In normal times, Calix would just play the claw machine casually. Most of the time, he would succeed in getting his target

Calix already has the looks and brains, it would really be unfair if he is also good at this one

“T-that was just a w-warm up! I-I’ll get it next time!” Calix said in hopes to save himself some face

He can’t let his plan of impressing Klein fail

As such, Calix inserted more coins to start the machine again. However, he was even more nervous this time and the second try also failed him

“Pfft! Hahaha!” Klein’s laughter became louder than before and Calix almost turned into a human cherry

He feels so embarrassed, especially since Klein was laughing at him

“T-that’s also just a warm-up!” Calix bluffed as he don’t want to embarrass himself although they both know he was lying

Calix took out some more tokens, trying to put them inside the machine but they just fell to the ground

His hands were moving too nervously for him to successfully insert the token inside

Klein doesn’t want to laugh anymore but seeing how big of a mess Calix is was not making things easy for him

Calix panicking like that looks so cute in his eyes and Klein felt that he couldn’t get enough of that

The embarrassed man gritted his teeth before picking the tokens and furiously inserting them into the machine

The third, fourth, fifth, and so on tries happened but Calix failed on all of them. He literally exchanged quite a lot of money already for the tokens but he still failed in the end

Klein can’t laugh anymore even if he wants to as Calix just looks so pitiful and miserable

“Let me” Klein said before moving in front of the claw machine. He inserted the tokens and controlled the crane

In just a single try, Klein successfully got the caterpie stuffed toy and he shoved it into Calix’s chest

“My gift for you” Klein said with a smile that is both a genuine one and also has the intention of teasing

“But it’s you that want it” Calix said with a frown

“Just think that this stuffed toy has my presence whenever you miss me. How’s that sounds?” Klein asked with a wink

The situation was completely reversed as Klein took the lead this time before walking to another interesting arcade game

Calix was left for some time while staring at the stuffed toy. He doesn’t particularly find caterpie and cute pokemon but somehow, it looks way better than Pikachu and other cute pokemon

A smile unknowingly formed in Calix’s face as he stared at the stuffed toy lovingly. This is the first gift he got from Klein and he would surely treasure it

The girls in the arcade had a little discussion though their voice was not particularly quiet as Calix heard them

“Too? Bottom?” Calix thought. Although he was not gay before, he is also not oblivious

Those terms were common to hear nowadays and Calix knew what they meant

“W-wait, am I going to be the bottom?” Calix thought in dread, his chrysanthemum twitching a bit as if it could sense an imminent danger

Calix thought of doing it with Klein but he always imagined himself as the top and dominant one

However, with Klein’s personality… it doesn’t look impossible for him to want to be the top!

Calix would never forget that when Klein put his mind into it, he would literally try to dominate someone

An example was the bathroom scene where Klein pushed him against the wall seductively

The more Calix thinks, the more he can feel the danger and he gulped hard

“Hey, why are you still standing there?! Let’s compete!” Klein called out after seeing that Calix did not follow him

His voice returned Calix to reality and he immediately went towards the basketball machine

“Although I don’t really play basketball, I still know how” Klein said with the intention to compete with Calix again

“You’re more of a volleyball guy but I’m more of a basketball guy” Calix said with a grin. Deciding to throw his earlier thoughts aside

“We’ll see about that!”

The two started to compete with each other again. They put the required tokens inside the machine and the 1-minute timer appeared

The basketballs immediately became accessible as they grab them with their hands to shoot them inside the ring

Calix was confident in himself but after seeing how Klein played with his peripheral vision, his movements faltered

Klein… although he said that he doesn’t play basketball, he is still very good at shooting

At normal times, Calix could still win this match as he has more experience. However, his mental state is not good and he was hesitating after every move

In the end, Klein won the basketball match and Calix had an ugly expression on his face

Klein was happy with his victory and he dragged Calix into another game for another friendly competition

In the end, Klein won almost all the games but instead of being happy, he just frowned

Currently, the two of them were sitting in the free seats in the mall for those who want to rest

He likes ice cream in the cup better as he could put a large variety of toppings in it compared to the one in the cones

The only thing he liked in the cone was the bottom part that has concentrated chocolate or other flavors

“Young man, people as handsome as you are rare. Take this, it’s in the house!” The old and kind looking woman selling the ice cream said with a smile and Klein happily thanked her

He just ordered two ice creams but he was given three, this might be his lucky day!

However, when Klein turned to walk back to Calix, he saw that his ehem man is surrounded by several ladies

Klein almost completely clenched his hands and ruin the ice cream if he didn’t stop himself

‘Calm down, calm down’ Klein chanted in his head. Although that scene left a sour feeling in his heart, he already resolved his self to not be unreasonable

Calix gave him so much patience and it would be fair in his heart if Klein didn’t do the same

Fortunately, when Klein saw Calix’s face, he saw that the man was still daze. He wasn’t even paying attention to the ladies around him and eventually, they walked on their own

Klein heaved a sigh of relief at that. If Calix were to entertain them… just thinking about it already makes him angry

With large steps, Klein went towards Calix and stood in front of the man that did not notice him

“Here!” Klein said while pursing his lips. Although he doesn’t want to be paranoid, he still doesn’t feel good after seeing those women wanting to flirt with Calix

“T-thanks” Calix muttered in surprise. When did Klein buy ice cream? How come he didn’t notice that?

Seeing that Calix was still in that state, Klein puts the remaining two ice cream in his hand to the side

Klein lowered his head so that he and Calix are at eye level even though one of them was sitting and the other was standing
