Did Not Say Anything About My Feelings - Chapter 12 Part 1. Attractiveness
Lin Ye met Xia Dongchan on the way back.
“It’s almost your turn, the production group asked me to come and look for you,” Xia Dongchan dragged him back, his gaze flitting across Lin Ye’s face, “Lin Ye, why didn’t I realize before that you have the bad habit of eating your lipstick?”
Lin Ye touched his mouth, “I wiped it off.”
Xia Dongchan was puzzled, “The filming is not over, why did you wipe it off?”
He remembered Jiang Lian’s words, “It’s not like I’m a girl, what’s the use of wearing lipsticks?”
Xia Dongchan snorted when he heard those words, “Am I a girl?”
Lin Ye turned around and looked at him seriously, “When you say that, I do think that you look like a girl.”
Xia Dongchan tried to pinch his waist. The staff walked over to interrupt them, hurrying Lin Ye, “The next one is you, hurry and go over.”
Xia Dongchan took a step back and waved a hand at him, “Go on, I’ll wait for you at the front door.”
Lin Ye followed the staff into the recording classroom, the trainee before him had already left. The director sat behind the camera and gestured to him, telling him to go to the ballot box.
After he stood in front of the ballot box, Lin Ye took out the voting slip from his pocket, and picked up the pen on the table, facing the blank paper and thinking for a moment, then he bent down to write.
The camera was opposite him and did not move. The director had him raise the voting slip and stay facing the camera for three seconds. Lin Ye seemed to not have heard clearly and he directly threw the paper into the ballot box.
The director frowned, but when the director remembered that Lin Ye was not a popular trainee, the director skipped that segment and directly asked him, “Who did you vote for just now?”
Lin Ye was stunned for a moment, and after that, he smiled at the camera, “Xia Dongchan.”
The director asked again, “Why did you vote for him?”
Lin Ye lowered his gaze and thought for two seconds, “It’s probably because no one will think that he isn’t the Center.”
The frown on the director’s face deepened, and the director nodded at Lin Ye, signaling that he could leave. After that, he turned to the person next to him and said, “What rubbish was he saying? Cut out that part.”
The person nodded and agreed.
In the afternoon, the producers chose thirty people to record the theme song on stage. It was no surprise that the Center position was given to Jiang Lian. The rankings had yet to be announced, but it seemed that a lot of people took it for granted that the first place for overall ability evaluation, Jiang Lian, should get the Center position in the stage recording of the theme song.
Furthermore, besides Jiang Lian’s ability in the first evaluation, before he had entered the island, many people had heard of Jiang Lian and Ming Rang, as well as the management company that was behind them that was extremely powerful in the entertainment industry.
There were even people who had predicted in private that the fight for the Center position was probably an internal fight within the company. No matter who managed to get the Center position, the remaining person would get a high position as well and their management company would be the biggest winner.
The team gave the other seventy trainees half a day off. Lin Ye returned to his hostel to sleep, but the other two people in the same company went to the recording room to watch the theme song filming and called him to go as well.
Lin Ye thought for a moment before he followed them.
When he entered the room, he saw that opposite the stage, there were quite a few trainees that were on holiday sitting around. The producers were so busy that they could not stop for even a moment, and the trainees that had finished putting on makeup were chatting on the two sides of the stage.
Lin Ye noticed that everyone had removed their class uniforms and were wearing a cyan uniform.
Their top was a white button-up shirt and a cyan suit jacket. Their pants were cyan trousers and black leather shoes. The shirt was buttoned up to the highest button, and there was a silver tie clip on the tie, a famous brand sewn at the chest area.
Lin Ye had that uniform as well, but he had never worn it before.
His gaze slowly wandered around the stage, but he did not know what he was looking for.
