Doctor Montez leaves Faye’s room. Czerene held the phone and asks a question.

“Care to explain me everything” Czerene suggest

“This is Ms. Airelle, Faye’s auntie, her mother’s sister but listen Czerene this all between us,” Leigh emphasize

“I know, you don’t have to worry. I don’t like Mr. Briggs either.” Czerene ȧssures

“How’s Faye?” Leigh asks

“She is not responding when I talk to her,” Czerene says

“Can you tell to your friend to let me talk to my niece” Ms. Airelle suggested.

Leigh look at Czerene “goes to Faye so Ms. Airelle can talk to her”

“Okay” Czerene agrees

Czerene faces her cellphone camera towards Faye’s beautiful face, she is staring far away and her eyes are blank.

“Faye” Ms. Airelle holding trying hard to get the attention of her niece

“Faye, how do you feel now? I’m glad you’re awake” Ms. Airelle continues

Faye’s face is still blank, Ms. Airelle face shows how anxious and sad she is.

“Faye, I will help you out. Your auntie is here now, I will help you.” Ms. Airelle continue to talk

“Please wake up. I need to tell you about my plans.” Ms. Airelle convinces her.

“You need to get back on your senses so we can do our plans together; I know you’re waiting for me Faye so snap out and comeback. Become stronger.” Ms. Airelle keeps talking to her.

Leigh and Czerene look at how Ms. Airelle convinces Faye and how her reaction doesn’t change a bit.

Faye blank face; they can’t help but feel disappointed.

Leigh and Czerene both got surprised as Ms. Airelle smiles

“I wait for you Faye, don’t let me wait for long”

Faye still doesn’t show any reaction; Ms. Airelle ends the call and gives back the cellphone to Leigh.

“That’s it” Leigh curiously asks

“I can see that she needs to recover, there something she needs to deal internally” Ms. Airelle answer

“I need you to do some important job for me” Ms. Airelle inform

“What it is?” Leigh is curious

“I call you later, for now, go to your class first” Ms. Airelle look at her watch

“You’re late” Ms. Airelle reminds her as she gets up and walks elegantly

“Bye, thank you for accommodating me.” Ms. Airelle smiles and walks away.

Leigh looked at her wristwatch and snaps “I’m late”

Leigh immediately gets up and runs to her class. She sighs as she needs to bow in front of everyone and says sorry for being late.

Sitting in her class, her attention is not in her professor and their lessons; there are things that come in her mind like;

“How did she know I’m late in my class, how did she know my class schedule?”

Leigh gets a grip of her pencil, her forehead knotted, she thinks of another thing

“She said she will call me? How can she do it? I never give her my number” Leigh minds still occupied as the bell rings and ends up she doesn’t learn anything.

Leigh yawns it means she still needs to study on his own to catch up.

In her mind, “Ms. Airelle is sure strange”

After her class, Czerene will have her special classes and she needs to hurry up to be in the hospital and shift schedule.

Leigh enters the hospital as she sees Mr. Arkin get out of Doctor Montez’s office, she doesn’t know but her heart beats rapidly.

Leigh knows she is becoming paranoid and it is not good on her. She can’t help but goes to Doctor Montez’s office as soon as Mr. Briggs gets out of the hospital building.

Doctor Montez may seem to understand her reasons for coming into her office,

“I told Mr. Arkin abouth Faye’s condition. It is my duty as Chennester’s family doctor to report. I also told him that we will conduct some further tests to know her body and mind state.” Doctor Montez looks at her firmly

Leigh fidgeting trying to figure out internally how to ask the Doctor about the topic he and Mr. Arkin talk about.

“I didn’t say anything” Doctor Montez says to her while looking at her clasp hand.

“I just report. You can relax now” Doctor Montez advise

Leigh smiles brightly and says “Thank you”, she opens the door and sped up to reach Faye’s room.

Leigh is surprised to see Raven in his wheelchair staring dearly at Faye while she is sleeping.

Leigh coughs to get his attention “Mr. Briggs visits goes to Doctor Montez, I’m surprised he didn’t see you here”

“He didn’t come here” Raven answer briefly

“He didn’t” Leigh shockingly repeat

“Ken calls me to let me know, he is on stand by so I can hide when he arrives but he never comes” Raven bluntly says

“Oh’ why should I be surprised?” Leigh said irritated.

“Where’s Czerene?” Leigh asks unconsciously

“She goes to her class. Ken drove for her” Raven answers.

“Oh’ I’m sorry I’m late.” Leigh apologetic

“It’s okay. I wanted to be here” Raven calmly looking at sleeping, Faye

“Is she awake when you came in?” Leigh is curious.

