Doulou Dalu: Reborn As Tang San - Chapter 4
Holy Spirit village is a village containing about three hundred households south of Fasinuo province’s Nuoding City. To the south of the Holy Spirit village, a vast expanse of farmland, where grain and vegetables are produced, which all goes to supply Nuoding City. Whilst the north lays a tall mountain surrounded by a dense forest and in that forest, we see a figure flickering from branch to branch.
Logically we can only ȧssume it to be a spirit beast, but due to the diluted spirit energy in the surrounding area, it is impossible for spirit beast to grow past a century. Taking a closer look at the figure again, we can finally make out a young black haired boy with very noticeable red eyes.

Another year has passed and I have finally unlocked my Sharingan, giving me the ability to see spirit energy. This change has improved my cultivation speed by leaps and bounds; In the past I was comparable to a blind man struggling his way around, but now I can see clearly.
Concerning my body training, I can now comfortably run with 7.5 kgs strapped to my back and two 1.5 kg weights strapped to my ankles and two 0.5 kg strapped to my wrist. Which is honestly ridiculous as I currently weight 23, so I’m almost carrying half my weight around. Day by day, I am truly astounded by the wonders of spirit energy.
I have also started to increase my running distance moderately. To the point where I currently run up the mountain and then back down again and finishing the workout by running westwards for the river. Where I would swim a few ŀȧps back and forth in between a large eddy; working on my arm and leg strength while also toning my entire body.
As for my shadow boxing, I have taken it to a ridiculous level. This all started when I found a hidden cavern on the foot of the mountain, with its entrance covered and hidden by the overgrowth. Well long story short, this particular cavern has now been proudly claimed by me as my hideout and has been transformed into my personal gym; complete with a few wooden logs for my training dummy and a wide pool, which took weeks to dig out.
Anyways for my shadow boxing, I have begun doing it underwater weighing myself down with rocks and fighting that way. This activity has come with a lot of benefits. Seeing that exercising in water builds cardiovascular stamina, strength and flexibility help build up the lungs for more endurance, increases circulation, and with the water full of spiritual energy as it came from the realm; it has also been healing and tempering my muscles and joints that had been damaged during my runs.
Concerning my Iron palm training. It has been coming along well and I’ve finally been able to move into striking trees with rough bark. Although after 3 months of training, I found that the fingers lose their dexterity. So I’ve been trying slowly gain it back, by using a few surgeon exercises that had been taught to me by my old flatmate; when I was complaining one day about having hand cramps due to excessive typing. One of them is called finger ups, which is like push ups for your fingers; this exercise not only help increase the range of motion and flexibility in your fingers, but you can also do it just about anywhere, here’s how it goes:
1 Place your hand flat, palm down, on a table or other surface.
2 Gently lift one finger at a time off of the table and then lower it.
3 You can also lift all your fingers and thumb at once, and then lower.
4 Repeat eight to 12 times on each hand.

I am now finally 5 years old and can finally learn the art of blacksmithing. Which I personally am looking forward to learning, ever since I’ve watched this TV show called bladesmiths, although I haven’t practised it myself, I do kinda have a general idea of what the processes are to blacksmithing.
Besides being able to move and enhance my body with my spiritual energy there really wasn’t much of a big change in terms of my exercises. Apart from being able to swim against the current.
After dinner, I finally asked my dad about the blacksmithing offer he gave me a few years back and he replied by handing me a hammer and some pig iron, telling me to hammer it out until it is the size of a fist.
