Divine Emperor of Death - Chapter 3784: Smuggled
“It seems that the increased security is because of a few people called the Inheritors of the Candidacy. There’s also a wide search for Divergents all over the realms.”
Someone from the crowd answered.
It appeared to be another man again. He was short, no more than five feet tall, but there was a significant air around him that made others feel pressured. He could be a fey Sovereign.
“Divergents!? Really?” The tall and bulky man appeared shocked.
“I thought they were mythical existences. Second brother, have you seen one?”
“Nope. Never seen a Divergent, big brother.”
The lanky man shook his head, still not believing such an existence was even present.
Their ignorance made Evelynn and Zenova Artoria frown, but they guessed that just went to say the vastness of the universe. Most people would never make it out of their city in their lifetime, much less a realm.
Even those who traverse realms may have never encountered such beings, even if they have heard of him, leading them to distrust the information they hear. After all, even a Minor Realm was the size of the First Haven world, so how big was a Lower Realm?
It was practically ten times the size.
Such a distance couldn’t be crossed easily.
The ignorance of the people living in a secluded area couldn’t be underestimated, and considering Evelynn and Zenova Artoria were among those who knew almost nothing about the true immortal world, they wouldn’t know what these ignorant people knew.
They continued to listen to the conversation going on between the people.
Apparently, it would take them around six hours to reach the Eternal Twilight Lower Realm and that was because the cargo ship was much faster than the Realm Ship. The latter needed a minimum of three days to reach the Eternal Twilight Lower Realm.
On the other hand, if one attempted to travel solo with their own body, then it would take around a year to reach, but chances are they would end up dead if they weren’t an Empyrean or Autarchs.
After all, there was no or scarce heaven and earth energy in space. If Monarchs and Sovereigns tried to travel using their energy alone, then they would quickly run out of fuel and become stranded, so they must take pauses occasionally and absorb energy to rejuvenate. Otherwise, they would absolutely die in space unless they could be saved by a passing ship. However, would ships even bother to stop midway?
The answer was no.
Therefore, anyone below the Empyrean Stage and Autarch Stage wouldn’t dare to realm travel solo.
At least, they needed to use a Sovereign Grade Construct filled with a huge amount of fuel, otherwise known as Transcendent Crystals, in order to be able to reach the realm faster.
“You two are women, right?”
Suddenly, the tall, lanky man left his seat and arrived before Evelynn and Zenova Artoria. He bent his hips and lowered his head, trying to look behind the obscurity of their hood, but he couldn’t see, which caused him to cackle.
“There’s no way you two are men with that kind of curves. What? Did you think your black robes could hide those wonderful assets when you’re seated?”
He shook his head, sighing, “I don’t know why two women would decide to smuggle goods when you can latch onto a man and leech him instead. Or are we trying to hide our identities? Not anyone could afford the price of this hidden compartment, you know.”
“Second brother, shut up. If they don’t want to reveal their faces, then let them be.” Told the bulky man as he wiped his ear with his pinky finger.
“Perhaps they’re very ugly.”
“Pfft. Hahaha!~ Big brother, you’re ruthless.”
The lanky man laughed, but in the end, he returned to his seat and sat back, looking bored.
“Unknown beauty. Fairy of my dreams, please show me your face.”
“You know, you could be one of my relatives.”
“If you aren’t, I’ll make you one.”
Ten minutes later, though, he tried to flirt with them, and it just so happened to be directed to Zenova Artoria.
Evelynn didn’t know what to say.
This kind of pursuit could be quite common and didn’t seem harmful, but no one liked to be constantly pestered, and they were keeping their mouth shut, indicating that they didn’t want to communicate. Despite it, that lanky man was going to try to take advantage as he moved closer and closer, sometimes kneeling directly before Zenova Artoria.
“Oh heavens. Look at your shoes. I bet this is worth at least a few million High-Level Immortal Crystals judging by its grade.”
Suddenly, he looked at Zenova Artoria’s shoes and reached out his hand, trying to touch it.
However, Zenova Artoria finally moved her feet back.
“Enough~”
“…”
Her voice, filled with disgust, echoed around the hidden compartment.
It made the twenty-eight people silent as they stared at her in shock, never having heard such a seductive voice in their lives despite the irritation behind it.
The lanky man also looked stumped.
He slowly raised his hands, looking like he meant no harm, and took a step to the side to walk away, but suddenly, the bulky man beside Zenova Artoria reached out his hand and pulled her hood down, revealing a beauty that jolted out their souls.
A pair of beautiful crimson eyes glared at him, putting him in a trance.
Her black hair dropped over her shoulder as the hood came off, and her appearance was masked behind a crimson veil. However, anyone could see the otherworldly beauty behind the semi-transparency of the veil.
At that moment, there was pin-drop silence. Even the sound of thrusters faded into the back of their minds as they looked at her lovely face.
“…”
Zenova Artoria’s bosoms heaved as she took a deep breath, but the scent of those men around her made her even more disgusted. She raised her hand and pulled back the hood over her head, continuing to remain silent.
“Brothers, we can’t hand over such beauties to space bandits, right? I mean, what are the chances this smuggling cargo ship is going to be raided?”
“Pretty high…”
The lanky man echoed while the bulky man suddenly stood up, his expression appearing to be no longer easygoing.
“Be obedient. You won’t get harmed if you cooperate. I want her as I could feel her blood resonating with mine.”
The five-foot-tall Sovereign actually stood up and gazed at Evelynn, the other black-robed woman.
The other twenty or so men also stood up from their seats, inching closer to Zenova Artoria and Evelynn. They all smiled as they could see the women shivering under their black robes, which meant they most likely lacked the power to defend themselves.
Some even already couldn’t suppress their hard-ons, the length of their spears creating a big dent against their pants.
“Ah, with senior brother here, we are most reassured.”
The bulky man cupped his hands towards the Sovereign, who was five feet tall. He appeared to be the most powerful among them.
“I guess we don’t need to stand on ceremony then~”
Zenova Artoria finally stood up, removing her black robe as she threw away her black robe, revealing the crimson-purple robe underneath that perfectly accentuated her curves.
Her seductive, melodious voice stunned the men, and they started to blush until their ears, as though they had no experience. Her voluptuous figure and confident voice only made them more charmed.
“Damn, you’re a prostitute? Why didn’t you say it sooner? But I loved the tension!”
The bulky man looked even more riled. He reached out his hand, grasping Zenova Artoria’s wrist.
Outside, the cargo ship traversed space, making its way to the Eternal Twilight Lower Realm peacefully without any changes in the route or encountering spatial storms. At this rate, it would reach its destination a bit earlier than expected.
*BOOOM!~*
But suddenly, the entire ship exploded into a furious burst of annihilative dark crimson flames soaring to the heavens.
