Descendants Fate; Faye Nobody Heiress - Chapter 19

Three days gone by as Czerene and Leigh continue checking on Faye’s condition. Faye is still unconscious while Raven already awake in three days, he experiences bad headaches casually and still lay in bed the whole day. Raven didn’t talk to anyone either even to his mother and his best friend Ken.

Ken had his own mental breakdown since Raven is in the hospital and Lexus is nowhere to be found after Lexus call him that night.

Ken is mostly alone in their condo and it hurts him so bad to be in the middle of chaos and not knowing about anything.

Ken hates the fact that he has no idea what happens to Lexus after to that one phone call, he doesn’t know where he is.

Ken goes to Fletcher’s mansion to ask about Lexus whereabouts but only their servants face him and tell him that Mr. Fletcher is not in the mansion.

Ken knew that Mr. Fletcher purposely avoids him and he senses something is wrong. He is wary and suspicious.

Ken feels relieved when Raven wakes up even he is still sad that Faye is still unconscious,

Ken thought that when Raven wakes up everything can be a little easy but he is wrong.

Raven never talks to him and didn’t even talk to him and to her mother the whole day.

Ken sighs as he is alone in their condo, his phone rings. Ken is startled that it is Raven, he immediately picks up.

“Ken” he heard Raven talk in the other line.

“Raven, you’re speaking to me now,” Ken said annoyed.

“Come here now” Raven voice is pleasing

“right Now, why?” Ken confused.

“Don’t ask, just come” Raven’s voice again is pleading.

“Okay” Ken answers.

Ken drive in the hospital only, it is an exclusive hospital meant to serve the needs and cater all their patients asks and give them what they want.

Ken came back to the hospital pretty late but the privileged always favors them, Ken come straight to Raven’s room.

Raven is sitting all alone in the room.

“Where is your mother?” Ken asks curiously

“I force her to come home, I don’t want her to sleep here. Even the place is comfortable; still, this place is a hospital. My mother gets anxious when she is in the hospital, she can’t rest well.” Raven explains sadly.

“Okay, that’s why you ask me to come” Ken confirms

“That’s one of the reasons, my mother would not go home if I don’t call you to come here,” Raven explains

“So what’s the other reason?” Ken is getting impatient.

“We need to go to Faye room first, please take me to her, I need to see her” Raven pleaded.

“You ask me to come here to come and visit Faye?” Ken asks in unbelievable tone

“Of course not only that we have to talk about something important but I need to see Faye first, please Ken,” Raven asks again.

“Okay, you don’t need to say please but look at the time, can we please visit her tomorrow, it’s late. It’s midnight.” Ken replied.

“I know but tomorrow my father might be here and my father’s men will guard me. My father will not give me any chance to visits her.” Raven explains

“It’s because you’re father still harboring his sentiments over Faye’s biological father?” Ken asks

“Yeah he is and he will never forget. It’s hard for me, my father doesn’t want me to be near Faye at all” Raven explains.

Ken sighs, he goes and get the wheelchair, ȧssist Raven to ride on the wheelchair as he pushes the wheelchair all the way to Faye’s room.

Ken can see the contented smile of his best friend, Ken knock on the door as Leigh opens it.

Ken smiled to her, Leigh startled as she sees Raven in the wheelchair.

“Raven, I’m glad you’re awake” Leigh blurted out in surprise.

“Leigh can we come in and visit Faye” Raven asking for permission.

“Okay” Leigh let them pass.

Leigh follows them as Ken pushes Raven wheelchair in front of Faye’s bed.

Ken sees Czerene in another bed for visitors, sleeping. The bed is comfy like the bed found in a luxurious hotel and sleeping is not a problem. Czerene is sleeping safe and sound.

Leigh taps Ken and asks him to go outside with her since Raven needs time alone to have some moment with Faye.

Czerene is sleeping anyways; they can’t drag her with them.

Raven staring at Faye; he held her hands and mutters some words “I’m sorry”

Raven eyes are teary, he can’t help but feel gloomy in the situation they are stuck.

Raven wanted to say a lot of things to Faye but he can’t and he doesn’t know where to start.

“Please wake up and be well Faye, I promise. All is going to be well when you wake up. No one will harm you ever.” Raven whispering near her ear.

Raven takes a deep breath as he kept holding to Faye’s hand, he closes his eyes for a while his head lays near her.

Raven can’t explain why he is feeling like at any time he will loose anytime in the game of fate and all he is holding is the present.

Now, he holds Faye’s hand, he can breathe. Raven with the time would stop so he can lay near her beloved Faye but he knew he can’t.

