Evelynn and Rea Tyriel lost their vision from the ground floor of the Mystical Herb Mansion.

When they came to their senses, they were in a new space, its edges covered in darkness. They were standing a hundred meters away from each other, blinking, when Rea Tyriel took a step forward and screamed.

“Evelynn… why did you contend? You’re trying to steal what you asked? It makes no sense!”

“Calm down.”

Evelynn sighed lightly, “I’m making sure it’s in my hands if we were to be teleported somewhere else and-”

“If that’s the case, then that’s understandable, but you could’ve used your right to contend and stole from someone else. Now, I have wasted a common right to acquire… hmph!”

Rea Tyriel looked angry, making Evelynn press her lips lightly.

She looked above, noticing the rules.

[An opponent can be defeated in two ways. One way is to kill them, causing their soul to be injured by twenty-five percent. Another way is for them to admit defeat, causing their souls to get injured by five percent.]

Rea Tyriel’s lips parted in shock. She returned her gaze to Evelynn, turning even more angry.

Rea Tyriel’s cheeks puffed as though she was going to curse. She indeed felt like going crazy as she pulled on her blonde hair, looking crazy.

Rea Tyriel harrumphed, but she blushed. The way Evelynn said it made her look like she was mad for reacting that way. After all, to contend with Evelynn would also mean that Evelynn would lose five percent of her soul essence in the case she conceded, facing a fate similar to hers.

She turned to look at Evelynn, becoming even more shocked as the circle underneath her feet didn’t fade. Instead, it began lighting up more, making her disappear.

“Evelynn!”

Worried voices echoed from various distances as Isabella and Shirley quickly came to Evelynn’s side, dashing at full speed.

As soon as they were near, they tried to grab Rea Tyriel with menacing eyes, but Rea Tyriel dodged and raised her hands.

“Wait! Wait…! This is her doing, not mine!”

The way everyone saw it, Rea Tyriel made Evelynn disappear.

It was unknown what happened when Evelynn stepped into the circle, but since she was gone, everyone was on high alert.

“Wait… Fairy Evelynn really did step on Rea Tyriel’s circle to contend with her…”

Founder Rocksunder tried to stop them, causing Evelynn and Shirley to come to a stop.

Naturally, they knew Rea Tyriel had started the process. However, the three of them were all capable of sensing each other’s direction through the hex Evelynn placed on them, so they became worried to death when they couldn’t sense her direction anymore.

Where did she go?

“Don’t look up. Evelynn said it was possible that contention is the only way to move to the upper floors.”

However, they saw Zenova Artoria’s eyes widen.

It appeared to hold a flash of insight, and they could see her eyes narrow as though she were smirking behind her veil.

“I see.”

An amused voice echoed out as though confirming it, making Isabella and Shirley curse her for her smart brain.

“She really thought it through these strange rules restricting each other’s movements yet giving leeway to steal three times. But to just test it, I wouldn’t dare try it without trusting each other, though.”

Zenova Artoria walked towards Isabella and Shirley, standing in front of them. However, her gaze fell on Rea Tyriel.

“Now, if anyone wants some treasures, feel free to acquire them.”

“I’ll respectfully decline.”

Rea Tyriel clenched her teeth. After all she went through, she had the urge to display a middle finger to vent but didn’t as she could sense a dangerous aura from Zenova Artoria. At the same time, Isabella and Shirley looked at her as though she were a big opponent, making her stay her hand.

“What’s going on?”

Agnirei appeared from the distance as she hovered. She took a glance at Zenova Artoria, wondering if something happened.

“Agnirei…” Zenova Artoria turned to look at the flame spirit and smirked, “I know you don’t trust me, but choose a treasure right now. I want to contend.”

“Why?”

Agnirei narrowed her eyes.

“Time is of the essence. Otherwise, the good treasures on the upper floors are going to be taken all by Evelynn.”

Zenova Artoria giggled ever so lightly and pointed up to Agnirei’s shock.
