Desolate World - Chapter 94
“Ah…, It’s so good,” Ace said after drinking his ginger ale. Although they didn’t add sugar to it, the spicy flavor of the ginger was refreshing.
“Yuck! It’s spicy,” Geo spat his ginger ale. He then took his water bag to neutralize the spicy taste.
“I have told you. It’s too spicy for you. You didn’t listen to me,” Ace said in amusement.
After gulping the water once more, Geo said, “I don’t want it again.”
Ace and the rest smiled at Geo’s behavior. Sofia and the rest seemed to haven’t believed that the child that looked normal had the strongest power among them. Even Ace had to admit, although he had the most powerful raw damage and maneuverability, in group battle, his son was better than him several times.
If not because of his lack of commanding ability because of his young age, Ace believed that his son’s army of monsters and skeletons would stand tall among tamer-type guardians.
“So, what else do you want to talk about?” Sofia asked.
“It’s about the quota,” Ace said while looking at Cloud.
Cloud and Sampson were alarmed. They then looked at Ace with serious stares.
“Can you elaborate about the quota further?” Sampson asked.
“For some reason, I got 10 quotas. The quotas to migrate to a different world,” Ace wanted to tell the truth to them.
“…,” The room’s atmosphere became tense.
“Do you understand what you have said? It’s not funny at all,” It’s Cloud’s turn to ask.
“I tell the truth. We can migrate there immediately, if I want to. Of course, what I meant by ‘we’ is our bodies in our original world. The Earth,” Ace said solemnly.
Everyone except for Ace and Geo took a deep breath after hearing it.
“What is the name of the world?” Cloud asked. She still couldn’t believe it yet.
Ace didn’t know if this question could be shared, so he wanted to ask the guide. But, the guide directly answered, ‘Yes, you can answer everything about the sky world according to what I have already told you.’
“The name of the world is the Sky World,” Ace answered.
Cloud’s complexion then became grave. After looking at Cloud’s expression, Sampson sighed. He then said, “It seems you have done it, brother. If we are in a normal situation, I have to report this discovery as soon as possible. But, with our bodies in hibernation mode, the risk is too big. If I forcefully wake up, I may can’t enter this game for a long time.”
Ace frowned when his brother said this world, the game. However, he couldn’t argue with him, as almost all people in his original world just thought it was just a game.
Even the scientist that was involved in the capsule’s development like Cloud couldn’t accept the world as the real world wholeheartedly. so, he chose to be quiet about this topic, even if he had permission to explain it.
“I still don’t get it. Do you get a ticket to a different world? Not another game?” Sofia asked. She seemed confused about it.
Cloud then explained the condition of the earth and the existence of another world. She also explained the great desire of the government to understand the world they were playing the game and how to get quotas in this world.
“So we will travel to a different world? Wow…,” Geo asked.
Looking at her cute grandson, Cloud couldn’t help but to stroke his hair with a smile, “Yes, when the time comes.”
“So, what is your plan? As you already have quotas, do you want to migrate right away?” Sampson asked.
Ace had already thought about how to answer the question a few days ago. He then said, “No! Don’t you think this world is good? We have met many nice people, and now, they gave us this house. Don’t you think we should help them to protect this village? Don’t you want to see how this village will become in the future? They also need our help.
And I still don’t know who else the 5 quotas I should give. Let’s wait for some time.”
Cloud and Sampson seemed to have something to say, but they canceled their intentions at the last second.
“Yes, I have helped Aria design this village. If I can, I want to witness it grow into the beautiful village that we have planned,” Sofia said.
“I-I don’t want to part with Jumpy and the rest. Can we stay in this village?” Geo asked.
“I still need to report to my higher-ups about our findings. You know, it can help them to get more clues about how to get the quotas? After all, I want many more people to be saved,” Sampson said.
“As for me, I want to accompany Geo as long as I can. I don’t have any ambition. Witnessing him growing is my greatest wish,” Cloud said.
Getting their agreement, Ace took a deep breath. After all, this ‘quotas’ stuff was something that couldn’t be handled carelessly, as it was related to the existence of human beings. If he could, he wanted to save as many people as possible.

After closing the door of her room, Cloud sighed. She then sat on his bed and took a yellow card. It was a special item that she got from the developer of the capsule before she left the moon. Its function was to send a short message to the developers if she had found the clue about the quotas in the game, and she for some reason couldn’t tell it via internet or phone in the real world.
They had prepared that much because it was related to humanity’s fate and they realized that they had powerful enemies that didn’t hesitate to use any means to get what they wanted.
She then wrote ’10SW’ on it and then she activated the card. The card then became fragments of light.
“It seems after this, this village will be popular,” Cloud murmured.
She didn’t know that her message would cause a major turbulence in the Human Union government body. Even if she knew, it seemed she didn’t care about it.
