Devil CEO and His Star Wife - C223
The two women sitting across from each other in the café chose to remain silent. The clerk placed the hot drinks in front of them and also felt the strange atmosphere.
“You must be surprised that I called you!” Pei Er.
“What’s the matter?” Lin Sirou asked directly.
“I’ve been thinking a lot these past few days. I originally wanted to destroy you guys, but I loved Shaojie. I didn’t want him to feel sad, so I chose to let him go.” Pei Er’s voice was choked with emotions.
“Then what’s your next plan?”
“I decided to go back to Canada.” Pei Er frowned slightly.
“Do you need me to tell Zuo Shaojie?”
“No, please don’t tell him. It’s not a big deal anyway, he won’t care.” Pei Er seemed to be saying this to himself.
“I know how he feels about you. He values you a lot.” Lin Sirou smiled.
Pei Er’s eyes widened in surprise, then he lowered his eyes. “No matter how much you value me, compared to you, I’m still insignificant.”
“Don’t think like that.” Lin Sirou covered his hands, as if he wanted to give some of his power to Pei Er.
Pei Er looked at Lin Sirou’s hands that were covering his own hands, and couldn’t help but raise a smile: “You’re really a very good person, letting you take care of Young Jie I’m relieved.”
“Don’t doubt yourself. You’re fine too.”
“Very good, but it’s not the most suitable match for Shaojie.” Pei Er smiled. Her sorrow was still tied to Zuo Shaojie, and her mind was still tied to Zuo Shaojie.
“Forget it, let’s not talk about this anymore. The more I talk, the more upset I will be.” Pei Er smiled again.
“Yes.” Lin Sirou retracted his hand.
“Shaojie has some bad habits, so it’s better to tell you first. Although this would break the rules of the game, I …” The smile froze on his lips.
“If you want to say it, then say it! I want to hear it too. ”
“Young Jie likes to hug the ball when he’s covered in sweat after it’s over …” The person he loves, I think he wants to follow his victory… I’ll share it with you. ” The scene flipped in Pei Er’s mind. It was Zuo Shaojie, who was wearing a ball shirt, hugging her, and she was still yearning towards the two of them with their sweet smiles.
“Yes.” Lin Sirou looked at Pei Er’s complicated expression, both sad and deep in emotion.
“Mm …” Although he is very tired, he will still listen to what you have to say. However, once you have finished, he will fall asleep against your shoulder. Tears of grief gathered in Pei Er’s eyes, clouding her eyes.
“Also …” He likes to hold your hand so tightly each time, as if he’s afraid you’ll run away, and although it’s a bit uncomfortable, you’ll be happy. ” The tears that fell were quickly wiped away by Pei Er.
Lin Sirou’s heart started to hurt as well. It was as if his entire body was filled with liquid, making it hard for him to move.
“He likes to drink drinks, but he doesn’t like to drink water. Every time, you would force him to drink it, and only then would he reluctantly drink it. He would reveal the appearance of a cute child, making you want to pinch his face.” Pei Er’s thumb and forefinger gently touched it.
“Oh, that’s right. He hates it when people say he’s cute, so you can only hide this feeling in your heart.”
“He likes to act cool like a normal boy, but once you find out, his face will turn red to the extreme.”
“I’m sorry,” I said. Pei Er’s tears collapsed.
“It’s fine, it’s very nice.” Lin Sirou took a piece of paper and handed it over to Pei Er.
“Why are your tears always falling? “It can’t be wiped out.” Pei Er tried his best to stop his tears, but how could his tears which had already collapsed be stopped so easily?
“If you want to cry, just cry. Don’t hold it in.”
“I’m sorry.” Apologize? Apologized words spilled out from Du Lei’s mouth, then she leaned on the table.
Lin Sirou could feel how deep Pei Er’s feelings were for her, and how difficult it was to make Pei Er let go of her hand. In that moment, Lin Sirou felt that he was being heartless, that she had stepped in between them, or Pei Er had taken the wrong step.
The red light blocked people from moving forward, but it allowed people to move forward horizontally.
“You really don’t want to tell Zuo Shaojie?” Lin Sirou asked again.
“No need.” Pei Er looked straight at the red light.
“Yes.”
“If I tell you I’m sorry again, I’ll still love the young hero until the next right person appears.”
“There’s nothing to apologize for. A good girl like you likes Zuo Shaojie, he should cherish her well.” Lin Sirou not only wanted to console Pei Er, but most of it came from the heart.
“You’re not bad either!” Pei Er smiled, then followed the crowd and walked to the opposite street.
The biting winter wind brushed against people’s cheeks, causing them to feel a stabbing pain in their hearts.
Luo Xiaotang stretched his legs and sat on the ground, his hands naturally punched down, his back against the railing, his head leaning on Zuo Lei’s shoulder.
“Are you sure you don’t want to go back?” Zuo Lei’s left hand held the car key tightly, and turned to look at Luo Xiaotang.
Luo Xiaotang nodded and rubbed his face against Zuo Yu’s shoulder.
Suddenly, the phone that Luo Xiaotang had placed on the ground vibrated with even more colorful lights. The screen showed “Cheng Feng’s” love for him, and it looked so dazzling and desolate.