“No, she is asleep. Czerene calls Ken to cause you weren’t here yet. I came along when I knew she is awake and I wanted to talk to her but she asleep.” Raven explain

“You can talk to her tomorrow” Leigh suggest

Raven smiles timidly “Yeah”

“Raven where Lexus?” Leigh asks all of the sudden

Raven feels the rush of blood in his veins, his heart beats faster and he feels the clog in his throat.

Raven tries to calm himself and answer simply “I don’t know about that guy, he owes me big time for not showing his face until now.” Raven tries to sound as if he is joking.

Internally he pleads he didn’t sound off so Leigh would not be suspicious.

“What you think of the reason Lexus is not here visiting you?” Leigh looks at Raven as if interrogating him.

Raven quick-witted answers “His father makes him do some important job that he can’t leave” Raven bluntly answer

“More important than you” Leigh bitterly asks

“Yeah more important than me” Raven answers without showing any emotions

Leigh stop questioning even though she wanted to go furthermore, she can’t push Raven and she can’t be insensitive knowing that Raven is also a concern for Lexus’s absence.

Raven quietly staring at Faye when Leigh phone rings, Raven looks at Leigh

“Oh’ I need to answer this” Leigh says

It is an unknown number, Leigh is hesitant to answer the call but still, she does,

“Hello” Leigh answer

“I advise you go further away so we can talk properly.” the voice in another line is familiar with her.

“Ms. Airelle?” Leigh confirms

“Yes, I’ am” Ms. Airelle answers

Leigh goes out in the veranda garden where the view of the entire hospital can be seen, she speaks

“Why I need to go out and be far away from Faye,” Leigh asks

“I need you to do a very important job, tomorrow Faye will undergo some test, the CT scan result is very crucial. I need to monitor the test and know the result” Ms. Airelle firmly said.

“Okay, I will report to you the results” Leigh answers

“No, I want to know it in actual. I need to monitor in an actual moment.” Ms. Airelle said.

“How” Leigh asks

“Meet me at the park at midnight, I will give you something and also will you instructions” Ms. Airelle orders

“Why do you sound like an agent wanting me to spy” Leigh laughs

“Well you can think of it that’s a way but don’t you want to do something daring and adventurous” Ms. Airelle teases her.

“What do you mean?” Leigh can’t understand but her heart is pounding for Ms. Airelle not giving her any clue.

“I will tell you everything when we met” Ms. Airelle answers, there is finality in her voice, Leigh hears Ms. Airelle ends the call.

Leigh can’t help but think what the important thing Ms. Airelle is going to tell her, for a meantime, she shrugs the thought and she leaves the veranda garden.

Leigh bumps to someone when she exits the door of the veranda garden, she bumps into Ken.

“Woah’ sorry” Leigh quickly apologizes.

“Leigh” Ken is surprised but greets her.

“I’m sorry I have to leave Raven to guard Faye. Czerene is late for her special class. I need to drive for her” Ken explained.

“It’s okay. It’s my fault anyway I’m late. I’m thankful for what you guys have done for my best friends” Leigh smile at him

“I will fetch Raven; I think he needs to take his rest too. He finished in therapy before going to Faye’s room. He must be exhausted.” Ken mutter

“Okay” Leigh casually answer

Leigh doesn’t know but it slips in her mouth, “Where’s Lexus? Aren’t he is going to help you for taking care of Raven?”

Leigh is hopeful he can find a good answer from Ken. She is waiting for his reply when she notices Ken body becomes stiff.

Ken didn’t even look at her as he answers Leigh “Lexus need to deal with some important stuff. It is family matters, I and Raven can’t compete with that” Ken stated, he tries his best to look calm.

Ken manages to stop his hands from trembling and his voice from cracking.

Ken doesn’t know but suddenly his throat feels dry

“I better go and get Raven,” Ken said as he flees

Leigh feels something is odd, Raven and Ken were not in their normal self, and both of them seem like trying to hide something from her.

Leigh follows Ken as they both enter Faye’s room. They both witness that Raven is soundly sleeping by Faye’s side.

Leigh and Ken smile for the sight is so dearly; Ken moves and slowly lifts Raven’s body to lean in the wheelchair, careful not to wake him up.

“We better go” Ken whispers

Leigh nods as Ken pushes the wheelchair taken sleeping Raven back in his room.

Leigh is left alone with Faye sleeping good in her bed, she can’t help but wonder of all the things that happen in a week.

Raven and Faye are both in the hospital. She didn’t see Lexus since the day of the race competition and Leigh doesn’t have any idea what is the real thing that happens to Lexus.

Leigh feels that Raven and Ken hiding something form her. The way she weirdly met Faye’s auntie and how she wanted to talk to her in private and tell her she has something important to say.

Leigh doesn’t want to think but what happens to Raven, Faye, Lexus not showing up, and the sudden appearance of Faye’s auntie none of it is a coincidence. Everything meant to happen. Leigh needs to find the reason. Leigh feels Ms. Airelle knows much than her.