Raven didn’t even know he fell asleep with Faye’s side holding her hand, still in his wheelchair but his head lay in her bed.

Ken taps Raven and wakes him up in his beautiful dreams,

“Raven, you can’t sleep here” Ken reminds him.

Raven closes and opens his eyes before he realizes where he is. Raven smile timidly, staring fondly at his and Faye clasp hand.

Raven knew he can’t be here for too long even with a heavy heart, he lets go of Faye’s hand.

“I hope you wake up sooner” Raven whisper as he touches Faye’s hair.

“Let’s go,” Raven said to Ken when he felt taking so much time staring at Faye.

Ken takes his wheelchair handle and ȧssists him, Ken bid goodbye to Leigh and look at Czerene that still sleeping soundly.

Ken gives a sign to Leigh that they will go and Leigh smile.

Ken ȧssist Raven to properly lay in his bed, Raven seems in a comfortable position.

“Now, maybe we can talk now,” Ken asks impatiently.

“I know. I’m sorry that it takes time. I can’t help it” Raven seems sorry.

“It’s okay. I understand I’m curious in what you want to tell me” Ken asks

“I see what happens,” Raven said firmly

“What happen?’ Ken need clarification

“The man that walks in the race track, the stranger man I saw him,” Raven said

“You know that Manuel?” Ken asks

“who is Manuel?” Raven asks

“The news said he is Faye’s stalker, an obsess admirer who is psycho and wanted Faye. Manuel walks in the racecourse to gets Faye’s attention.” Ken explains.

“What? The news said that.” Raven asks

“Yeah, they even stated that after some investigation and according to their source all those information is revealed.’ Ken states.

“It’s all lie” Raven blurted out.

“Why?” Ken asks

“I told you I knew the man and I never knew that Manuel,” Raven said.

“You never knew Manuel?” Ken asks.

“Yes, I never knew who is the heck is that man” Raven answer.

“If you knew the man, who is it then?” Ken asks, he doesn’t know why he is nervous.

“Lexus” Raven answers casually.

“No” Ken refuse

“Yes, he is. I saw in my very eyes” Raven insists.

“I know what I saw Ken, its Lexus. Its crazy how he walks in Faye’s way, he has no fear. Lexus seems not himself” Raven stated eagerly.

“Not himself?” Ken suddenly remembers

“Lexus calls me, it is a phone call for a rent landline, and he plays for the public phone calls. Lexus number is out of coverage, I can’t contact him.” Ken reminisces.

“What else did Lexus say?” Raven wanted to know more.

“Someone after him and no matter what happens does not find him. Lexus said he will fix everything” Ken tells Lexus words.

“He said that Lexus is never selfish. I know there is something wrong with him. There is a reason why he is acting that way” Raven stated

“What do you think Lexus has done that? It’s dangerous.” Ken states.

“No, Lexus is not his usual self,” Raven said as his forehead frowns

“He is daze and out of trance” Raven explains

“Do you think that his father is behind this?” Ken asks

“I don’t know, my head hurts whenever I remember the scenarios. I know Faye will know it is Lexus. I’m worried about him.” Raven sighs

“The thing is what Lexus did is risky, it seems he is willing to sacrifice his life for that aim and I think his father is not crazy to make Lexus done such horrid act. If you didn’t dodge Faye’s car, both Lexus and Faye are both dead now.” Ken is horrified in his own idea.

“You’re right, when I see its Lexus, I try my best to call him, and I open my car window, maximize my speed to overtake Faye and yelled his name. What I did was dangerous but there is no other way before I lose my consciousness I see Lexus snaps and awaken. Lexus looks at me and wanted to help me out, I look at him and give a sign, I shake my head. Indirectly telling him”No, he can’t.” Lexus then run and hide.” Raven said bitterly.

“What?” Ken startled.

“Believe me, Ken, Lexus is not himself” Raven pleaded.

“Even if he is, you should let him surrender himself. You should have let him be in the hands of the authorities than letting him hide and be a target of those people we don’t even know.” Ken outburst.

“Ken we didn’t even know if the authorities can be trusted,” Raven said firmly

“What are you implying?” Ken asks

“The University Board Council is all-powerful, they will use their influence to clean their name and they will eliminate all those people who are the reason for the failed plan. It’s easy for them to use a dummy and use media to cover their bad doings.” Raven said eagerly.

“Who do you think? They are?” Ken asks

“I have no idea yet but I need to protect Faye and we need to save Lexus” Raven gasp.
