Hearing what their groupmates were talking about him and Klein, Calix almost died from anger

What top? What bottom? The farthest he goes was kissing Klein with his tongue while his hands roamed his body!

How could they assume who was the top and who was the bottom like that?! Can’t they assume things only when Calix finally ate the ‘main course’?

Calix swears that there is something wrong with these people. If not for his temper, he might have beaten them already

“Pfft!” A hint of laughter accidentally came out from Klein. He wasn’t able to completely stop himself from laughing and he let out such a sound but in the next second, he immediately acted as if he never done anything

Calix shot Klein a gaze as he raises his brows. “Klein” he called out seriously and the man look at him with an innocent smile

“Yes?” He asks

“S-stop doing this. If you are angry, just say it. You’re making me feel as though I could lose my life any moment from now” Calix pleaded quite desperately at that

He would rather have Klein curse and beat him up than what he is currently showing!

It’s like Klein is making the prisoner feels good before he gives him the death sentence

“What are you talking about? I can’t follow?” Klein asks with a fake clueless look on his face

His expression seems to not understand whatever Calix was talking about but his eyes were saying a completely different thing

“S-stop! T-that’s creepy! Just punch me or whatever!” Calix cried out

“Silly, what are you even talking about?” Klein feigned ignorance as he pats Calix in the head. He did this multiple times until

“A-aww!” Calix complained from the pain as Klein hits his head too hard this time

“Oopps, sorry, I did not control my strength” Klein apologizes insincerely and Calix almost cried on the spot

Although he said that he would rather have Klein beat him up, he doesn’t want it to be done in this way!

Can’t Klein stop hurting him with that fake innocent smile? Both of them are completely aware that Klein is far from being innocent!

“K-Klein…” Calix called out pitifully but the man acted as if he doesn’t notice the dreadful emotions that he have

“Drink your milk tea, alright, enjoy it! I have to use the restroom!” Klein said before standing up from his seat and walks away to head to the restroom

As soon as he entered, Klein fished out his phone and dialed a number

“Heyooo!” Kayden greeted enthusiastically

“Have you bought what I ask you to?” Klein questioned and even through the call, he can feel Kayden nodding his head

“Yup, I brought it and you must make sure that my cousin’s birthday would be memorable. Buying this thing tarnishes my image you know? How can a guy as handsome as me actually buy such a thing?” Kayden replied while clicking his tongue. He was worried for his ‘image’ that was ruined by the thing that Klein ask him to buy

“Don’t worry, Calix will definitely engrave this birthday of his to his brain!” Klein reassured with a chuckle

“But what do you even want to do with a doll like this? It’s so ugly and feels like only witches would use it. I can’t even believe that someone would use this!” Kayden askes from curiosity

“Have you still not realized what I am planning? Aren’t you the one that told me a story of how you prank scare Calix? I ask you to buy a creepy doll and some candles, finish the puzzle” Klein replied while pursing his lips and he can feel realization dawning upon Kayden

“Kleeinnn! You devil! Hehehehe! If you succeed, this would really be hilarious!” Kayden laugh loudly as he holds his stomach and Klein only chuckled

After some time, Kayden finally recovered and he spoke again. “But are you sure that your plan is going to succeed? That prank was when he was still a kid and Calix isn’t as naive or as scaredy-cat as he was”

Kayden became skeptical. After all, people like Calix is not easily scared although the probability isn’t zero

“It will. I of course wouldn’t blindly try to scare him. There must be some kind of build-up first. And anyway, he is not someone that gets scared easily. How would he possibly think that someone was trying to prank him?” Klein replied confidently

The two talks for a few more minutes as they planned the ‘best birthday suprise’ before Klein went out of the restroom and wait for his turn of the shooting

Just like the previous days, Klein and the others spend their morning and afternoon in class and shooting the series

When nighttime arrives, the group suggested that they should take a break and eat some barbecue. In other words, a party with alcohol since tomorrow is a weekend

The whole group gathered in the courtyard again where the chairs and tables are already arranged along with the foods and alcoholic drinks

Klein sat with Cain and on the other side of the table were Liam, Calix, and Tristan. As for Shane, she went back to her room to look for something

“Our schedules are so packed. It has been a long time since I can drink like this” Cain commented with a pout

Since the shooting was almost every day, they naturally don’t have much time to do other things anymore

For a partygoer like Cain, that is definitely a thing worth his sadness

“I just want to rest!” Liam agreed. His lazy ass is not suitable for a busy schedule and he can only vent out his frustrations by eating, eating, and eating

“It’s not that bad” Calix has a different opinion. After all, it was a way for him to spend a lot of time with Klein and see him in medieval-style clothing. How could Calix not like shooting the series?

“Psh, I still want to beat you up!” Cain said in displeasure. To think that his Goddess fell into the hands of this ‘beast’ filled him with bitterness

Calix just rolled his eyes and didn’t give another comment. Who cares what Cain thinks? He was the one that got Klein. That is a feat that he is proud of although he cannot openly show it

Their group chatted and messed with each other for a while when a loud scream can suddenly be heard

“KYAAAAAHHHHH!”

The scream was piercing to the ears and it was the voice of someone familiar to them

From the distance,  everyone can see Shane running. She looks as if she was running from a serial killer and there were even some tears in her eyes

Everyone became worried and they stood up from their seats to approach Shane

“G-ghost! I-I saw a g-ghost!” Shane said loudly, fear visible all over her body and voice

“Ghost?”

“Are you dreaming?”

“How could there be a ghost here?”

Of course, almost no one believes Shane and they thought that she was just dreaming

“N-No! I really saw a ghost! T-the doll… I saw a doll floating towards me! Even the noise it made was eerie! Damn, no one told me that this place was haunted!” Shane explained but everyone still remained skeptical

After all, almost no people would easily believe that ghosts existed as long as they never saw them with their own eyes

Seeing that no one still hasn’t believed her, Shane shot Klein a look and asked him a question while aggressively holding his hands

“Klein, be honest! Is this mansion actually haunted?!” She asked desperately and all eyes locked on Klein

Klein looks around him with an uncomfortable expression on his face as he scratches the back of his head

“W-well…” Klein trailed and everyone waited for his next words

“M-my parents said that people that filmed here saw ghosts but I thought it was just a rumor. I mean, it’s possible that they are just making things up, right?” Klein explained and everyone held their breaths

“W-wait I don’t think that the mansion is haunted. The story of the ghost’s origin is ridiculous and I didn’t believe it!” Klein clarified as he can see everyone’s expressions changing

“S-story? What story?” Shane questioned aggressively and Klein’s face twitches before he explained

“I-I mean… this mansion is a preserved and maintained medieval type mansion. And you know, in that era, Nobles can even kill commoners”

“The original owner of this mansion is said to be a cruel one even amongst the Nobility. They said that the owner imprisoned and tortured children in here”

“After the torture, the owner would give the kids a doll as payment. The owner was sick in the mind and he had killed countless children in here”

“They said that one particular child was enraged by the Noble’s action and even until death, he still hasn’t forgiven him. I mean, who would believe that, right?”
