Don’t Fall In Love With Me Mr. Ceo - Chapter 67
Mia was tired.
She was not aware that one needed stamina in order to shop. Her way of shopping is quite simple. She enters the department store section where you can find everything. Clothes, shoes, shirts and bags that are all found in the ladies section.
Her ways are simple.
1. Find the types of clothes she needs.
2. Select the color and design she likes.
3. Select the size and see if it fits.
4. Buy it.
She does not spend the whole day trying out different outfits in different stores. She has decided beforehand what she needed to buy, therefore, making her trip to the mall shorter. An hour is more than enough to finish her shopping as her clothes are simple and affordable.
She now knows that women who go on dates are like soldiers. They are preparing for a battle and one must have a battle plan to conquer their enemy, in this case, the male. She found new respect for the women who took their time to take care of themselves by maintaining and taking care of their appearance. She did not understand why most women do this before but now she can grasp and make sense of some of it.
Her newfound appreciation had given her determination to change her point of view little by little. She was dragging her tired feet from all the walking they did today. She looked at Stephanie who was happily walking like a certain energetic bunny in a commercial. How she wished she was that energetic too.
Stephanie noticed the silent dead weight that she was lugging around the mall and looked at said luggage. Mia looked tired with sweat pouring from her forehead and her panting like a dog suffering from heat. “Don’t worry this is our last stop,” Stephanie said while pulling out a handkerchief from her bag. She gave the handkerchief to Mia to wipe away her sweat.
“Thank You,” Mia said lifelessly as she wiped away her sweat.
They reached the third floor of the mall. In front of them was a shop with a green neon lights sign that said “wellness center” with big bold letters.
Stephanie went inside the shop as the electronic doors opened as if welcoming their arrival. Two ladies approached them and welcomed them in the establishment.
“Welcome, Ms. White. What can we do for you today?” One of the women asked.
“I want the special package for me and my friend,” Stephanie stated without looking at the services that they offer.
“Please follow me.” One of the women led them inside a private room. Mia was curiously looking around at the apparatus inside the establishment. The ones she could see are some women having their nails done.
They continued walking and one section was composed of hairdressers and makeup artists. Some are behind closed doors so she did not know what the other services were offered.
Stephanie tugged at Mia’s sleeve to get her attention and said, “This is our last stop. We’re just here to relax and calm your nerves. A little relaxation and pampering would do you some good.”
Stephanie winked at her friend as the staff led them to a private room with two massage tables inside. The room was large and the ambiance was very relaxing. There was a certain aroma permeating in the room but Mia was not sure what kind of scent it was.
After which, the two spent the rest of the hours inside the Wellness Center and took their time to relax. Mia fell asleep as the woman’s hands worked her magic. She heard the woman saying something about her body being stiff and something else, but she was already in dreamland.
The melodic chimes that they played assisted in her sleepiness, which to her sounded like a lullaby accompanied by the melodious voice of the woman while talking to her.
Mia did not know how long she slept but she was woken up by Stephanie.
“Our facials are next. I did not want to wake you up seeing you were sleeping but we are on a tight schedule. Maybe you can sleep there too,” Stephanie jokingly said while going to two comfortable looking chairs that look more like lazy boys.
Once Mia’s back lain on the comfortable chair, she realized how much she has missed out on being able to experience things. This was another place that she would not have visited if it wasn’t for Stephanie’s insistence.
