Descendants Fate; Faye Nobody Heiress - Chapter 8
After the successful Evaluation Week, Raven can’t help but reminisce the moment he first saw Faye Chennester.
Raven recall as if it was just yesterday, he sighs, and his thought started to drift away;
Faye is also a freshman student at their University like him. Faye and Raven are both “rookie” in their club; his seniors always give tasks and errands for freshmen, but he is an exemption.
One day while he is helping with his club member’s task, he is sorting the member application form for Racing Club.
One of the members profile caught Raven’s attention, he read her profile “Faye Chennester,” she is also a “rookie” and a “freshmen” like him.
Raven gets excited to meet the girl behind that profile. A few days pass, he found out that the President of the Racer Club is courting Faye.
“Faye is Chennester’s future Heiress; she is a brain and beauty. It is very challenging to have her, and it’s a competition for her suitors, but I’m sure I will win.” Francis boasts to his club members as he overheard his seniors talk
Raven can’t help but to think that the odds are not in favor for him, he thought Faye would take advantage of their club president’s affection towards her. Still, he was surprised she so was smitten and did not show any interest, which leads to their club president being grumpy and put all his frustration towards “the freshmen,” specifically the newly recruit male members.
Francis comes in the field command all the freshmen to line up, he yells in each face,
Francis, their club president, bullied them and “power play” over them, which pisses Raven, offs a lot.
Raven looked at the scenarios unfazed; he witnesses this all the time how the higher rank uses their power to belittle those that are lower rank.
Raven is Hamilton, much higher rank in Francis family in the Business World; he is a Hamilton; nobody touches him or dare to yells at him or else they will face his father’s wrath.
Raven sigh he wanted to speak for the freshmen that Francis constantly bullied, but he doesn’t want to put himself in trouble in the first year of his College life.
Everyone was astonished when a beautiful woman gets down on her horse,
“Belittle those who are a lower rank than you to make yourself feel better; pathetic.” Faye Chennester looking at Francis fiercely
Raven fear that Francis may piss off and hurt her, Francis sniffs, and face her.
“Oh,’ the Heiress with no riches is here, you such a beauty to behold Faye, none in the campus can compare in your beautiful face but what people thought of you are all in their minds, you are a Princess without a crown,” Francis said bitterly.
“A man with a secure position given by his father said to me that, you know nothing. I’ am a Chennester and will remain to be. Please don’t go around believing in rumors.” Faye answer him very calmly
“Yes, rumors and I can’t believe a man like you do spend time nagging freshmen and low ranks and picking up rumors like girls that don’t have anything to do but to chit chat and chill” Faye look at him bravely.
Francis lost it; his voice gets loud “You!” his eyes widened.
Raven admits that the first time he saw Faye in his bȧrė eyes, he is also stunned by his beauty, but Raven tries his best not to make it visible; he decided to intervene.
“I think Francis, as the President of the Club you should stay calm and not to show this kind of behavior to our club members. They might change a club for that reason, and I think you don’t want to make them leave. The club records reflect in our grades and grades reflect our University performance; your parents might not want that,” Raven stated calmly, looking at the man in front of him that currently losing his cool.
Francis has no choice, Raven’s family influence is no joke, everyone knows no one messes with his family, and Francis has no choice but to back out.
Raven knew that in their University, they are a more prominent handsome man than him, especially their seniors who are manlier than him.
He felt he could not stand a chance against Faye’s admirers; that’s why he decided to keep it to himself.
Raven is looking to Faye’s direction after that commotion, but he sees her walking away, which makes him sigh.
Raven is much delighted to know that the girl is so picky and snob when it comes to her suitors, his interest towards her grew fonder each day.
And knows her family background; that is the time he knows that his family and Faye’s family are not in “good terms” when it comes to business matters.
Raven’s father is trying to block and minimize Faye’s family business power and business expansion.
Raven can’t deny the fact that his father treats Faye’s family with bitterness.
Because when Faye’s father is still alive, he rejects his father’s business proposal at that time, he most needed it, and his father takes it to his heart and begins to fell salty towards Faye’s family.
It does not favor him; that’s why he just let the time pass by as his seniors began to trust him and make him the crowned club president as he won via votes, most of the numbers come from his seniors’ votes.
On that day, he notices Faye become bitter towards him, and as the day passes by that, they are not bickering over small stuff nor have an argument over petty a thing which pisses him off too.
