A week later…

“Bro, there’s still no movement from Aiden and Scarlet. We tailed them for a week and got nothing.” Luke said.

Elijah, Luke, Dave, Brett with Aly were again in Luke’s place.

“The men who were roaming around the village also disappeared from our sight.” Elijah said. Brett kept silent. Dave was also quite.

“I think we just over reacted. You should stop watching them secretly.” Aly said that made Brett looked at her. “Both Elijah and Luke have done their part and got nothing. Besides, you’re always with me like a bodyguard.” Aly continued that made the three men smiled but Brett frowned. “We can call them if there’s something wrong, right?” Aly said and looked at Elijah and Luke alternately asking help to get Brett’s approval.

“Yeah, you can call us.” Elijah said. “Even when we’re in the middle of a fight, we’ll hurriedly go and help you.” Luke said smiling. Brett gave him an annoyed glare.

“Come on, sweetheart. It’s hard to move when you knew that there were eyes following you wherever you go.” Aly said pleading. The three men felt awkward on the sweet name uttered by Aly. Brett sighed. “Ok, as you wish.” Brett said. “Thanks.” Aly said smiling.

The following days went smoothly. Luke’s men stopped watching Aly and tailing Aiden and Scarlet. But, Aly and her sons were still in Brett’s house. Aly tried to persuade Brett to let them stay at their own house but the latter didn’t agree.

“Miss, they already stopped their snooping . What do we do now?” The man asked his lady boss. “Ok, they thought they can find us but sorry for them, I’m great in hiding.” The lady said then wickedly grinned. “We’ll get her by tomorrow. Be ready.” The lady said before ending the call.

“Mom, where are we going tomorrow?” Tyler asked. They had finished their dinner and have done their own tasks. The family was seated altogether in the living room watching a movie. “Where do you want to go?” Aly asked. “Let’s go camping!” Caden said excitedly. “Yes, yes, that’s a great idea. We weren’t able to do it last holiday because the place was jam-packed.” Harper said. “You sure?” Aly asked. “Yes, Mom!” The youngsters spoke at once.

“I knew a place not far, maybe we can try it.” Brett said. His hands on Aly’s waist. “Ok, I’ll just go early to the shop to let Amelia know. You should also inform Dave. Maybe, we can leave after lunch.” Aly said. Brett nodded.

“Ok, kids, let’s get up and go to sleep.” Brett said. Because they knew that they will have an exciting venture tomorrow, they happily followed their dad not knowing that Brett had something fishy in mind. The kids bid their goodnights to their dad and mom and go inside their respective rooms. The couple were left on the living area.

“Mrs. Navarro?” Brett said. Aly was busy munching her junkfood while watching the movie. “Hmmm…” She only responded. “Can you pay me the debt you owe me together with the interest?” Brett said while stroking Aly’s back. Aly smiled wickedly that made Brett furrowed his forehead. “I can’t.” Aly said that made Brett face more crumpled. “Why?” Brett asked. “My visitor had just arrived this morning.” Aly said still smiling. Brett sighed. “But, I can give you the interest.” Aly said licking her hands because of the bits of the junkfood left on her fingers. Brett gulped and his eyes twinkled. “Ok, ok!” Brett said and Aly laughed.

They went inside their room. Took their showers and laid in bed. After few strokes, few licks, and a skilled hand job, the room was filled with Brett’s moan of pleasure.

“Caden and Aria, please help your brother and sister in preparing our things for the camping. Me and Dad will meet Uncle Dave and Auntie Amelia to inform them that we’ll be out later till tomorrow.” Aly said and the kids spoke at once “Yes,Mom!”.

“Laura, we’ll have lunch here. You can take your off later and tomorrow. Just come back here on Monday.” Aly said and Laura just answered “Yes, Ma’am!”

The couple left the house and proceeded to their offices. Brett fetched Aly first to her office. “I’ll come back before lunch. Wait for me.” Brett said and gave a kiss on Aly’s lips. Aly nodded and waved goodbye to Brett. She entered the shop and greeted her staff before going upstairs. She called Amelia to inform her about her leave of absence and about some paper works and supplies. The two ladies were busy discussing the supplies needed by the laundry when Aly’s phone rang.

“Hello?” Aly said. Because it was unknown number, Aly felt a little strange. “Hello?” Aly repeated her word. Amelia looked at her curiously and asked using her mouth “Who is it?” and Aly only shrugged her shoulders.

“Help me!” A hoarse voice can be heard from the other line. “Who’s this?” Aly asked feeling a little fear. “Help me! Come outside. Help me!” The voice on the other line said. Because Aly was curious, she stood up and went downstairs. Amelia followed her. They both went out of the shop. The staffs were puzzled why their boss is looking for something outside so they followed.

Amelia and the staff were at the entrance while Aly walked towards the road looking for the person who’s asking for help. “Hello, where are you?” Aly asked but the call was already ended. She faced Amelia and her staffs and made a signal that no one was there. Suddenly, a van stopped and grabbed Aly hurriedly putting her inside the van. The staffs were shocked. No one was able to move. They were frozen as ice seeing that Aly disappeared in an instant.

Brett was busy talking to Dave when his phone rang. The caller id showed it was Amelia. He furrowed his forehead before answering the call. “Yes, Amelia?” Brett asked but didn’t hear any words from her but only sobbing. Brett’s body stiffened. “What happened?” Brett nervously asked. “Aly was kidnapped.” Amelia said. Though it was not clearly stated, Brett felt numbness all over his body. The phone he’s holding fell on the ground.

“Brett!?” Dave said tapping Brett’s shoulders. “Call Elijah and Luke, they got Aly.” Brett tried to compose himself. He must clear his mind. Aly needed him and he will find her even if he turns the place upside down.
