Don’t Fall In Love With Me Mr. Ceo - Chapter 68
Mia and Stephanie both came out totally refreshed and pampered. Their skins were glowing like a well-polished mirror, with a touch, one can feel it’s softness, like a babies buttocks. Mia especially felt relaxed as her first experience at a Well Center was beyond her expectations.
She had negative thoughts about these kinds of places knowing that women came here to spend so much money and time at something they could live without. But now she realizes, once having the pleasure to experience it, it was not just to a way to maintain one’s beauty, it was also a way for women to relax and enjoy themselves. Maybe celebrate the fact that they are women and have the right to pamper themselves once in a while.
It can also be a way to bond with friends. She was not fond of partying and drinking, however, she could not deny the fact that this experience was something she would like to do with Stephanie in the future.
It was a long day and Mia felt that it was a day well spent. She looked at Stephanie’s face to thank her but the other person has already walked away. Mia started walking to catch up with her friend as both arrived at the salon section of the center.
“This is our last destination,” Stephanie said in her usual cheerful voice while looking for someone.
“There you are! I want you to meet my friend,” Stephanie said while grabbing another person in the salon.
The woman was around her mid-30s with stylish blazing red hair and a fashion style that could only be described as “fashion forward.” Mia was taken aback by surprise as the friend that Stephanie introduced looked androgynous. She was not sure how to address the person so she bowed her head as a polite greeting.
The woman instantly smiled as she saw Stephanie and gave her a hug. “Stephanie my dear, are you here because you agree to become a star? You won’t be disappointed, I’ll take care of you. I have connections in the industry.” She said boastfully and energetically.
“No Hana, I came here to ask for help. My friend Mia needs to get her hair cut and a little knowledge on how to use make-up that will accentuate her beautiful face,” Stephanie said with a blooming smile on her face as she described what Hana should do with Mia.
“She is your friend. Let me see.” Hana approached Mia and looked at her features, from her hair, face and posture. She touched her chin to get a closer look and said. “Not bad Stephanie. She is like a blank canvass that is waiting to be colored to become a masterpiece.”
Mia was surprised with Hana’s words. She believed that her looks were ordinary, so she thought she was saying this to make her feel better. All she could do was look down and shyly look away from the piercing eyes of Hana.
“Don’t be shy my dear. Believe in Hana’s magical hands that are able to transform even the most plain of men to a queen.” Hana proudly said.
“What does she mean?” Mia asked Stephanie in a whisper. She was not sure if Hana would be offended if she asks out loud.
“Hana here is a beautician. She is well-known in the circle, especially in the showbiz industry. People line up to her salon everyday but she’s very picky with her customers. She’s talking about drag queens because she is also active in that circle.” Stephanie explained as best as she could or Mia to easily understand the situation.
Mia finally understood what Hana was talking about. She would appreciate the help since she was willing. She looked at Hana with sincere eyes and said, “Please take care of me.”
“Come, my dear. Sit here and the transformation will begin.” She touched Mia’s hair and to see the length and style best suited for her almond like face. “Your hair is smooth and silky. You only need to properly take care of your hair to maintain its healthy luster.”
Mia wanted to say something but did not in the end. She said she’ll believe in her friend and she will do what is told without questions asked. Mia’s hair was cut by the local salon that she had visited since her younger years. They would only trim it and cut it straight and that was it. She preferred to tie her hair in a ponytail so she thought it was not necessary to style it any further.
“You see my dear. Hair is something that will be able to accentuate one’s beauty. If your hair is cut to emphasize what is to be seen and hide what is to be hidden, then it will change the entirety of your face.” Hana led Mia to the shampooing area after looking at Mia’s hair for a bit. She passed Mia to her assistant and went to Stephanie to chat.
