Divine Enchantress: Night Emperor’s Beloved Consort - Chapter 72
Jiang Ying Yue just looked at the corpse coldly. She knew that once his family knew that she killed the young master, his family would chase after her and she didn’t want that.
She was still too weak and only by getting rid of all possible proofs would she be safe.
Jiang Ying Yue looked at the lady in red next to her whose clothes were torn. With a thought, an outer robe appeared on her hands. Next, like a gentleman, she draped the outer robe over the lady in red’s shoulders, stunning her in the process.
Jiang Ying Yue must’ve forgotten that the lady should have a robe in her own space ring too then.
Jiang Ying Yue spoke in a caring manner. “You can get a cold if you just wear your inner clothes so just wear this for the time being alright? Plus we don’t want any other males to see your body right?”
‘Your body is so curvy ah. Even I as a girl almost get nosebleed.’ Jiang Ying Yue lamented in her heart.
The lady in red was touched. She looked at Jiang Ying Yue with stars in her eyes. “Thank you.”
She then wore the robe properly and tying it securely around her body. She looked at Jiang Ying Yue with gratitude. “Thank you for saving me today. If weren’t for you, who knew what would’ve happened to me just now.”
Jiang Ying Yue nodded. “You’re welcome. Anyone would do the same thing when seeing something like that.”
The lady just laughed in her heart. Anyone? Perhaps only she would say that. If anyone else saw what happened just now, they might run away or pretend they didn’t hear anything.
Jiang Ying Yue looked at the lady before her. She remembered the look on the lady’s face just now when she said that she would rather die than submit. Her actions and the determination on her eyes told Jiang Ying Yue that she was speaking the truth. She was really ready to die than to be r**ed.
She admired her courage and bravery. Who is not scared of death? But the lady would rather die than submit! Jiang Ying Yue loved that!
The lady in red thought a bit before introducing herself. “To show my gratitude to you, I would like to introduce myself and invite you over to our camp. My name is Han Jinghua.”
‘So her name was Han Jianghua. Ah! The name was as beautiful as her. ‘Leek flower’-that name suits her a lot!’
Out of habit, Jiang Ying Yue stretched out her hand to introduce herself. “Hi. I am Jiang Ying Yue and he is Liu Weimin.”
Liu Weimin frowned. Why would she introduce him too?
Han Jinghua looked at Jiang Ying Yue’s hand in confusion but she didn’t ask anything. She concluded that that must’ve been a way to introduce oneself to others. Thus, she copied her gesture and stretched out one hand too.
Jiang Ying Yue took her hand and shook it.
Jiang Ying Yue seemed to remember something. “Ah right! Before we send you back to your camp, let me do something first.”
Jiang Ying Yue then asked Liu Weimin to gather the corpses together and once it was done, she took out a bottle of powder from her space ring and pour it onto the corpses. In no time at all, the corpses started melting into a form of powder before the wind carried it away.
Jiang Ying Yue nodded in satisfaction and said to Han Jinghua. “Let’s go Miss Jinghua.”
Both Han Jinghua and Liu Weimin were still surprised over seeing the corpses melting before their eyes with just mere powder but nevertheless, they recovered quickly and Liu Weimin showed the way.
While walking, Liu Weimin told her what exactly happened back then.
Han Jinghua was sleeping in her room when she was kidnapped. The young master wasn’t there but Pan and the others were.
She wanted to shout but she felt so weak. She could only stare at them while remembering the road they took. She didn’t even know how they could infiltrate their camp and kidnap her.
After a while, she felt her strength returning and she started kicking and shouting at the kidnappers but it was too late. They were far from her camp and the young master had already joined them then.
So that was when they stopped at the area near Jiang Ying Yue’s camp and everything else that happened after that was already seen by Jiang Ying Yue.
The group walked for about an hour before they could hear someone shouting Han Jinghua’s name.
“Hua’er where are you?”
“Hua’er don’t scare me.”
“Han Jianghua! Answer me!”
Han Jinghua’s eyes started glistening. She looked excited and sad too. She had been through so much tonight and was really tired. Hearing her brother’s voice calmed her down by a lot.
The trio saw light coming from in front of them. The light looked like they used Light Pearl to illuminate their surrounding.
Jiang Ying Yue nodded at Hua Jinghua and the latter immediately ran towards the area where her brother was while shouting.
“Brother I’m here! I’m here!”
Han Jianyu heard his sister’s voice and turned towards her voice’s direction.
He saw a figure in white running towards him and he hurriedly ran to her before catching that figure into his embrace.
God knew how worried he was of her safety.
He was outside their camp when he suddenly felt super sleepy and he fell asleep right away. Upon waking up, the first thing he did was to check her tent he found her missing.
An ill foreboding arose in his heart and he had been looking for her since then.
Han Jianyu hugged his sister as tightly as he could to calm his erratic heart down.
Han Jinghua hugged her brother too. “Brother Jiangyu, don’t worry anymore. I am here.”
After awhile, Han Jianyu released his sister and started checking her body. “Are you okay? Where did you go? Why are you wearing a different robe?”
Han Jinghua looked at her brother and said in an aggrieved tone. “Let’s go back to the camp first and I’ll tell you about it there.”
She then turned to Jiang Ying Yue and Liu Weimin who had been standing like a statue since just now. Han Jinghua was embarrassed. “Sorry that you had to see this. Let’s go to the camp first shall we?”
Only then did Han Jianyu saw Jiang Ying Yue and Liu Weimin.
They- Weren’t they the same people at the restaurant the other day?
Jiang Ying Yue just nodded at Han Jianyu. She just wanted to send Han Jianghua to safety. She didn’t want to sit and talk or anything. She was tired.
Thus, she rejected Han Jinghua’s offer. “It’s okay. I just wanted to send you back safely. Now that you have met your brother, we should get going first. Take care.”
Han Jinghua wanted to ask her to stay but she didn’t want to force Jiang Ying Yue. Although unresolved, she could only agree. “Alright. Thank you again for everything. Have a safe journey back.”
Jiang Ying Yue and Liu Weimin nodded before walking away using their qinggong. They were really fast!
Han Jianyu had been confused since just now but he knew that his sister would tell him everything once they were back to the camp so he kept his mouth mum.
It took only approximately 30 minutes for Jiang Ying Yue and Liu Weimin to reach their camp. Just now, they didn’t use their qinggong because Han Jinghua told them that her qinggong was extremely weak thus they could only drop the idea and walked in a fast pace.
