Descendants Fate; Faye Nobody Heiress - Chapter 25

Ms. Airelle walking in the hospital hallway, her stilettos clicking as she walks. She is wearing a stylish elegant white coat tied with a belt and reveals her curve body.

Ms. Airelle smile as she knows she is about to make a grand entrance in the scenarios they plan to create.

Faye best friend Czerene and Leigh by her side is a good thing, Ms. Airelle flips her hair, and she knows she will be using her skills in acting.

Doctor Montez is handsome wearing his hospital rob waiting for her, she smiles and greets him but soon becomes serious.

“How’s my niece?” Ms. Airelle voice is shaking

“Not good” Doctor Montez shows him the CT scan results and she put her hand on her mouth and gasps

“Is it bad?” Ms. Airelle asks

“Not really. Faye has temporary amnesia, she acquires it because of the strong impact of the collision and her head bumps, and the accident also causes her amnesia and trauma.” Doctor Montez explains

Ms. Airelle pretends she is really sad upon hearing the story

“Where is my sister?” Ms. Airelle asks

“She is not here even Mr. Arkin” Doctor Montez casually says

“What?” Ms. Airelle is disappointed that she prepares for this day,

“Mr. Arkin said its okay he will agree whatever I decide. Mr. Arkin also said he can’t come and he will let one of their trusted staff. I think its Faye’s nanny in her childhood days to take care of her. I know in Faye’s situation right now, she can’t remember her nanny.” Doctor Montez stated.

“Did they know I’m here?” Ms. Airelle asks curiously,

“No, I didn’t tell Mr. Arkin and your sister wasn’t here anyway if you want them to know to show yourself to them. Visit your sister then I will sign the documents that Faye can travel with you overseas.” Doctor Montez suggest

“I don’t need their approval, I’m her auntie. I’m her relatives unlike her nanny” Ms. Airelle snorts.

“I know but at least show yourself to your sister, you came this far so why not visit her” Doctor Montez convinces her.

“She will not react anyways, my sister doesn’t care I’m here,” Ms. Airelle said sadly.

“Airelle I know you two since I became the family doctor of the Chennester’s, you care a lot to your sister so why not show yourself.” Doctor Montez advice

“I guess there is the right time for everything but right now let me take care of my niece’s situation, she badly needed me. Showing myself to my sister and talking to her won’t lead me anywhere; she is out of her trance. Believe me, you have to trust me in this matter, I know what I’m doing.” Ms. Airelle said.

“But you’re planning to show yourself now if they come” Doctor Montez forehead knotted due to curiosity.

“Yeah, you’re right but they didn’t come so there’s no need, my sister and Mr. Briggs don’t come today goes to proves that they don’t really care whatever happens to Faye.” Ms. Airelle said bitterly

“How could you think that about your own sister” Doctor Montez’s voice is a strain but low.

“You know what I’m saying you’re my sister doctor. You know very well how she becomes after my sister got birth to my niece.” Ms. Airelle’s voice is shaken.

Doctor Montez sighs “That is why you need to be there for your sister more than ever.”

“You know I did, I try many times but she pushes me away. My sister is dumb, she always chooses that man.” Ms. Airelle reminisces the past and it makes her heartache.

“Airelle” Doctor Montez tries to soothe her as he sees Ms. Airelle has teary-eyes.

“Please help me save Faye” Ms. Airelle’s voice cracks as her tears completely fall as she wipes it away.

Doctor Montez gets his spare handkerchief and lends it to her “I didn’t use that yet”

Ms. Airelle gets it and wipes her tears “What now?” she asks curiously.

“Okay, I will sign the document that needed.” Doctor Montez seriously answers.

Ms. Airelle can’t help but rejoice and smile, she widely open both of her arms and freely hugs Doctor Montez.

Doctor Montez warmly accepts the hug and says “I hope I never regret this”

“You will not, I will take care of Faye until she fully recovered, I promise,” Ms. Airelle said softy.

Leigh and Czerene know about the news that Faye will be transferred to the hospital overseas where Ms. Airelle will take care of her.

Leigh is fidgeting the fact that Mr. Arkin didn’t show up in the hospital shows that he doesn’t care.

Leigh knew that Mr. Arkin is not trying to be subtle about it but the sad part is Faye’s mother seems like Mr. Briggs robot that always agrees and nods in everything his husband told her to do.

It’s upset both Leigh and Czerene, the fact that they knew that Faye flying overseas, knowing the real reasons don’t mend their tensions.

“Calm down you two” Faye manages to soften her tone because she doesn’t want anyone to find out that she is acting that she lost her memory.

