Yan He proceeded to pull out a Spirit Inscribing Kiridashi Knife from his interspacial storage ring.

The Spirit Inscribing Kiridashi knife blade is roughly 3 inches in length, 2 inches in width. Not taking into account the steep rising angle of the knife blade shape.

It’s handle and main body is made from the bones and carcass of a spirit beast, making the material alot much harder, and more durable. Whilst, the knife blade silvery translucent with light blue hue, is made from thousand refine Cold Iron.

The surface of the Kiridashi knife blade is covered with numerous inscriptions, though a bit tumultuous, it forms a clear picture, resembling rain clouds. Four initial characters were carved directly onto the knife blade; Xīnzàng bānshǒu (Heart Wrenching Blade).

“As a little gift, how about I show you how spirit artifact masters turn ordinary items into spirit artifacts.” Yan He eyes gleamed, becoming calm and unmoving, full of concentration.

As the Spirit Inscribing Kiridashi knife in his hand, dazzled, the numerous sigils on the knife blade lights up. Infusing the blade with the aura of strength, seemingly like the tsunami wave, enabling it to pierce through anything in its path.

Water vapour began to coalescence around the Kiridashi blade, similar to the flowing autumn leave blade, but this time it seems more illusory and surreal, between the existence of reality and illusion.

It wraps around Yan He arms and hands, making it seem dancing scarfs. The tension in atmosphere escalates.

The Kiridashi knife in his hand, danced, like fishes jumping upstreams. As the knife carved into the woods, several inscriptions starts to form on the surface of the bamboo blade.

First was the core section, the main processor of the spirit artifact, in which determines the versatile usability of the artifact. Yan He then inscribed the Spirit Gathering Sigil, with many sub-category spirit sigils, that works in conjunction. This enables the spirit artifact to be self energy efficient, enabling it to gather spiritual power by itself, without the need for the user to input his own source of spirit power.

Yan He created a small inner energy storage within the bamboo sword, by utilising several advanced inscription sigils, that is akin to spirit batteries.

He then carved wierd patterns directly onto the blade edge, which resulted in something greatly unexpected. The edge of the blade starts to thin out, it’s surface becoming a lot smoother, and sharper, gaining a light semi greenish orange hue around the blade.

With a single wave of the bamboo sword, the greenish orange hue ȧssimilated with the bamboo sword, increasing its durability and hardness.

As Yan He rapidly pours in his own spiritual energy, filling the internal spirit batteries of the spirit artifact, causing a light influx of spiritual energies.

The many numerous sigils and inscriptions on the bamboo blade began to light up. As the bamboo blade began to pulsate with power, earth nature attribute energy emitting off the surface of the blade.

The dual earth attribute nature energy is the result of innate essence attribute of the Bamboo Thride Spider.

With one swing of the bamboo blade, the dual earth attribute nature energy concentrated, in one focal point, densely packed, burning brightly with spiritual energy.

The crescent blade of light is then send flying forwards, cutting through numerous rows of trees, and wrecking havoc in the forest. Trees are shakened, rocking back and forth, because of the destructive force. The orangey brown leaves fall from the rocked branches.

Tang Qing stares at the scene in complete utter amazement, as his heart is pounding loudly in his mind, that he almost forgot to breathe.

The long silence is finally broken when Tang Qing let out a large gasp. As he quickly runs up to Yan He like an excited child, who just saw a new toy.

“That was awesome! So awesome! How did you do that…” Tang Qing exclaimed, with eyes glittering with joy, and bottomless excitement.

With a wisk of his hand, the bamboo blade’s strong aura vanishes, the spirit artifact mechanism deactivates. Turning the object back to its original shape and form.

Yan He stabs the bamboo blade into the ground with a light smile plastered on his face. His sense of amusement, knows no end, as he was showered by the praises of a child.

“So how was your Present? Do you like it…” Yan He spoke to Tang Qing, emphasising on the word present.

Tang Qing then picks up the newly modified bamboo blade. Excitingly, holding it within his hand, but suddenly that so called happiness turns into puzzlement.

“Can I keep this, spirit artifact?” Tang Qing kindly asked Yan He, with his voice trembling at the idea, that he will be forced to part way with his treasure object.

Yan He looked at the sudden turn of events, with great shock, as he didn’t expect this sort of reaction. Usually, the kids who recieved these kind of gift would be happy, and extremely grateful. The smarter ones would then ask what he wants in return for the favor.

But the reaction he got was the most least unexpected, as the little Tang Qing ask with pleading eyes, almost in the brink of tears. Whether it is tears of happiness and joy, or that of sadness and loss. It was extremely difficult to tell.

What Yan He didn’t expect that Tang Qing has strong physical and emotional attachment towards this object (bamboo blade).

It may have seem like an ordinary object to others, but Tang Qing has spend many grueling years training with the bamboo sword; not only to vent his anger and stress, but to also hone his skill, in depth to help him achieve his dreams, on the path to becoming an Immortal.

‘Well that is what to be expected. Who would expect some random stranger to come up to you, and give you gifts. That would be too strange not to attract attention.’

Yan He sighs. He look at Tang Qing’s pleading eyes, feeling somewhat responsible for the situation.

“What did I say before? It was a gift. A present that I’m willing to give to you for free, and ask nothing else in return for it.” Yan He spoke carefully and slowly trying to get the message across to Tang Qing.

“Really?” Tang Qing said so excitedly, as he watches Yan He nods his head in confirmation.

“So what are you gonna name it?” Yan He ask with a curious look, as he looks in Tang Qing’s direction.

“That is quite an impressive naming sense. You must be quite educated, and to be this young.” Yan He laughs joyfully, pulling out a gourd of silver wine, and he starts drinking it.

Tang Qing sheaths his Autumn Gold Breeze sword, sliding it into the bamboo scabbard.

“Mr. Yan, why exactly did you gift me this spirit artifact for free. Expecting nothing in return for your generosity.” Tang Qing turned his head to face Yan He, with a serious look on his face. Yan He just smiles in return.

“Just consider it investment and free publicity.”

The words that Yan He has just said, stoke him, leading him to show a very confused look. As he tries to ascertain the situation himself.

“What benefit would you gain? Free publicity? But I’m the only ones here.” Tang Qing said, questioning Yan He’s motive.

Seeing this, Yan He couldn’t help but laugh, even harder. Whilst, chugging down the gourd of sweet silver wine, down his throat. Feeling satisfied, Yan He wipe the remaining residue of his lips.

“You’re being too overly cautious. What I’m basically doing is normal. I am just basically advertising and giving free publicity for the Spirit Artifact Association. Whilst at the same time, specifically seek out target individuals, with potential to become a spirit artifact master. The spirit artifact that I just gave you is just a mere glimpse into the vast expanse of the Spirit Artifact Master world. What I’m doing is basically enticing you.”

Before Yan He turns to leave, he took one last glance back at Tang Qing’s figure. With a smile, he pulled out something hidden beneath his sleaves, and throws a wooden carved token at Tang Qing.

“Tang Qing…” Tang Qing replied honestly, seeing the departing figure of Yan He, as he dissappears without a trace, like how he suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
