Douluo Dalu: Wulin’s Legend - Chapter 75 Rong Rong's Home Visit Part 1
Rong Rong was feeling excited to see her family again after leaving them for over a year.
“Come on! Let’s go faster! Hurry up!” She hurried the white clothes clansmen following her.
The clansmen following her were a little shocked at the pace that Rong Rong was moving, much faster than they had expected.
Afterall, she left the clan as a rank 27 Spirit Master with no physical foundation and disliked doing anything that will make her sweaty.
How could they know that Rong Rong has already increased her Spirit Rank by 10 and built a strong physical foundation through exercise and Tang San’s breathing techniques.

Inside the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile School, a dissatisfied Rong Rong swung her legs as she sat on a sofa.
Her pretty pink lips pouting hard as she occasionally gave a “Humph!” and swinging her head to the side.
She had been back for more than half a day, yet her father was still nowhere to be seen. However, she still had one grandpa left.
Sitting on the sofa in front of her was an old man with a withered face, slowly sipping on his tea.
Even when sitting down, it was possible to see that his stature was astonishing. Although he didn’t have robust and swelling muscles, his skeletal frame was humongous.
The originally spacious sofa seemed very narrow when he sat in it. His muscles and skin were both withered, and his eyes were sunken deep into the socket.
He only had a few strands of white hair left dangling on his scalp. He looked like the typical monster told to children to make them behave.
This was precisely one of the guardian Titled Douluo’s of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan, Bone Douluo Gu Rong.
He occasionally glanced at the flower shaped ring on Rong Rong’s left hand with a strange expression but didn’t say anything about it.
“My little princess, don’t be angry. I’m sure your father will be back quickly.” The Bone Douluo tried to appease Rong Rong’s anger.
His voice was extremely hoarse, it was so unnerving to listeners that it could stop crying babies.
Rong Rong was unaffected by his voice as she leapt from her sofa, running to the old man and sitting on his lap.
She raised her hands and pulled on the few remaining strands of the Bone Douluo’s white hair.
“I don’t care! A certain someone has been gone for over a year, and finally returned with great difficulty but daddy isn’t present. Isn’t he deliberately hiding from me? Grandpa Bone, you must back me up!”
The old withered face of the Bone Douluo twitched once, unsure whether to laugh or cry, “My little princess, you shouldn’t keep playing with that little withered grass on your grandpa Bone’s head. Otherwise I’ll really become bald and be even more teased by that cheap grandpa Sword of yours. You want me to support you, what can I do, don’t tell me there’s still someone in the school who would tease you?”
“Hmph! Once daddy returns, he must give me something nice to appease me. Grandpa Bone, you must also speak on my behalf.”
Bone Douluo could only helplessly nod his head like a chicken pecking at rice in order to keep his remaining wisps of hair.
Rong Rong laughed brightly, “I knew Grandpa Bone was the best!” giving his ugly sunken cheeks a big kiss before jumping off his lap.
“I heard our little she-devil has returned? Where is she, Rong Rong, come quickly let daddy have a look.”
Suddenly, a man’s voice sounded outside. Rong Rong got up excitedly, but remembered she was still angry and hastily faced the other direction while pouting.
An elegant middle-aged man stepping into the hall accompanied by a white dressed old man.
This was Ning Fengzhi, Rong Rong’s father, accompanied by the Sword Douluo, Chen Xin, the second Titled Douluo of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan.
Ning Fengzhi saw Rong Rong with her back turned to him and couldn’t help but say, “Silly girl, what are you doing with your back to daddy. It’s been a year, daddy missed you so much!”
Rong Rong swung around sharply, “Missed me? I have been here for half a day already. I wonder if you didn’t long for me to be away from home.”
Ning Fengzhi, seeing his daughter angrily glaring at him, inwardly felt his heart fall.
He first sat on the sofa and held out a hand to pull his daughter over. However, Rong Rong quickly dodged out of the way with ease.
Ning Fengzhi was startled when he failed to catch his daughter. Even though he was an Auxiliary System Spirit Master, his over seventieth rank Spirit Power transformed his body to be much stronger than ordinary people.
Rong Rong was also an Auxiliary System Spirit Master and hated physical exercise more than him, so she should be much weaker than him.
Rong Rong didn’t pay any attention to her father as she turned to the Sword Douluo and threw herself into his arms.
“Grandpa Sword, Grandpa Sword, I’ve missed you to death!” She shoved her face into his stomach as tears gathered in her eyes.
She has never been away from her family for so long, so she immediately felt like crying now that she was reunited with them.