“I’m sorry I can’t, few moments, for now, you will be on a plane flying somewhere else far from us.” Czerene is emotional while she said that

“Czerene don’t talk to her like that, lower your voice” Leigh advice

“I’m sorry” Czerene about to cry when Faye’s room suddenly open revealing Ken and Raven.

“We heard about Doctor Montez decision,” Ken said sadly

Raven looking pass through them, his focus is on Faye who is now looking blankly in the wall.

Ken pushes Raven until he is on the side of the bed of Faye, near her.

Raven wanted to hold her hand but he held himself, he tries to talk but his throat seems dry.

Raven looks at Faye with pleading eyes as if he is telling her silently to please look at him but Faye didn’t even move, she blankly stares at the wall in front of her.

Raven sighs still his thoughts are messy, he doesn’t want to think of anything else but he can’t help it.

Doctor Montez and Ms. Airelle enter Faye’s room. Doctor Montez clears his throat and faces everyone,

“You probably know the news already, “Doctor Montez starts his monologue as they quietly listen.

“I don’t have a choice but to let Ms. Airelle take Faye with her overseas, as you can notice Faye doesn’t only suffer from temporary amnesia but also to trauma. A little reminder of the event triggers her anxiety and we don’t want that. It is best she can recover and heal herself by the therapy. It is also best that a relative of her take care of her this time. I know you are all students and College is hard, it’s best that you can focus on studying. It’s an exhausting schedule for both of you Leigh and Czerene. You both did great.” Doctor Montez smiles

Leigh and Czerene fȯrċɨbŀƴ smile back “We trust you Ms. Airelle but please update us about her if you can please call us every day,” Leigh asks for a favor.

“Sure, no problem” Ms. Airelle smile

Raven doesn’t know what to say, it’s real that Faye has amnesia, a trauma and part of him telling it was his fault.

Raven can’t help but look at himself who will soon walk because he almost at the end of his therapy.

Raven stared at Faye into her blank eyes; he feels his heart is burning knowing the sparks are gone.

Even if it’s hurt Raven needs to get through it and he hopes that Faye comes back healthy, he is hoping that next time they met Faye can recognize him that time.

Faye bags are all pack, ready to go. The car is ready. The documents are prepared.

Czerene and Leigh keep hugging her, never letting go.

“Please get well soon so you can come back sooner,” Czerene said

“Be a good girl there and listen to your auntie” Leigh advises.

Raven can stand in his feet but Ken is there to hold him up so he can balance himself.

“Have a safe trip, Faye, get well?” Ken said when he noticed his friend Raven stare in Faye’s face without mounting a word.

“Raven say something” Ken reminds his friend.

“Please come back well” Raven looking directly in her eyes.

Faye doesn’t respond in everyone’s words, her eyes are still blank.

“Thank you, everyone,” Faye said in a formal way,

Leigh and Czerene still hugging her by her both sides, Faye reach out and tap each of their back and smile timidly.

“Take care, you two,” she says.

Ms. Airelle let Faye ride in the car first and she follows through.

The car drives away as Raven can’t help but look at it, he feels something will change.

Raven doesn’t want what he feels, after Faye leaves the country, no days pass by that Raven doesn’t miss her.

Raven concentrate on his therapy. He can walk and the therapists advise him to exercise and walk.

He started to force himself to walk even it’s hard to straighten up his legs, he manages to endure the pain.

Raven somehow like the pain he felt physically, he felt he deserves it after Faye’s suffer because of the incident.

Raven can walk properly then he started to jog and exercise, he wanted to busy him and take off his mind thinking about Faye like it’s a habit.

Raven has no connection to Faye; Doctor Montez advised staying away from her is not helping him.

The Doctor says he might trigger Faye’s anxiety for the reason they are both parts of the accident.

Anything that can remind to Faye about the accident and may trigger her anxiety and trauma are advised to be away from her at the moment.

Raven doesn’t know how long is his ban for talking to Faye personally but one thing is certain, the situation favors his father.

The satisfying look of his father can’t ever escape is keen observation.

Raven talks to Ken that he wanted to find Lexus since he is long gone and his father claim he is in the province, on the island they owned for the reason his father wanted him to deal about business in that place which Raven never buys.

“I will find Lexus” he promised to himself

“Even if I have to go to the end of the World” He bitterly sated in front of Ken.

Ken is worried over Raven attitude after the incident; Raven becomes serious and doesn’t talk often.

Raven always goes in the mountain trails after their class, hiking, jogging or exercising.

Raven intentionally straining his body in physical activities; he never stops until he is on edge.
