“As: sighs…girls are THE worst thing that has ever happened to mankind”

Asher said sighing deeply

“Si: you’re over exaggerating it”

Sieg said patting Asher on the back

“Si: Elise is a handful but she still isn’t too bad”

“As: no, she’s the worst of them all”

Asher corrected him

“As: manipulating my every action like a marionette! And acting all pure and oblivious, it’s like she takes joy in my suffering!”

(Si: you really can’t handle attention, can you?)

“Si: don’t be so pessimistic! I mean I handled it just fine when I was her partner, although she didn’t payed me as much attention as she did you”

Sieg began to wonder

“As: what?…what did you just say?”

Asher asked

“Si: I was in your same position before she met you but she didn’t tormented me as much I don’t think”

Sieg said scratching his chin

“As: so basically…”

(As: it’s his fault!!!)

Asher thought, ready to strangle Sieg

“Si: uhh…you okay?”

Although Asher’s expression and demeanor were unnaturally calm and emotionless as always and he had his black hood on, Sieg noticed the slight shift of motion in Asher and took that as a sign

(As: he noticed that mere twitch? Damn…he’s good, well I guess that’s a given considering what I’ve learned about him these past 5 months)

(As: Sieg, despite being a mage has many skillsets that make him scarily fit to be an assassin, I can tell due to the staggering amount of times someone has made an attempt on my life)

(As: in fact if Sieg was someone born on earth he would no doubt be world-class hitman, magic or not)

(As: although that might be bad for me, due to how many “targets” that were put on me back then from the British SAS to the American navy SEALs, JSOCs and Delta force, everyone wanted a piece of me…in fact there were some days that I thought I would end up like Osama Bin Ladin before I could get my revenge)

(As: actually now that I’ve mention it I’m pretty sure the Interpol and FBI had me on their most wanted list after I developed that “particle infusion stealth bomb” and sold it to the highest bidder in Pakistan)

(As: but even still, I cannot say with absolute certainty that I would survive being targeted by Sieg and that’s even with my experience in avoiding the governments of the world and being on the U.N’s radar)

(As: I truly hope that I won’t have to be pit against him anytime soon)

Asher thought as a sweat drips down his neck

“As: no it’s nothing, I was just lost in thought”

“Si: really? Because your heartbeat and complexion is all over the place”

Sieg said

“As: …you can sense that?”

Asher asked completely masking his concern this time

“Si: of course”

Sieg replied as if what he just said was a casual thing to converse about

(As: yep, I’m gonna need to plan a countermeasure for him, just in case)

Asher thought knowing what he’s gonna do tonight

“Si: well anyway, back on to our previous topic…”

“Ai: onii-chan!! I’m back, did you miss me?”

Before Sieg could continue Airi suddenly longed forward hugging Asher’s back

“As: what more prove do you need?”

Asher said even more annoyed now than he was before

“Si:…I see”

“Ai: what are you two talking about?”

Airi asked

“As: nothing, we’re just discussing matters about our lives”

Asher explained

Airi was quiet for a while then said:

“Ai: …well okay, I just want you to know that I’m going out with Regis tonight”

“As: you and Regis are dating?”

Asher inquired

“Ai: of course not, we’re just doing a joint project together”

“As: and you’ll telling me this…why?”

“Ai: because, it’s a little sister’s duty to report everything she does to her older brother”

Airi said letting go of Asher and putting her hands on her hip while making a prideful face as if she’s just accomplished something

(As: wow…10/10 logic right there)

Asher thought rolling his empty eyes

“As: whatever…do what you want, what you want to do is none of my business”

Asher said giving his confirmation

“Ai: thanks bro, oh but make sure not to do anything weird while I’m gone okay?”

Airi said looking intensely at Asher as if giving him a warning

“As: I can barely give enough of a damn to wake up every morning and you think I care enough to try anything? Oh please…spare me your sh*t and just go already”

Asher said shoo-ing Airi

“Ai: well there was that one time with Elise…”

Airi said suspicious

“As: that was a setup!”

Asher stated

“Ai: yeah yeah…well, I’m off”

When Airi walked away Asher looked back at the silent Sieg and asked

“As: do you see my point now?”

“Si: crystal clear…but it’s not that bad, right?”

Sieg said with a shaky voice

“As: is it?”

“Si: well look on the bright side, you get to spend time with the hottest girl in the academy, that’s a plus right?”

“As: if you’re talking about Elise than I’ll admit, her beauty transcends description and her personality is desirable for the most part, but as someone who was the focal point of her torment you should know better than that”

Asher said giving Sieg the “really?” Look

“Si: okay, yeah you’re right, but I still think you should reconsider your disposition in this matter”

“As: meaning?”

“Si: girls can be hard to handle, but not all of them are vicious creatures, just keep that in mind”

Sieg said walking away

“As:…”

Looking at this Asher sat there thinking for a while

“As: noted…”

He said packing his stuff and preparing to leave

At the door of the class he suddenly remembered his conversation earlier with Elise

(As: oh yeah, I promised Elise to help her with the Regulus magic formula this evening…)

(As: and once again my life is being directed by a women…)

Asher thought exasperated

(As: when did I become so entangled in these things that I hate?)