The Sword Douluo held Rong Rong in a tight embrace as he gently caressed her long pink hair.
“Good girl, Grandpa Sword also missed you! Missed you very desperately! You have grown up so much, I can hardly recognise you. Also, your hair has grown so long since I last saw you. Didn’t you always like having short hair?”
Rong Rong looked up at the old man with her large eyes, “Did I? I think having long hair is quite nice now. Boys also like girls with long hair.”
The old man almost spat blood when he heard her words, the Bone Douluo sitting on the sofa also couldn’t help but have a strange expression on his face.
Ning Fengzhi had a grim expression on his face. He looked at Rong Rong and noticed a ring adorned on her left hand’s ring finger.
A deep raging fire burned in his eyes as he thought about the letter he received a while ago from Rong Rong stating she found a boyfriend.

‘This little bastard, he even dares to put a ring on my daughter without my blessing. He is probably with her for the Clan resources, I will definitely put a stop to him!’ Ning Fengzhi thought to himself.
“Did you go to that academy to find boys or to cultivate! If you haven’t made enough progress in your cultivation, don’t blame me for keeping you here.”
Ning Fengzhi had a calm tone, but everyone could tell that a fire was silently burning inside his body.
Due the the special nature of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda, even a Titled Douluo wouldn’t be able to see how much Spirit Power Rong Rong had.
Rong Rong pouted and poked her tongue out at her father, “Bleh! You didn’t even miss me, and now you are threatening to keep me home.”
She turned to her Grandpa Bone as she used her large watery eyes on him, “Grandpa Bone, you said you would back me up.”
The old man smiled wryly, his cracked lips and sunken face made his smile look extremely terrifying, “My little princess, you know I always have the best for you in mind.”
Rong Rong pouted in dissatisfaction, “Hmph! You do not want to help me, fine! Who says I have been wasting my time at the academy, I have already grown 10 levels.”
The eyes of the three men opened as wide as saucers. However, they did not show any joy at her words.
“What! You said you have increased your Spirit Rank by 10 levels? Rong Rong, do not lie to daddy. Quickly, tell me the truth!”
Ning Fengzhi had a stern expression on his face, he knew that Rong Rong disliked cultivation the most.
Even though she had talent, she would only cultivate when she was forced by her elders in exchange for many benefits.
For her to increase from the twenty seventh rank to the thirty seventh rank in little over a year is incomprehensible.
“Bad daddy, not even believing you own daughter. I may be naughty, but I am not a liar! I am a Spirit Elder of the thirty seventh rank.”
Rong Rong felt wronged when her father questioned her, was she really not that trustworthy?
Not just Ning Fengzhi, but the two old men also had grave expressions on their faces, killing intent was surging under the currents of their eyes.
As veteran Spirit Masters, they understood that the process of Spirit Master cultivation was long and arduous, needing to progress step by step.
However, there are many kinds of different and nefarious cultivation methods. Some can trade one’s own vitality for increased cultivation speed, while others can use people as cultivation cauldrons to steal their cultivation.
They were worried that Rong Rong was taught a nefarious cultivation method and injured her own potential in exchange for quick benefits.
“Rong Rong, immediately tell us everything about cultivating at Shrek Academy over this past year, you can’t omit anything. I want to know how you could improve this quickly.”
Ning Fengzhi walked over to his daughter as he slowly said.
Rong Rong was baffled by her father’s seriousness, “Daddy, what’s going on with you? I was lazy before, but now I have gained this much Spirit Power, aren’t you happy for me?”
“I’m just afraid that you might have taken a wrong step. Daddy isn’t joking with you, quickly tell me your entire cultivation process.”
Ning Fengzhi was starting to get anxious. Rong Rong had only been away for a year, so perhaps Ning Fengzhi as the leading scholar of Auxiliary System Spirit Masters can reverse the effects of nefarious cultivation.
Rong Rong saw that her father wasn’t joking, nor were her two grandpas’ coming to her aid, so she could only tell them.
“Originally, I secretly ran away to Shrek Academy because I heard they produced many talents. After enrolling, I discovered I was actually the weakest one.”
Rong Rong began talking about all the students from Shrek Academy, giving a quick introduction of them all.
Hearing that there were so many people enrolled at Shrek Academy, and apparently all of them were stronger than her, the Sword Douluo couldn’t help but ask.
“Rong Rong, are you sure you didn’t make a mistake? Were all those children with you there all stronger than you?”
Rong Rong giggled as she said, “I knew you wouldn’t believe me, but it’s true. Our dean Flander has a saying, ‘Shrek Academy only accepts monsters, not ordinary people’.”
