Asher asked
“Si: what?”
“As: tell me what you know about the Tricobrial Hydrallisk”
“Si: wouldn’t asking the principal be more beneficial?”
“As: after that little stunt she pulled my trust in her words have dropped bellow zero, so no”
(Si: there’s a number for your trust?)
Sweats travels down Sieg’s face
“Si:…very well, the Tricobrial Hydrallisk was founded about 40 or so years ago by 3 people (obviously), Morphious Francis,Utopia Coelum and finally…Cornelia Von Crestia”
Sieg explained
“As: huh… well that explains a lot”
“Si: it was originally meant to be a sort of administrative body for Avalon, in fact they WERE the ones who discovered this dimension and build Avalon in the first place”
“As: let me guess, someone had way too much expectations?”
Asher said in a blank but mocking tone
“Si: yep…Coelum and Francis-sama got a little bit too obsessed with training future mages and eventually they moved their obsession into making/becoming the “perfect being”…or so they say”
“As: classic cult leaders…so, how many were affected?”
“Si: nearly all residents of Avalon at that time, they combined indoctrination methods with hypnotic suggestions, drugs, fake promises and benefits etc.”
“As: so on top of having 2 people possibly on par with principal Cornelia they have control of approximately 20000-50000 mages and that was when they were just starting out, I’ve heard that they’re a sect now”
“Si: yep again…(sighs)…they’ve taken control of the western nation and a few of their smaller neighbours too”
Sieg explained
“As: …what a pain, I admire the Principal’s planning but isn’t the risk a bit too much?”
(As: she’s putting a bunch of kids in the middle of Avalon and a f.u.c.k.i.n.g multi-national cult, how the hell does she think this is a good idea?)
Asher cursed Cornelia in his mind although his body remained adamant in keeping his calm
(As: even in situations like this I still won’t scream out in frustration huh? Hmm… it’s like a part of me is unconsciously keeping my cool)
(As: wait why would she go through this trouble if she just met me this semester?…unless)
An idea suddenly popped in his mind
“Si: well she’s an intelligent lady but she’s not perfect”
“As: so, how were they beaten the first time?”
“Si: how else? Principal Cornelia beat all of them, by herself no less”
“As: hmm…”
Asher thought hard
“Si: you got something on your mind?”
Sieg asked
“As:…does Cornelia-sama have some sort of visual power?”
Asher asked
“Si: what? What’s with that all of a sudden?”
“As: well you know how Elise has that “eyes of mysticism” skill which allows her to see a person true character right? I was wondering if her mother has some type of skill like that”
Asher explained
“Si: ohh… oh yeah, I do think she has one…wait a minute, how do you know about Elise’s skill”
(As: oh crap, I accidentally admitted that I used universal analogy to appraised Elise)
As he was thinking this his body automatically responded:
“As: she told me, obviously”
Asher said
“Si: is that so?… well whatever, I do believe that prin. Cornelia has the skill “clairvoyance” which allows her to see into the future of whoever in front of her at that time, although I heard she can only use it 5 times a day”
(As: I knew it…)
“As: for a scheming old lady, she’s good”
Asher commented seemingly realising something
“Now you’re beginning to get it”
Cornelia sat in her office smiling
“Si: what do you mean?”
Sieg asked
“As: nothing, more importantly I know how to defeat the Tricobrial Hydrallisk now”
