

Faye holds a grip in her steering wheel, she hits the break, the guy keeps walking and to her surprise, Faye sees his face.

The man’s face is visible and she knows him, Faye is startled, she knows hitting the break-in that speed will cause a collision and the man walks to her direction, accidents are impossible to avoid.

“Stop” Faye yells.

Faye startled as she sees didn’t notice Raven car pass through her, her car crashed in her car, it hit hard.

Everyone watching the screen is all stunned, gasp heard in unison as the Faye cars hit the man.

Everyone closes their eyes in the accident,

“What happens?” People in the crowd murmuring

Everyone is all shock including the host MC and media keep on reporting in the midst of the accident; it is hot item news for media people in the field.

The medical staff quickly responds, Raven immediately parks his car and get outs, Faye is unconscious inside her car.

Ralph immediately comes in rescue with his teammates; he notices a shadow fleeing away from the area.

Ralph has a bad feeling over it but he shrugs the idea and focuses on his teammate’s situation.

Raven and d Faye are both unconscious, the medical team is carefully taking them out in their cars before worst could happen.

The staff of the game, advise everyone to leave fast, the medical staff moves fast as they could. Raven and Faye were taken by the ambulance and headed to the nearest hospital.

Raven and Faye have their own respective ambulance; Ralph decides to come with Faye ambulance.

Ralph is genuinely worried over Raven too but Faye is his priority.

The MC of the event has no choice but to speak in the speaker;

“The mad man in the race charity event held a while ago by the Zenith University Council Board are finally captured. It is said in our live report earlier that the man walks without showing any fear in the racing course while Faye Chennester, the lead racer of the competition driving in a 200mph speed. The accidents would have killed the person but shockingly Raven Hamilton the second placer of the race tries to avoid such horrible death by making his own car as a shield. The two cars made a strong collision that injured and hospitalized both of the racers. The racers are now in the hospital and well-taken care.

According to our source and investigating team; the man reported is named “Manuel”, an ordinary College student. It is said he is a stalker and obsess admirers of Faye Chennester. Manuel said to come to the event to support his loved and also gets her attention in an unpleasant way causes everyone in distressed. Leigh and Czerene visibly show their knotted forehead.

“Manuel” Ken stated suddenly.

The hospital is exclusive; it is no ordinary hospital. The lobby is grand and the designs of furniture are exquisite and one of a kind.

The Italian concept in the material and furniture is evident in the hospital design. It makes the ambiance of the whole hospital classy and elegant.

Mr. Hamilton’s face is straight and doesn’t show any reaction, he seems calm and collected.

Mr. Hamilton looks at them and tilts his head as if acknowledging their presence.

Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton are talking to Raven’s personal doctor. Czerene and Leigh quickly rise up their seats when Faye’s personal doctor is out. The two best friends are startled when Mr. Grayson come in their way and personally talk to the Chennester’s family doctor.

Leigh and Czerene can’t hide their irritation, how the man suddenly shows up when all of the years as Faye’s best friend, they knew the man never cared for Faye.

“Hi, were Faye’s best friends. May we please know what her condition now?” Leigh asks

Ken accompanies the two of two ladies since Raven’s parents are still inside Raven’s room.

The doctor gives them a timid smile “Don’t worry you’re a friend is safe. She has bruises, fractures, and injuries but in time and therapy, it will heal.

“I will leave you here to take care of her since I think her parents can’t” the doctor’s voice is gloomy.

“Thank you doctor” Czerene replied politely.

“Good thing Faye is safe” Leigh exclaims.

“Ken, go and check Raven.” Czerene urges him.

“Okay, I leave you guys here for a while,” Ken said as he exits the room.

Ken sees Mr. Hamilton leaves Raven’s room, only Mrs. Hamilton left in the room.

Ken sighs as he doesn’t need to encounter the cold man.

Ken knocks in Raven’s private room. Mrs. Hamilton kindly opens the door and smiles at him.

“Ken, come here. I’ve been waiting for your visit. Where is Lexus?” Mrs. Hamilton asks as she welcomes Ken.

“Lexus” Ken clears his throat.

“Madame, Lexus is shocked in all that happens, he needs to recollect himself. Lexus is an emotional person; he said he will visit later when he calms down.” Ken replied, doing his best not to stutter.

“Oh” Lexus, he must have been affected badly,” Mrs.Chennester commented.

Ken clears his throat and tries to smile at Mrs. Chennester’s remarks.

“How is Raven Madame?” Ken ask nervously

“Oh’ the doctor said he is fine, he has some bruising but the doctor ȧssured us they will take care of him till he fully recovers.” Mrs. Chennester answers timidly.

“I’m glad. Raven made a great decision. It will be horrifying if that psycho died.” Ken commented.

“The news says it is that woman stalker, I know will help others in need but risking his life like that. He scares me.” Mrs. Chennester almost about to cry

Ken holds Mrs. Chennester’s hand “Faye’s hit the break, the car speed makes it hard to stop and accidents are unavoidable. Madame, Raven made the right decisions to save the situation. Raven is brave for doing that, you raise a good son.” Ken praises Mrs. Chennester which makes Mrs. Chennester smile.

Ken stay for a while looking for his unconscious friend when his cellphone rings, he looks at it and his forehead knotted for unknown numbers.

Ken smile at Mrs. Chennester “Madame I will be out, I need to answer my call”

“Okay,” Mrs. Chennester smiles.

Ken pushes the answer buŧŧon “Hello”,

“Ken go the place that no one will hear you”

Ken’s eyes widened, he knew very well who that voice belongs, he gasps but remains calm.

Raven goes out of the building; he stays in the hospital garden and finds a good spot where no one can hear them.

“Lexus where are you?” Ken asks trying to tone down his voice.

Ken is aware in his surrounding, he notices Lexus’s voice is hush

“Why are you speaking that way,” Ken asks curiously

“What happened to you? Do you know what happens to Raven?” Ken asks continuously

Ken hears Lexus sigh “Listen, Ken, I can’t be there it’s dangerous. They are after me.” Ken speaking fast

“After you, who is after you?” Ken asks to confuse

“It doesn’t matter; the thing is I need to tell you important matters.” Lexus continues.

“Why are you using unknown numbers, where are you?” Ken asks desperately

Lexus answers “I’m using a disposable phone; Listen, Ken, I know exactly what happens to Raven and Faye. Ken, please trust me on this part, don’t find me, make a lot of excuses to Raven when he asks about me. I need to go now.” Lexus hangs up

Ken doesn’t want to end up the conversation, he keeps on speaking “Hello, hello, hello” he knows the call is cut but Ken is hopeful.

Ken doesn’t have any idea what is happening. The only thing he knows is Raven is in the hospital while Lexus is gone out of nowhere.

Ken sighs; he wishes that everything is all bad dreams.
