Don’t Misunderstood! - Chapter 152

After seeing the people that suddenly opened the door, Klein almost lost consciousness

Those people… those people are very familiar to him. It was Klein’s family!

There was his mother, father, and even his older brother and younger sister

All of them have stupefied expressions on their faces. Their jaws were wide open in shock as their pupils dilated

“M-mom, d-dad” Klein stuttered, his whole body forgetting how to move. He wasn’t even able to move away from Calix or at least cover up their almost bare bodies

“Auntie, uncle, what’s happening, why did you stop?” A familiar voice questioned

As the door has a limit, not everyone was able to see what is going on inside

As such, Shane sticks her head to see what the cause of everyone’s shock and she too was surprised

“Oh my gosh! Is this heaven?!” Shane exclaimed

As a person that is obsessed with handsome men, the view of Klein and Calix in such an ‘intimate’ position is naturally a treat in her eyes

Shane’s pupils even almost turned into heart shape ones as she stared at them while covering her mouth

“Ahhh!! Big brother, you’re dirty!” Klein’s little sister – Lynne shouted while covering her eyes

Lynne’s loud scream brought everyone back to reality and her mother – Eula hurriedly pulled her away

As for Klein’s father – Steve, he silently pulled the room’s door while glaring at Calix

He has the look of a father that lost his daughter to his son-in-law

As soon as Klein’s family went out of his sight, he immediately rolled to the side and pulled the sheets to cover his entire body

His face was as pale as a paper as his whole body sweats

Calix looks at the ‘little cocoon’ while scratching his head. He felt kind of guilty for what happened

After all, he wants to take advantage of Klein’s wrongdoings and that resulted in being seen by his partner’s family

“K-Klein…” Calix called out while trying to take the sheets from Klein that tightly grips it to prevent him from doing so

“Just kill me” Klein mumbled while still under the sheets

He felt so embarrassed, no, he was mortified to the extreme. He wish that the bed would open up and swallow him alive

This was the most embarrassing experience he ever had. No one can survive being seen by their parents and even siblings!

It was a whole new level of embarrassment that Klein can’t ever recover

As Calix is not good with words,  he doesn’t know how to make Klein feel better. As such, he can only try to joke around

“Don’t worry, I’ll take responsibility for you” Calix said in hopes that it would earn him even a little bit of chuckle from Klein

However, his expectations were way too off. Instead of chuckling, Klein moved his foot out of the sheets to kick Calix in the stomach

The man groaned but he uses that chance as he grab Klein’s leg and pulled him out of his cocoon

“Argh! What are you doing?!” Klein complained angrily while glaring at Calix

Calix ignored the other man’s anger as he asked a seemingly nonsensical question. “Who are you?”

The embarrassed Klein raises his brows at that as if questioning why Calix would ask a stupid question but Calix just stared at Klein, urging him to give an answer

“Klein” he answered

“That’s right! You are Klein Arceus Ferrer! You can kick the butts of those bullies! You can surely explain this, us, to your parents!” Calix said seriously as if he has 100% belief in Klein

“That’s easy for you to say! You are not the one that got seen by your family!” Klein grumbled and in anger, he wasn’t able to stop himself from pinching Calix

The poor man grimaces from pain but he just pulled Klein closer to him until their faces almost touch each other

“Yes, yes, it was my fault. You can blame me but don’t be too embarrassed and depressed, alright?”

The way Calix spoke made Klein unable to be angry anymore

“Urgh, you’re so cringy! Can you return back to normal when we are still always fighting?” Klein mumbled

The Calix now and the Calix of before was like two completely different people to the point that Klein even sometimes wondered if they are really the same

“Sadly, I can’t” Calix answered with a sigh

Even Calix cannot believe how different he becomes as soon as he fell in love with Klein

His actions and words sometimes shocked him too

However, Calix’s mind and reasoning were just simple. He likes Klein and they are now in a relationship

Calix is not the type to just fool around and since he is in a proper relationship with Klein, he wants to treat him properly

Calix will treat his partner in the way a partner should be treated. As such, it became easy for him to compromise

“Just looking at your cute face made me want to kiss you. How can I fight with you then?” Calix continued as if he was complaining

When reading or watching a story with enemies to lovers trope, Klein likes it better if the leads are still like enemies when they are already in a relationship

However, being treated dearly and having a man that can easily compromise for him is not… bad

In fact, Klein kind of likes it. Maybe, different people just have different preferences

Klein likes the way Calix is now

“Sigh… I don’t know how I can face my family” Klein said before laying his body back into the bed

He was afraid of going out of this room in fear that he would encounter his parents and they would have the ‘talk’

Although his parents are really cool, it doesn’t change the fact that no son likes being caught by their parents

“I thought you are Mr. Strong, why can’t you face them?” Calix provoked and Klein glared at him

“I thought you can’t fight against me anymore?”

“Hahaha, I’m just kidding!”

In the end, the two laid side by side on the bed while staring at each other’s faces

Klein’s heart was still on the brink of giving him a heart attack. He even kind of feels that he would rather stay inside this room his whole life than confront his parents

Calix can understand the internal turmoil that Klein has and he gave a suggestion

“I can talk to them first if you want to. Who knows, they might agree in acting as if nothing happened”

Klein was tempted to accept the offer but he quickly rejected it

If Calix were to talk with his family alone… just thinking about it already makes Klein shudder from fear

Perhaps, only Klein’s little sister is the one that would not chew Calix alive. As for his mother, father, and older brother, they might even skin him alive

Klein shuddered at the possible thing that would happen if he agreed and he hurriedly shook his head

“No, you can’t!” He said firmly, not taking no as a reply

“Then I’ll go with you”

“Let’s just stay here for a moment. I still don’t have the courage to face them”

Calix nodded his head and the two went to hug each other

Klein rested his head on Calix’s chest while the latter played with his hair

Klein was doing his best to calm himself and also gather some courage but it was easier said than done

With his family’s personality, they might lecture him about this and that

They are cool about his sexuality but they also worry too much

They feel like it was easy for their gay son to have his heart broken

Well, that’s not without a basis. After all, straight couples would only break up with each other for things like cheating,  getting tired, etc.

As for gay couples, there is an addition of society’s prejudice

Not to mention, if they were to know that Calix is not really gay or at least bisexual, they might really think that Calix would just break their precious person’s heart

Aside from that, Klein is also not ready to be lectured about safe sex and such. It was too embarrassing talking about something like that with your family no matter how open you are with each other

Klein groaned from time to time while kicking his feet in the air. He was sort of acting like a worm that got sprinkled with salt

His childish antics made Calix laugh internally. If not for fear that Klein would be angry, he might have laughed out loudly already

Klein is just being really cute right now to the point that Calix wants to continue ‘eating’ him

Too bad that the current situation would not let him do that

He can only wish that the time that he would finally have his fill is going to arrive soon as just making out with Klein is a bittersweet feeling
