Divine Emperor of Death - Chapter 3817: Encircled?
“Yes!”
Everyone reacted in an affirming manner towards Autarch Elluro Coldwing’s words.
Apart from the loss of their inheritors, they were all burning with greed to obtain karmic virtue. Even the Supreme One had declared that it would allow them to undergo a Heavenly Water Tribulation, so what else needs to be said?
However, it was a pity that the Divine Emperor of Death was nowhere to be seen.
It was really strange for someone to hide so effectively but hearing that he was proficient in Death Laws and was a former assassin that had ties to the assassin organization Ghost Tear Hall, they understood finding him wouldn’t be easy.
Some murmured that Autarch Elluro Coldwing was being dishonorable in targeting the Divine Emperor of Death’s friends but the majority was of the mind that those fools dared to engage in a friendly relationship with an Anarchic Divergent and deserved to die.
Supporting or hiding a Divergent was a severe crime under the rule of the heavens and the resulting karmic burden would make their lives difficult, so what needs to be said about those fools willingly aligning themselves with an Anarchic Divergent?
They were all unsympathetic or they couldn’t care less about three people when they had millions and billions to look after.
Autarch Elluro Coldwing’s nonchalant expression finally had a hint of a smile.
“The Heaven’s Warriors did a nearly perfect job in hunting a Divergent titled the Thunder Divergent in the Thunderforge Citadel Lower Realm. They’re from the Divine Sentinel Order and their actions have brought harmony to the realm and hence, will be handsomely rewarded by the Heavenly Guardian Consortium.”
“We graciously accept it.”
In another corner, a group of people with majestic heavenly undulations went down on one knee and cupped their hands. Although there were no rewards at the moment, they were reacting to the mandate of the Heavenly Guardian Consortium with respect. They knew their rewards would arrive sooner or later since it takes a lot of time to travel from the Greater Realm to the Lower Realms.
Autarch Elluro Coldwing nodded.
“Everyone did a great job in quelling chaos from the trillions of people arriving in the Third Layer. I can’t even begin to expound on how important dealing with this matter was. I am proud of your tireless efforts to record the names of those who teleported here from the First Haven World and many more places and compile them into a family register to accept them into your ranks. You all play a vital role in maintaining order and ensuring the overall safety of our realms.”
“Let’s not forget about arresting the inheritors and hunting at least one Divergent from that heaven-forsaken world. Without all your people’s help, it would’ve been very difficult for us Heaven’s Warriors to keep track of things.”
“…”
Everyone nodded, smiling as they were appreciated.
“However, our work is far from over.”
Autarch Elluro Coldwing continued, “The influx of souls has not only brought chaos to the lands but also hidden threats. Natural disasters like spacequakes frequently occurred during the teleportation incident. After that, countless lifeforms ran amok and some of them were even at Void Class Calamity. We had a hard time subjugating most of them but some managed to escape and hide.”
“We must not let our guard down.”
Autarch Elluro Coldwing raised his hand and touched his chest, “However, those dangers are still within our strength to deal with but in these recent days, it has come to my attention that we have lost three powerful Heaven’s Warriors to assassins from the Heavenly Blight Hall.”
Abruptly, a chorus of murmurs began to echo throughout the floors as though it was the clashing of rocks and stones. Autarch Elluro Coldwing’s words made them wonder why normal people or non-Heaven’s Warriors were not targeted by this assassin organization.
They knew assassin organizations as many were present throughout the realms, some new, some old, some masking as new and some pretending to be old.
They were many types but none were foolish enough to challenge Heaven’s Warriors.
The assassins wouldn’t even go their way and the Heaven’s Warriors wouldn’t deal with them since it was considered a worldly affair amidst the cultivation world and not outright evil although they were still looked down upon and wouldn’t be tolerated in sacred places.
So for the Heavenly Blight Hall to solely target Heaven’s Warriors, it truly widened their horizons and made them suspect if this organization belonged to a Divergent.
Autarch Elluro Coldwing took a deep breath and exhaled.
“I’m furious to say that while we’re trying to hunt the Divergents springing up from the First Haven World, those Heavenly Blight Hall assassins took advantage of our mission to catch us off guard and stab us in the back. Such a cowardly action will not be tolerated, so I ask the Divine Sentinel Order and the Sacred Crusade League to deal with those assassins.”
“Yes!~~~”
The two Heaven’s Warriors group did not reject but instantly accepted.
They also looked cold and furious since this was undoubtedly an act of war against them. They definitely can’t tolerate it!
Autarch Elluro Coldwing nodded firmly.
“While the two groups takes care of the Heavenly Blight Hall, we will not sit still and wait for the evil incarnate to appear to save his vile friends. The other groups will form a perimeter in the Eastern Strata. Our Mystic Diviners have divined that the Divine Emperor of Death is somewhere in the Eastern Strata and most likely in the Eastern Central Strata, so we will also combine our efforts and form an expansive perimeter with the Eternal Twilight Lower Realm as the center and close in, clearing all locations and anomalies until we gather at the Eternal Twilight Lower Realm.”
“At that point, the Divine Emperor of Death would be either in the Eternal Twilight Lower Realm right in our grasp or he would have escaped.”
“Isn’t it better to just send some forces to the Eternal Twilight Lower Realm?” The acting leader of the Divine Sentinel Order asked.
Autarch Elluro Coldwing’s gaze flashed, “Of course, we can’t also exclude the possibility of him being in nearby Minor Realms or the Lower Realms in the Upper Strata and Lower Strata near the Eternal Twilight Lower Realm, so we will check all that before converging in the Eternal Twilight Lower Realm.”
“Besides, our Heaven’s Warriors went there first but didn’t find any clues other than having some harvest in the birth of a true ruler.”
His lips curled into a genuine smile before it went cold again, “Regardless, a Mystic Diviner’s divination also faces imbalance in time when divining a matter at this scale with little to no karmic clues, so the Divine Emperor of Death might arrive there later instead of now but a battle will be inevitable if we meet, so prepare yourselves for a life and death battle since killing an Anarchic Divergent of that scale is never easy.”
“I see.”
The acting leader of the Divine Sentinel Order nodded lightly.
He didn’t seem to place the Anarchic Divergent in his eyes as his undulation wasn’t that bad when compared to Autarch Elluro Coldwing as he also was an Autarch.
What was the need to worry about an Immortal King Anarchic Divergent?
If he underwent his Immortal Emperor Heavenly Tribulation, that would be basically committing suicide as he would be announcing his location to the entire realm. People may not be able to discover if it’s in a vast secluded region but the realm rulers will be able to tell.
He turned to look at the rulers seated on the third floor as he panned his gaze and cupped his hands to them.
“We’re heavily depending on the Realm Rulers to also help in the search, especially the Eternal Twilight Lower Realm, Earth Dragon Lower Realm, Three-Headed Hydra Lower Realm, Fire Phoenix Lower Realm, Thundering Peak Lower Realm, Righteous Horn Lower Realm, Ivory Moon Sanctuary Lower Realm, Mirage Sands Lower Realm, Vigilant Stormbreaker Lower Realm, Silvermoon Sovereign Lower Realm, Thunderforge Citadel Lower Realm, Serpent’s Embrace Lower Realm, Starlight Jade Wolf Lower Realm and all the Minor Realms nearby.”
“Of course.”
“Leave it to us.”
“This is not something to worry about as it could easily be done.”
The Realm Rulers reassured Heaven’s Warriors, causing them all to nod.
Out of the forty-eight realms, over a quarter had pledged their help. They all appeared to be confident in this hunt as though it was merely a leisurely practice for them.
