Divinity Modded Core - Chapter 4 Divinity Village Of The Eternal Forest 3
9 months since we arrived in this world.
It’s winter, we can can tell. We’ve made warmers over our area and our village is warm despite the weather out side. It really annoyed us though when the snow turned int mist upon touching our warming zones. We proceed to make a warm shield covering our village. The wolves were thankful we think, they kinda enjoy staying here with us. On that note we’ve gathered more animals of the forest here, after we started to care for the wolves it got easier to adopt more of the animals around here. We also found a unique animal, one that felt like it was made out of jello. We call it a slime. We have many different colored slime’s in our village. They are very intelligent, but they have no knowledge, according to what I was able to investigate about them. They are smart but they can’t store information. So I made artificial brains for them. A small chip capable of storing large amounts of information. They’ve slowly started to evolve due to this and are diversifying greatly. A large amount of them like to listen in when when me and the others talk science and magic.
This has led me to working on my first Artificial Intelligence. It’s always been my dream to make an AI and a Infinity Core. The Infinity Core is at a roadblock currently so I decided to take a break from it and attack it with a new perspective later. I haven’t figured out what to name the AI when I’m done, but I’m excited. With any luck I should finish the AI in three to five years!
Two years later
I keep getting new projects as time passes due to us finding new things. Aka, Shade turned into a humanoid in the middle of the village. You can imagine how shocked we were when a giant wolf transformed into a naked human in the middle of the village. Nora has gotten bigger, I imagine Nora will transform into a humanoid as well. I’ve scanned Shade and his transformation seems to be due to his transformation core. The cores within the wolves bodies seem to grow as time passes, turning the wolves into humanoids. We call the evolution Humanis, aka Almost Human. Jordan has put all of her time into teaching Shade about humanity now. Jimmy is annoyed that his girlfriend is spending so much time with another man, to the point where he is always there when Jordan is teaching Shade.
On other notes, we have a hologram displaying the forest now, I’ve upgraded our Radar tech with Echo Cores, and Anti-Mute Cores. We have a radar displaying up to 3,000 meters. We have detailed locations on most of the residents of the forest now. Including another Humanoid race. We are not sure if it’s a Humanis race or a Human race as we haven’t initiated contact. We asked Shade about them but he said he didn’t know a thing about them.
I’m joining Nick and Kenny on an diplomatic mission/investigative mission to figure out who these humanoids were. There’s only 358 of them, so we aren’t that worried about meeting them. We are fully decked out in the Spartan Elite Armor we made. It looks like a blue and white Iron man suit. We could fly there, but we believe we will frighten the humanoids if we do that. We figured out a translation magic though so we aren’t that worried about language differences. We plan to set out next week to meet the native group.
Nora has gotten really attached to me, it’s really weird. She growled at Jennifer for simply touching me on the arm to get my attention. I’ve been trying to get her to play nice at least. For some reason she has taken my arm as a her own personal place and makes me carry her constantly. When I try to refuse she gives me puppy eyes, basically forcing me to pick her up. I’m going to bring her with me to meet the natives, so I’ve managed to convince her not to attack anyone there unless I say so. She did not seem happy about it, but I think she will follow my instructions.
