Don’t Misunderstood! - Chapter 142

Just as the lips of the two was about to touch each other, a creepy sound that give peopl a goosebump suddenly entered their ears

The sound was screeching to the ears and seems to have come from a a very young child

“Help… help… it hurts… please… please” the unknown voice said. It sounds so eeri and desperate as if the source was in an unimaginable pain

It was a voice more than enough to make people’s hair stand up from their bodies. With how silent the room was except for that kid’s voice, the effect it has was much bigger than it should have

Because of the sound, the romantic vibe in the air instantly vanishes as their bodies shake a bit from surprise

‘Nice self, way to ruin a rare moment. Kudos to me’ Klein thought, berating himself

That sound’s timing could not be more horrible than this. No, it just ruined a romantic moment that is not something that people could easily create just because they want to

“Holy shit, is that the ghost they were talking about?” Calix can’t help but mutter. He was not completely petrified than most people would but it was still clear that the sound has some effects on him

Klein took a deep breath as he wants to strangle the neck of Cain. Can’t he I don’t know, play the sound later? Why does it have to be now?

As much as Klein wants to revive the romantic moment, since it was already ruined, he could only do the next best thing which was enacting his plan to scare Calix to death and make him pay for lying

Klein thinks that their moment is very special and he was touched by it. However, business is business and lying is lying. Klein has to avenge himself because that is how petty he was, at least when it comes to things involving Calix

“It could be that ‘or’ someone was trying to prank us” Klein said, emphasizing the word ‘or’. He has that air around him that screams that he don’t believe in ghost or whatever supernatural thing that might be happening in the Manor

“Well, where does that sound even come from?” Calix questioned. Although he don’t 100% believe that the sound came from a ghost, he was more inclined to believe in it compared to Klein that has zero chance of believing it

“I don’t know, maybe someone planted a speaker or whatever in here. I think I heard the sound in there” Klein said while pointing at a certain part of the room

With nothing for them to lose, the two approached where the sound might be coming from and when they were close to it, another creepy sound entered their ears

“Hurts… it hurts… s-stopping whipping me…” it was yet another child’s voice and clearly, it didn’t come from the area where Klein pointed his fingers at

The two looked at each other with some anxiety and they changed their target. They went to the area where they heard the voice but then again, it rang in another part of the room

“Holy shit, the might really be true” Calix cursed. He was not completely freaked out but he was close to that but Klein still don’t believe it in the slightest

“No, that’s impossible. The Manor is certainly not hunted” Klein still refuses to believe it

“Wow, to think that you are that brave is kind of sexy if not for this creepy voice” Calix said and Klein smiled at him

“You know what, let’s just forget that sound. I’m sure someone was trying to prank us!”

With that, Klein went forward and stood in front of Calix while hugging him from the neck

“We are still figuring things out but that doesn’t stop us from making out, right?” Klein suggested seductively

The way he look at Calix feels as if he was looking at a piece of delicious meat and the man teases him

“You sure you didn’t suggest that because you are afraid of the ghost?” Calix questioned while raising his brows and smirking. He also places his hand in Klein’s waist which was both soft and firm

Since the both of them are still naked from the top, that made things really erotic as they swayed their bodies around

“W-whose afraid? I’m not afraid of s-something that isn’t true!” Klein answered but he looks a bit panicking

He made Calix think that he was actually afraid of the ghost but was just trying to act tough

In that way, how could Calix possibly think that all of these was all part of Klein’s brilliant plan?

“Seeing how your body is shaking a bit, I highly doubt that you 100% don’t believe in ghosts. But, since I’m your boyfriend, I’ll help you not think about it. How does that sound?” Calix suggested with a lewd smile

He moved his head to kiss Klein in the lips again before they heard another sound

This time, it was the sound of little feet running around the hallway along with the same kid’s voice from before

“Help… revenge… bad guy…”

The sound ruined the moment again and the two stared at each other before immediately running towards the door and opening it

The two looked outside the room to see the prankster but they saw no one

“Okay, I’m not gonna lie. this is really creepy” Calix commented after seeing that there was no one outside their doors

“T-the prankster is just.. y-you know… a-an expert” Klein made excuses but with his own voice trembling a bit, it doesn’t sound convincing at all

“L-let’s just go back in the r-room!” Klein suggested and when they were about to do that, the lights suddenly went off

“AH!” Klein releases a suprise yell while tightly holding Calix’s arms

Fortunately, the lights only went off for a second before they returned back to normal

Klein immediately releases a breath of relief when he notices that Calix’s body seems to be hard from tense

“Umm… Klein, you might want to look over there” Calix suggested while pointing at the end of the hallway

That area was the only one that don’t have lights on and from it, a very small sillhoute can be seen

It seems to be the figure of the doll which was clearly floating in the air

“I-Illusion! That’s an i-illusion!” Klein said as if he was trying to hypnotize himself while holding Calix tighter

“S-stay here, I will check it!” Calix said bravely. He is still not 100% afraid but clearly, this situation was freaking him out

“I-I’ll go with you” Klein meekly said as he followed Calix from behind while still holding him

They only took a few steps when the lights went off again and for the second time. Klein releases a short surprise scream

The creepy thing is that when the lights returned, the floatinc creepy doll cannot be seen anymore as if everything is back to normal

“That’s crazy! I’ll really go check it!” Calix said before running towards where they last saw the doll

Klein immediately followed suit and it only took a few seconds before they arrived at the end of the hallway

They look at their left and right but they didn’t see even a single shadow which made the ghost story sound even more credible

“Is there really a ghost here?” Calix can’t help but wonder. As for Klein, he was sneaking a peek at the air vent on top of them

Mansions from medieval times might not have them but this mansion is still renovated

The doll came from there. Fortunately, Calix didn’t look above. He just look at his left and right since he still thinks that it was people that did this

“T-this is just a prank, okay? L-let’s go back in the room!” Klein said quite fearfully. If Calix were to see the air vent, he might figure out the doll trick

Klein purposely acted afraid abd that forces Calix to return to their rooms together

They started walking back to the room but when they are near their rooms, a woman’s figure came out from the opposite end of the hallway they came in from before

The woman is the head make up artist from the crew and she just caught Klein and Calix alone while naked. Well, not completely naked but still shirtless

“T-this…” Calix panics a bit, not because he was afraid himself but because of the reactions that Klein might possibly have

“N-no! T-this is just a misunderstanding! W-we you.. a-ahh. L-lost o-our shirt. Y-yeah, we l-lost it at… s-somewhere. Pfft, b-big mansion y-you know” Klein stammered while trying to make up excuse

Sherly being here is in his plan since he was one of the few that he informed.. However, being seen naked by her with Calix is definitely not part of the plan. As such, Klein’s reaction this time was completely genuine
