Don’t Misunderstood! - Chapter 116

“What could I even do? He doesn’t like me and from what it looks like, he might have fallen for someone else already” Calix replied while grabbing on the railings

His dejected eyes stared down while a downcast expression appeared on his face. “I chased him multiple times and he rejected me and now… he’s even on a date” Calix continues

Maybe, strangers really have a strange power over us. There are things that we cannot say to someone no matter how close we are to them. However, those hard to tell things sometimes were too easy to say when you are talking to a stranger

Just look at Calix right now, if Cain were to ask him, he might not give an answer yet he easily spoke whatever inside him with the presence of a stranger

While Calix was still dwelling on his sorrow, he didn’t expect that the girl would actually hit his back and she didn’t hold back at all!

Calix can’t help but hiss from the pain. He even wondered if his back would bruise due to the force exerted by the hit he had received

“Aww! What was that for?” Calix cried out. He was just standing there without doing anything bad, what did he do to deserve such a powerful slap in the back?

“I told you, even countries could be conquered! Even husbands and wives would break up because of a third party what more for people that only started dating?! Go, go, go, catch the enchanting man of yours!” The girl said quite loudly, earning a lot of attention to herself. Some people even gasped in shock

Well, why wouldn’t they? This woman’s words were just… too much

“Y-you’re so black-hearted” Calix commented in shock. He stared at that woman with an incredulous look on his face

Wouldn’t people normally discourage other people from snatching someone’s partner? However, this woman was completely different!

Not only did she stop Calix, but she was also pushing him to do a bad deed

“Meh! Too much kindness would kill you. If you really want someone, fight for them to death! If they still don’t want to submit, lock them up or something!” The woman replied and Calix felt his back getting colder

This woman… she’s dangerous!

“T-thank you!” Calix said fearfully before running away. Although that woman helped him, she was still terrifying!

While Calix was running away, the woman’s words rang in his mind. Should he really…

Calix certainly doesn’t want to see Klein with another man. That would break his heart too much. It might even become a permanent scar on his heart

Most of the time, everyone’s first time would mean a great deal to them. Since Klein is the first person that Calix ever likes, kisses, and make out with, that man occupies a large space in his heart

If possible, Calix even wants Klein to be his ‘endgame’. The one that he would end up with until his old age

Calix was tempted to forcefully snatch Klein away but… is that really the right thing?

What if after doing everything he can, he still failed? Wouldn’t that just hurt him more than before?

Calix was in such a deep thought and he ultimately slowed down. His eyes were looking in a straight line yet his peripheral vision still caught something

Calix’s foot immediately hits the break and he even walked a few steps backward

Inside the toy store, Calix can see Klein. He cannot see who Klein is talking with as the shelves were blocking that person

Also, Calix could only see Klein’s side profile which was undoubtedly still very handsome

“Is he really on a date?” Calix murmured after seeing that the guy he cannot see handed a human-size teddy bear to Klein

Calix grit his teeth hard and clenches his fists to the point that veins were already popping in them

His face was red from jealousy and at this moment, that woman’s words from earlier rang around inside his head again

Even countries could be conquered… even husbands and wives would break up because of a third party…

As if some sort of demon whispered at him, Calix was itching to barge inside that store and take Klein with him

Still, his remaining reason prevented Calix from doing that. He suppressed his desires until Klein… Klein… he… he smiled while hugging that teddy bear!

Since Calix’s mind was clouded with jealousy, he didn’t notice that Klein was not genuinely smiling. It was only a sarcastic smile

As a result, the last string of his patience broke and the demon inside him consumed him

To hell with everything! Calix really can’t let Klein like another man that is not him!

With large and heavy footsteps, Calix stride inside the toy store. The aura he releases made the people inside unconsciously avoid him

Silence reigned inside the store and the atmosphere turned weird. Klein notices that something feels wrong and when he turned his head to the side, he saw a familiar man charging straight at him

“Cal—” before Klein can even finish his word, a pair of strong and muscular arms already engulfed him. The only thing he could feel was that arms and that his body was rotating

“No!” Calix shouted loudly that made the innocent audience flinched hard

“W-what are…” Klein wants to ask what is wrong with Calix yet the man hugged him tighter

Calix literally buried Klein’s head into his chest as if he was worried that the man would vanish if he don’t do that

“Don’t go on dates! I don’t like it, I hate it! If you want to go on dates, just say it to me and I will go with you! Even if you don’t like me, I can accept that just please… d-don’t… it hurts. It really hurts!”

“I would do whatever you want, just don’t look at another guy! My heart can’t take it! Fuck it! I don’t even know what I am saying anymore. I’m not making any sense and I feel like I would accidentally bite my tongue any moment from now!”

Towards the end, Calix becomes frustrated. He doesn’t have any dating experience and he also doesn’t have a flowery mouth

He wants to say something that would capture people’s hearts but his words were simply too blunt. Not the type that would make someone’s heart flutter. It’s unable to give them butterflies in the stomach

Calix can’t help but curse himself for not having Cain’s ability to say words that are filled with too much sugar

“E-eh?” Klein doesn’t know what is happening. What is Calix even saying? Can someone please explain what is currently happening right now?

Seeing that he don’t receive much of a reaction, Calix pushed Klein’s body a bit away from him but his hands were still on top of the man’s shoulders

“Klein!” Calix said seriously to the point that Klein’s body stiffened. It feels as if he would melt from how intense Calix’s gaze at him was

“W-wha hik!” For the nth time, Klein choked on his own words because of Calix. He couldn’t help it, the way Calix was staring at him was too fiery. His defense mechanism of acting rudely towards Calix couldn’t even activate due to how intense the gaze he was receiving was

“I like you, I really do!” Calix said, deciding to go with a simple confession but…

“I know I’m being too blunt as if it was nothing but, believe me, I really do like you. If you want me to convey my feelings in a more romantic, novel-like manner, please give me some time. I would study to give you as many heart fluttering words as you like!”

All inch of Calix’s body was screaming seriousness. No one would believe that he was lying or joking at all. Everyone that watched his confession knows that he was telling the truth

His words were not the most beautiful to the ears but they were real… extremely real. It doesn’t need any sugar-coating to sound beautiful because it was real

It was so real that Klein don’t have the heart to react half-heartedly. However, this still came out of nowhere

Klein’s whole face turned red as his brain overheated. If this was an anime,  smokes might be coming out from his head already

Klein’s vision even became blurry and he felt as if he was a small mouse that got cornered

He opened his mouth multiple times but no words were coming out. Klein simply doesn’t know what to say

He was trying to search for suitable words but he cannot find any due to his malfunctioning mind

Calix bit his lower lip after a few moments have passed that he still hasn’t received a reply

Could it be… Klein still doesn’t want him? Is that it? Or maybe because of his date?

While thinking of that, Calix turned his head to look at whoever bastard tried to snatch Klein from him and….
