Arias sad waking up from her dream
She was sitting on top of a box in a dimly lit bas.e.m.e.nt of some kind
Her attire consist of a sailor like red outfit with a black side skirt cover and a short black cloak that wrapped around her neck and ran down her back
“Ar: what am I? 70? Why am I always thinking about that shitty past?”
Arias wondered since she really hates reminiscing on what’s already over
“Ar: although it does beg the question: who was that potato girl? And why can’t I remember her?”
(Ar: the side effects of the drugs didn’t include amnesia so why can’t I remember much about that time?)
“Ar: maybe it’s just my body’s way of saying that it doesn’t want to remember”
Arias jokingly said smiling to herself
Her smile had something incredibly gentle about it that leaves a bitter taste in those who view it

Arias eyes light up with resolve

“As: It’s about time”
Asher said standing in his room
The room was dimly lit revealing little of the contents inside
But what can be revealed were mostly used up scrolls, chalks of multiple colours along with charcoal, books, gemstones and tools among other things messily lying about
“As: you know where they would appear right?”
Asher asked Elise who is also there while putting on what seems like gauntlets
“E: they may have temporarily taken over the portal systems but they’re not very good at covering their tracks… well not compared to me at least”
Elise explained
“As: let me guest you use the rebound effect to recreate their magic wavelength and calculated their alterations to the system from there?”
“E: yep, it was quite a hassle for most people to decipher the discrepancy in the entire magical network in just about 1.3 days but I managed somehow so it’s fine I guess”
(As: Elise had to look through the entire underground magic network of Avalon, and in order to pull it off in that amount of time would mean that she had to process 4.5×10’42 bits of data every second while she worked)
(As: that’s faster than even the latest AIs Apple had developed on earth)
(As: without my second consciousness I generally can process about 1.4×10’52 bits of information per tick but’s that’s still lukewarm compared to the crap higher leveled mages can pull off)
(As: in terms of the amount of magicol, me and the coalition have just enough to qualify for average but in terms of knowledge and being able to execute magic me and Elise are roughly mid tier to low high tier)
(As: but in a real battle between magic users, amount of magicol and knowledge doesn’t matter, a fight is only decided by four things: how complex your spell is, how fast can you cast it, if you succeed in casting it and the strategies you implement)
(As: after all failure at casting results in backfires like that time with Emile and the inter-team battle, these things are common in stressful long fights)
(As: all other members of the coalition apart from me and Elise are between level 10-15 which is higher than the average students who caps out at 5-10)
(As: I’m currently level 23 and Elise’s is the same)