Raven sometimes feels that Faye is intently doing it, for he thought she is also aware of their “families” inner war; that’s why he is trying to take control in the point of restricting his feelings, but they are a moment he let himself loosen up a little.
Starting a friendship in the times of their silent war can’t do him any harm since he tries to start making things a little different since he is quiet tired in their petty fights and he try to begin some changes since their evaluation week, and so far he thinks he is doing fine, he smile through his thoughts.
Raven is aware that getting close to Faye will not please his father and will bring him trouble, but he can’t help but be attracted to her even more.
Chennester Airlines owned a private JET FC2 and 640 acres airstrip with a Runaway length of about 6,000 ft with a hanger and a comfortable cottage. They also own over 50 airplanes scattered and in full business operation in the entire airport in the country.
Faye Chennester the one and only heirs of Mr. and Mrs. Emil and Lydia Chennester.
The rumor has it saying that Mrs. Lydia is disappointed for not having a baby boy as heir after a lot of attempts at being pregnant once again, it was all failed.
Mrs. Lydia’s chances of being pregnant are meager, her body is not healthy enough to bȧrė a baby inside her wȯmb, and it soon miscarriage before it takes its form.
It leads to Mrs. Lydia’s frustration for not giving a son to his husband as they say “a perfect heir’s” for their family. It also caused her depression and coldness towards Faye.
It was her “16th birthday” when his father arranged a grand birthday party for her, inviting all his business colleagues and partners but her mother didn’t show up.
Mr. Chennester cheers her up and gives her a gift a “car key”; a purple Lamborghini is outside their mansion. She can’t help but feel amazingly astonished. She is in awe, and she hugs her father tightly. All of the guests clap their hands and take pictures of this father and daughter moment.
In the morning news and the whole day news, they are in the Business News column showing the grand birthday party of Honey and the most talked about gift at her birthday given by her father. It mostly talks about topics in social media. The videos are shared, and the most viral videos are circulating in social media.
But again, a few days after her birthday, the News shocked them once again; Honey’s heart is shattered and shaken by the News that his father died in a car accident.
All of their helpers are scared in her mother state, but her mother wouldn’t let her come near Mrs. Chennester, their family doctor calms her mother by injecting medicines that soothe her.
Faye is terrified by sight, and she pitied her mother; she wanted to hug her and calm her down, but she doesn’t acknowledge her. She cried the whole day until they are no tears falling anymore.
Raven research all of that information he can find by himself.
Raven can’t digest all the information easily; Faye’s life is hard at a younger age.
Raven knows Faye’s step-father takes over the business and be the CEO of their company while she is still incapable of managing it.
Raven then a thing of his family riches, status, and wealth is no a joke either. The Hamilton’s Travels and Tours Agencies, Resort, Hotel and Recreation Business

Raven is showered with love by her mother, Mrs. Priscilla Hamilton; she is good-natured, loving, and always caring towards him.
But his father, Mr. Arthur Hamilton is strict, cold, dominant, and consistently superior in his chosen fields; he wanted his son to be an achiever and on the top of his game like him. He always got his eyes on Raven and always on the watch by his actions. He always pushes his son to do his best and still expects a winning achievement from him.
Raven features in Sports magazine, which usually features a particular article about him. In terms of academics, he is well known for his “excellent grades” and exceptional achievements.
“Ranking is everything; you have to be on the top spot and remained there” that’s what his father is always telling him, and he engraved it in his mind and heart.
Being on the top of his every game is his priorities, and on the top mission, he is always pleased whenever her mother smiles because she is proud of her son.
None other more significant achievements for Raven than making her mother smile and proud of him, Raven wants his father’s recognition; Mrs. Chennester’s love and support are what keeps him going.
It is the reason even he is having a hard time proving himself to his father and pleased him. He never shows his weakness, and he always ȧssures her mother that he is doing fine.
“Raven as my one and only successor and son. I know you will never fail me,” his father’s voice echoes in his head.
Raven can’t help but feel frustrated in his situation, he loves his family, but he also wanted to love Faye and be part of her life.
Their families have internal war, and he will never want Faye to be ȧssociates in that mess.
Raven cellphone rings “Raven” his father voice rings in his head
“It seems you’re having fun in the Evaluation Week, remember my eyes are on you” his father talking
“Why do you call father?” Raven curious
“Come to the house, will talk about it” Raven’s father is authoritative.