“He seems to have split his legs again.” Luo Xiaotang felt powerless, as if he was floating over from far away.
“If you’re not sure, why don’t you ask?” Zuo Lei lightly pressed his head against Luo Xiaotang’s.
“I don’t dare to ask. I’m afraid that I won’t be able to take it again. I had just barely made it through the ordeal. If I do it again, I really don’t dare to imagine what would happen to me.” Luo Xiaotang slowly brought his left hand to his mouth.
“If you don’t ask, aren’t you going to have a hard time?” Zuo Lei caught Luo Xiaotang’s hand in time.
“At least I can still feel it. It’ll still hurt.” Luo Xiaotang withdrew the power in his left hand.
“I don’t think it’s a good idea to live like a zombie.”
“You don’t understand.”
“Even if I don’t understand, I still love a person. I can also feel pain, and I know how difficult it is to endure pain.” Zuo Lei retorted. He might have been honest with Luo Xiaotang, but he didn’t express his feelings.
Luo Xiaotang remained silent.
Cheng Feng called again, but the other side of the phone received a standard reply, which he hung up the phone in anger.
He was worried about Luo Xiaotang’s whereabouts, but was also afraid that she already knew of that matter. The unbearable pain he was feeling continuously seemed to be about to tear his heart apart.
Cheng Feng paced back and forth inside the house, his brows knitted tightly together as his uneasiness eroded him.
Deep into the night, the woman that Cheng Feng was thinking about still did not appear. He powerlessly sat on the sofa.
The sunlight shone into the room as the sounds of birds came from outside the window.
The sound of the door opening had long echoed in Cheng Feng’s ears. He hurriedly walked to the door and saw Luo Xiaotang walking past him tiredly, seemingly ignoring him.
“Where did you go yesterday?” The worry that filled his heart was swept away and replaced with anger.
Luo Xiaotang did not reply.
Cheng Feng pulled Luo Xiaotang’s arm, forcing her to face him.
“It has nothing to do with you.” Luo Xiaotang avoided looking into her eyes.
“I called you all night and you actually turned off your phone. Do you know how worried I am about you?”
“So what?” Luo Xiaotang still spoke with an indifferent tone.
“What’s the matter with you?” Cheng Feng sensed that something was amiss with Luo Xiaotang, and turned to probe her.
“It’s nothing. I’m tired. Go back!” Luo Xiaotang got rid of Cheng Feng’s hand.
“Alright, you rest first. I’ll come back tonight.” Cheng Feng’s tone turned flat, and his unease once again replaced his anger.
Luo Xiaotang did not respond anymore, and only silently walked into the room and locked the door.
Lin Sirou placed the plate with the sandwich on top of Zuo Shaojie’s table, then sat down.
“I think I’d better tell you something.” Lin Sirou poured a cup of milk for Zuo Shaojie.
“What?” Zuo Shaojie bit off a piece of toast.
“Pei Er will take the three o’clock plane back to Canada.”
Zuo Shaojie paused, a sort of sour feeling stimulated his senses, and then he continued to eat breakfast.
“Go send her off!”
Zuo Shaojie raised his head to look at Lin Sirou, and then nodded.
Inside the crowded airport, Pei Er was holding onto the ticket, feeling nervous. She wanted to find the possibility of Zuo Shaojie appearing, but she suppressed it, and the strength in her hands gradually increased.
The radio rang beside her ears, reminding Pei Er that he should start his journey back, she slowly stood up. At that moment, she actually had the thought of not wanting to leave again, but that thought quickly disappeared from her mind.
“Pei Er!”
Tears were brimming in her eyes as she turned around in anticipation. Her tears rolled down her face quickly, because this time, it wasn’t an illusion caused by her excessive longing, but the scene in front of her eyes that Zuo Shaojie was really standing right in front of her.
Zuo Shaojie walked in front of Pei Er: “Are you leaving?”
“Yes.” His voice was soured with emotion.
“Take care of yourself in Canada.” Zuo Shaojie placed a hand on Pei Er’s shoulder.
“Yes.” His mouth was still tightly shut.
“Take care.”
Pei Er turned around. She wanted to leave, but the desire in her heart couldn’t be dispelled.
“Young Jie, can you hug me?”
Zuo Shaojie smiled, and then wrapped his arms around her.
Pei Er hugged Zuo Shaojie tightly. She wanted to remember this feeling in her heart, or at least remember this feeling in the future.
“Goodbye.”
“Goodbye.”
When the plane took off, Pei Er’s love for her was over. However, her special longing began from this moment onwards. The feeling of hugging just now seemed to still be there.
Pei Er looked at the watch on her wrist. Doraemon was still smiling happily, but the corner of her mouth was raised slightly. This was a sign that Zuo Shaojie had loved her, but in the end, she was still very fond of Zuo Shaojie.
“Are you jealous?” Zuo Shaojie placed his hand on Lin Sirou’s shoulder.
“No way!” Lin Sirou leaned his head against Zuo Shaojie.
“Don’t worry, I love you.”
“I’m not jealous.”
“I just wanted to say it.”
“Boring.”
The plane flew into the sky and gradually disappeared into the distance. However, there were some things that would not end, such as memories of the past.
