Divinity Modded Core - Chapter 3 Divinity Village Of The Eternal Forest 2
It’s been two months since we arrived in this world.
Shade is now a companion to the village, he doesn’t try to bite us anymore and occasionally helps out every now and then. But we have developed magic, as my companions call the energy we found. So far we developed multiple spells based on the cores. I made the Exo Core that is placed on the chest to help with magic manipulation, I also gave out visors for our group that identified types of energy. It also marks the location of what core is formed on their bodies so they want accidentally use the wrong spell.
Constructing spells is a difficult process from the looks of it, Marone and Lassie have joined me in developing a Cast Device, So far we have come up with a prototype magic manipulation device. We call it a wand despite it looking just like a phone. I also found out that I can make the different types of magic energy using electrical energy. I feel like this has brought me one step closer to the Infinity Core. It’s surprising how united our village is, maybe it’s due to our previous world but we are close together and constantly working on the betterment of the entire village instead of just ourselves. I’ve also developed a radar that constantly scans our surroundings. Anyone wearing a Mute Core can’t be seen on it, but I don’t think anyone else but us has those. So we are able to keep track of our surroundings for dangers at all times.
6 months since we arrived in this world.
Shade has moved into the village, bringing along a pack of all things. When they pack tried to hurt us Shade growled at them and brought them to heel. We’ve slowly managed to adopt the wolf pack into our ranks. It looked like the poor wolves were starving, we fed them immediately.
On other news MEAT PLANTS ARE GREAT! We experimented with the meat plants and we were eventually able to get it to provide other meats besides beef. Now we have access to bacon, ham, and chicken! We did have to separate the chicken plants. But thing are working out great! We’ve been on plant meals ever since we ran out of MREs now that we have variety we have been able to make even better food. Our next project is to get Sea Food plants. I don’t get what peoples obsession with shrimp is. On another note we’ve started work on spices. We can’t seem to make a salt plant, but we manage to make a good alternative. It’s like we are vegans but heavily cheating!
I now have a companion. One of the wolf cubs won’t leave me alone. It’s not trying to hurt me or anything but it just won’t stop following me, eventually I relented and started to take care of her, but why me of all people?! So now I’ve practically adopted her, since she’s female I’ve named her Nora. She’s a great companion when I’m thinking at least. She’s also helped a lot with my study into the magic energies. It seems the cores form in the wolves as well. apskdjak;sjd “GET OFF THE DATA PAD NORA!”
We have found a problem though. While the Katie and Jerry were exploring they found evidence of civilization, a primitive civilization, but a civilization none the lest. We may be super human, but there’s only thirty of us. Who knows how many magicians this civilizations has.
Everyone is now wielding a energy blade just in case now we run into problems now. I’ve reworked the release mechanism so it’s easier to use. I also changed the safe mode. Finally managed to make it where we could control the size of the blade. On that note I made myself a hammer filled with energy cores. I hit someone with this thing it would feel like they were hit with a tank at high velocity. I tested it out on the ground and absolutely terrified Nora, who I managed to coax with bacon. Took me forever to fill that hole with dirt.
I have started working on a super armor for everyone. I was reading a comic book about Iron Man, it was in one of out ENTERTAINMENT marked boxes. Then I decided I wanted to make us suits of armor. My tech buddy Jennifer was on board with the idea. Testing has been going great in my opinion. Although people say the hole in the wall is contradictory to that statement. I believe it is a mark of progress that we should preserve forever! The others didn’t agree with that statement and we patched it up though. However we did get a new weapon out of this at least. Phasers are awesome in my opinion.
