Destined For Life - Chapter 2
As I walked, I tried to lean on the maid, but she nimbly dodged, causing me to fall flat on my face. The maid had a disgusted expression, as if she was almost thrown up on. How provoking can you be!?
Crawling to get up, the maid was just walking away at the same speed she did when she was first walking with me. I struggled to keep up with her, the numbness in my legs still there as if I had been drugged.
We reached a door, which she knocked on, received a “Come in,” and opened. I walked in, alert and ready to attack with my puny skills. I do karate, come at me bro!
No I don’t.
As I walked in, I was suddenly grabbed from behind, thrown on the floor, and then hand cuffed with some wooden handcuffs or something. I winced in pain. The guards that threw me down were obviously not to underestimated, and, of course, were stronger than me, a trash.
They pulled me up, making me face a face I already started to hate. Xun Xiang. He smiled and, as if mocking my pain, got up, walked towards me, and touched my face.
Ew! He touched me! I don’t care if he’s hot with his messy black hair, bright blue eyes… Just the right– Ahh, snap out of it! This guy, I nearly forgot what was put into my brain.
He is unable to control how much love, or love magic, he is exuding towards someone. It is incredibly strong, especially towards those he absolutely hates and absolutely loves. The ones in the middle are barely influenced.
“Hi sister. I’m glad you woke up!” He said, an innocent tone filling his deep voice. I had to ask him the question that had been bothering me. “How the heck did you even know I woke up, even getting a maid to come over so quickly!?” I asked, accusing him of stalking me.
He nodded, as if answering the question in my mind. “Of course, I have someone who watches you all day and night, trash-chan!~” He answered, his innocent and mischievious tone making me want to punch him in the face and puke all at the same time.
I struggled in the guard’s grip. “Let me go!” I screeched, causing him to open his eyes wide in shock. I guess he didn’t expect me to retaliate. “No, I can’t, sister. If I do then you’ll try to beat me up again!” He complained childishly. He pointed towards a very tiny, almost invisible, cut on his cheek. “Look at my face!” He complained yet again. “Ruined!”
I growled at him, then I froze when the door opened to reveal.
