If Klein doesn’t understand that Calix was merely provoking him, he would be a big idiot

Unfortunately, despite knowing that fact, he can’t simply back down. It was already too late for that

While feeling as if his heart would explode any moment from now, Klein slowly crawled closer to Calix

Klein simply crawled without any meaning to that. I mean, how could he reach and kiss Calix if he don’t do that, right?

What Klein doesn’t know was the image he currently is projecting. He looks like a seductive Succubus crawling towards his prey

This is a good chance for Klein to take initiative

Since Klein is clearly this nervous, Calix regained some of his confidence. He raised his hand and uses it to touch Klein’s face, causing the guy to flinch like a terrified kitten

“I won’t back down, my little kitten” Calix said playfully while rubbing his fingers into Klein’s cheeks

“W-what the—! I-I’m not a k-kitten!” Klein blurted out yet he didn’t even remove Calix’s hand from his face. Calix’s large warm hand simply feels comfortable in his cheeks

“With the way you are acting right now, you sure do look like a small kitten. If you don’t hurry and kiss me, instead of being a fierce and courageous tiger, you would simply become a frightened kitten” Calix continues his provocations, successfully igniting all the pride from Klein’s body which was a lot since his mortal enemy is the one he is dealing with

Klein gulped a mouthful of saliva before moving his head. He inched closer to Calix’s expectant face that just looks so handsome and alluring

Klein can feel a dryness from his throat and it feels like only Calix’s lips could help with his thirst

All caution was thrown into the wind and Klein is really going to take the initiative to kiss Calix for the first time when

“Boo! What are you hiding in—” Shane’s words were cut off as her jaws drop to the ground

Earlier, she thought that there seem to be something suspicious with Klein. Just why is he hiding inside his room and he even locked it?

As Shane is a naturally snoopy person, he went to find the spare key for Klein’s bedroom which isn’t that hard. Almost everyone in Klein’s group of friends knows where the spare key is located

Never in Shane’s wildest dreams that the first thing she would see after opening the bedroom door was her friends in such a… sensual position

Calix is half sitting, half laying down as he rested his head on the headboard. Klein had his arms in Calix’s side for support and their faces were infinitely close to each other

Only a little bit of gap was left before they kiss for the 6th time

“Oh my god! Oh my god!” Shane exclaimed twice in shock. Although she wanted her friend to have his first boyfriend that is perfectly handsome as Calix, she still didn’t expect this

Maybe, if the two end up together, Shane wouldn’t have such a big reaction. But the thing is… isn’t this too ‘spicy’?

“T-this…” Klein wanted to explain himself but how could he?

He badly wanted to say that this is nothing and it’s just a misunderstanding but that is not exactly the truth

He was really about to kiss Calix!

“S-sorry for disturbing you two!” Shane panicky said before trying to run away from the ‘crime scene’

Unfortunately for her, Klein seems to have transformed into a cheetah. He immediately moved away from Calix and chase the fleeing Shane

“A-aww! W-wait! Not my beautiful silky hair!” Shane cried out after Klein pulled her hair in which she regretted

In the next second, Shane can feel a hand wrapped around her neck. “This never happened. You never saw anything that you would disclose to anyone. Do you understand?”

Klein’s voice was so eerie and dangerous that Shane feared that her friend would really kill her if she don’t give him the answer he desires

“I-I got it! L-let go of my neck now!” Shane promised fearfully but Klein wouldn’t easily let her go

“I’m serious, Shane. This matter would never leave this room. If not, blood will flow” Klein said directly to Shane’s ears that wanted to cry badly right now

“Y-yes!” The poor woman can already answer that and only then did Klein let her go

As if she was pardoned by God itself, Shane immediately run away without looking back

With Shane gone, Klein lose all the strength from his body and he fell down

“Klein!” Calix worriedly called out as he went next to Klein

“Bastard! This is your fault! W-what if Shane wouldn’t keep her words? What is she informed our friends? What if they all spread this?”

Klein’s tone was filled with fear and bullets of sweat even appeared from his forehead

“Why are you so afraid, Klein?” Calix asks gently in a sad manner. Personally, he doesn’t care if people were to learn that he has something going on with Klein

It wouldn’t change a thing

“Y-you don’t understand! I don’t want you, alright! I-I don’t so stop messing with my mind!”

A fang of pain bit Calix’s heart after hearing that. He knew that he already have some feelings for Klein but that is further proven after hearing such painful words

No one would not get hurt if a person they likes were treating you as if you are the man he doesn’t want to have any feelings with

“Why? Why are you saying that? Don’t you like me?” Calix asked with a downcast expression but Klein was too panicked to notice that

“For the nth time, I don’t have a crush on you! It was all you misunderstanding me. I don’t like you and I never will! That’s not possible!” Klein bursts and it felt like teens of needles stab Calix’s heart

Klein’s words really know how to hurt someone

“I s-see. I understand. If you don’t want it, it’s not right for me to push myself on you” Calix said before standing up from the ground and leaving Klein alone

Every step that Calix took was heavy. Every step he wishes that Klein would at least stop him but that didn’t happen even until he got out for the apartment

Outside, Calix saw the absentminded Shane standing with a blank look on her face

She was greatly shocked at what she had witnessed earlier to the point that Calix was only noticed by her after he coughs

“H-hey… h-hahahah, f-fancy m-meeting you here” Shane greeted awkwardly. Every time she looks at Calix now, all her mind could think of was the possible things that he did with her friend

However, Shane soon noticed that there seems to be something wrong with Calix. Why does it look like his whole world has crumbled down?

“I want to ask you a question” Calix stated and Shane can sense the seriousness from the man

With a gulp, Shane nodded her head. “W-what is it?”

“Does Klein have a crush on me before or not? I want a completely honest answer. Stop messing with me at least once” Calix ask in hopes that what happened back then was just another episode of Klein freaking out

Shane scratches the side of her face and she decided to give a genuine answer. “H-He don’t. H-he actually hate you before, Klein would always complain about you”

“I see” Calix can only reply that before walking away

He was hoping to hear that Klein really has a crush on him and that maybe, things are just going too fast

After all, their feelings seem to have sprouted in one fell swoop. It’s perfectly normal to be nervous and freak out

But with Klein’s words, actions, and reactions, it looks like he really doesn’t feel anything for Calix
