“We won’t apologize for teaming up against you,” Evelynn uttered.

“I know…” Zenova Artoria laughed lightly.

The scythe that pierced into her heart and solar plexus where the dantian lay wasn’t of any concern because she was a soul body. However, having these areas pierced, she could sense that she didn’t have much long in this soulscape as her soul force was dispersing at a faster rate.

“Hehe… didn’t think you had six scythes instead of four…”

Zenova Artoria giggled lightly. She guessed this was the reason for her defeat since she couldn’t defend against all six legs and another spear that was as good as another four hands trying to pierce through her.

“This is the true form of the Earth Dragon and Three-Eyed Chromatic Hex Arachnid mixed blood species… My body has already affixed itself to four legs, but it was different for my children.”

Evelynn’s gaze flickered once she mentioned her children, thinking about Azariel and Viridia, “They have six spider legs emerging from their spine, which means a mixed species would have as much as ten legs. I think it’s only sensible considering the Earth Dragon is huge and weighs more by many times than the Three-Eyed Chromatic Hex Arachnid, so of course, a mixed being birthed from the two of them would need more legs to stand and sustain its weight…”

“But I’m not fully sure as ten legs could be the true form of the Emperor-Tier Earth Dragon and Emperor-Tier Three-Eyed Chromatic Hex Arachnid. Either way, my soul is capable of sustaining six spider legs since I only need to manifest it. As for controlling it, I had too much time to learn while caring for the children…”

Zenova Artoria stared at Evelynn while still laying on the ground. She couldn’t see the point of her children being mentioned but for some reason, it irritated her beyond compare. Perhaps it was the position of being skewered by two scythes and a spear, she didn’t want to continue this anymore.

“Fine… I admit defeat…”

She laid back her head on the ground and relaxed, closing her eyes.

When Zenova Artoria dropped those words, her body shuddered before she dispersed like sands in a desert, leaving only Evelynn and Shirley in the soulscape.

The both of them retracted their weapons and heaved a heavy sigh.

“Her soul prowess was lesser than ours, yet we struggled against her…” Evelynn uttered.

“The difference in our battling experience is huge. If we didn’t team up together, our chances of winning would have been one-third…” Shirley looked surprised.

“Nope.” Evelynn shook her head, “My chances of winning were higher since I have better defense against karmic attacks. That’s why she didn’t target me with karmic attacks but targeted you twice. Besides, I was holding back on my Divine Technique, which is a soul attack.”

“Aha, you caught me there… I wonder if I would revive three times here on account of my soul’s nature because, in that case, I would undoubtedly win against the both of you~”

“Right…”

Shirley and Evelynn laughed together, both not accepting on the account of who would win or lose in a soul battle. They looked at each other with a gaze full of battle intent, wanting to make it clear but as much as they wanted to make it clear, treasures came first for their family.

“I admit defeat in this battle over these lovely assets.”

Shirley slapped Evelynn’s butt, grinning as she began to disperse.

Evelynn smiled cheerfully, “If I go up from managing to defend against the two of your contention, be careful of Zenova’s retaliation. She should be furious or, at the very least, pissed from being teamed up against.”

“Mhm~ I will be careful~” Shirley waved her hand.

When she came back to herself in her main body, she found herself in the same space but in a different area as Shirley and Zenova Artoria weren’t beside her.

At that moment, she knew she entered the second floor where the truly incredible treasures lay.

Stacked in front of her were practically pillars, carrying a treasure on top of them while they were showered underneath a ray of light that she couldn’t view as anything else than a resplendent light of glory.

The sight in front of her made her suck in a breath of cold air, making her shudder all over.

The number of pillars she counted came to twenty-seven.

The first row of pillars in her sight held as many as fourteen treasures since there were fourteen pillars. They seemed to be attributes derived from Primary Laws. Her gaze didn’t stay there for too long before she looked up, her attention quickly moving to the second row of pillars behind the first row.

There were only four pillars in the third row, and each pillar possessed a treasure above them.

Evelynn almost gasped as she took a deep breath.

She recognized a treasure in the third row the moment she laid her eyes on it.

It was none other than the Divine Jade Cicada Fruit, a chaos-attributed resource that Davis used to beget the Chaotic Genesis Physique! Such a treasure was lying here as though it was stored as a display trophy.

It was of little doubt the other three treasures in the third row were of attributes belonging to Supreme Laws, each one extremely important except maybe one treasure.

But despite its pure attraction or charm, Evelynn’s gaze fell on the tallest pillar in the back. It was in the fourth row, a row she didn’t expect would exist as it signified something larger, something more powerful than Supreme Laws.

There was only one pillar, shining with five kinds of light.

Instantly, she could only think of one thing and that was-

“A true Five Elements Law treasure…”

Evelynn couldn’t read its description because there wasn’t one for the third row, and the same went for the fourth. In fact, not even the name was provided, leaving the treasures to be picked at the participants’ discretion.

Regardless of whatever the treasures in the third and fourth rows may be, Evelynn knew she had to obtain them all first for the family. There was only one treasure that attracted her blood, and that was a poison-attributed treasure in the first row, but she went straight to the fourth row, raising her hand and beginning to collect the Five Elements Treasure.

Even if it wasn’t evident, Evelynn felt it was probably the most important treasure in the Mystical Herb Garden.

Two circles appeared, one beneath her and the other empty. There was no one to contend with, allowing her to take the treasure, but her brows narrowed as she looked at the number of minutes she needed to spend to acquire it.