“To be able to have 10 students and all of them are stronger than you… Shrek Academy indeed deserves its reputation. But, I still can’t believe they could teach you to cultivate ten ranks of Spirit Power in one year.” The white-haired old man said.
“I haven’t finished my story yet!” Rong Rong said, before explaining Yu Xiao Gang’s arrival and the start of their advanced training.
Listening to Rong Rong’s descriptions, Ning Fengzhi and the two Titled Douluo understood that this Grandmaster character was no ordinary person and inwardly felt admiration for his training methods.
Rong Rong continued to talk about her cultivation, making sure to omit any relationship experiences she had with her husband, ‘Sorry daddy, you only asked for my cultivation experience, not my love life.’
“…Two months ago, after I reached the thirtieth rank, I was able to obtain my third Spirit Ring.”
“Wait! Although your teacher’s training method is indeed impressive, but it is not impossible to gain three or four ranks in one year. However, you said that you were only thirtieth rank two months ago, how did you gain the other seven ranks so quickly?”
Ning Fengzhi interrupted Rong Rong, he was feeling increasingly anxious whenever Rong Rong spoke.
Rong Rong smiled mysteriously, “Actually, half a month ago I was still at the thirty first rank. The last six ranks were practically done in a day.”
The eyes of the two old men and Ning Fengzhi widened greatly. They knew that the more that a nefarious cultivation method increased cultivation speed, the more vitality would be consumed.
To be able to gain six ranks in one day, that would expend decades of one’s life. Ning Fengzhi’s heart was bursting from his chest with anxiety.
‘Shrek Academy, if anything has happened to my Rong Rong I will wipe you from existence!’ Ning Fengzhi silently swore in his heart.
Rong Rong saw the shocked and agitated looks of her elders and giggled softly, “What are you so nervous for? I wanted it to be a nice surprise, I just ate a kind of herb and gained this much strength.”
“You ate a herb? What herb?” Ning Fengzhi quickly questioned nervously.
“Third brother said that it was called ‘Beautiful Silk Tulip’. It is a rare Immortal Treasure.” Rong Rong answered.
Ning Fengzhi turned his mind to the two people he met earlier, ‘Could that average looking youth be that third brother Rong Rong is speaking of? Is he Rong Rong’s boyfriend?’
Thinking about his meeting with them, he shook his head, ‘No, it can’t be that one. He looked too attached to the girl beside him. He didn’t seem like a naïve person either, surely he wouldn’t give something detrimental to his friends.’
Ning Fengzhi didn’t know about this Beautiful Silk Tulip, so he turned to the two experienced elders, “Uncle Sword, Uncle Bone, have either of you heard of this herb?”
The two old men had blank faces, clearly not knowing what a Beautiful Silk Tulip is.
The Bone Douluo was looking increasingly anxious as he spoke, “I don’t know. Perhaps, only that poisonous Dugu Bo would know.”
“We have to examine Rong Rong’s condition at once. If by any chance her growth came at the expense of her vitality, we must quickly think of a way to deal with it at once.” He said.
Rong Rong tutted her finger in front of her face, “Grandpa Bone, there is no need to be worried. My third brother said that those herbs were all Immortal Treasures that had absorbed the essence of heaven and earth. Not only would they not cause harm, but they would even strengthen the foundation. You can check for yourself if you want.”
The old man in white clothes stepped forward and took Rong Rong’s wrist to check her foundation.
Using his own Spirit Power, he investigated Rong Rong’s foundation. Surprisingly, it was incredibly solid like a metal bar.
Chen Xin inwardly let out a sigh of relief, the herb really didn’t seem to have any negative effects on her foundation or vitality.
He was about to release Rong Rong when he suddenly thought of something and continued investigating.
Ning Fengzhi and Gu Rong nervously watched the Sword Douluo check Rong Rong’s foundation.
Suddenly, the old man’s face paled greatly as his eyes widened in astonishment. Ning Fengzhi and Gu Rong jumped in fright seeing the old man’s reaction.
“Uncle Sword, don’t hide it from us, how bad is the damage? I won’t hesitate to use any of the clan’s resources if it can help heal her vitality.” Ning Fengzhi said.
The Bone Douluo stood tall as his killing intent started surging in the room, his 250cm tall frame causing him to look like a giant monster.
“That damned Shrek Academy! Just you wait, your student has harmed the potential of so many others, yet you just sat there and watched. If I don’t get a suitable explanation, I will raze the academy to the ground!”
His deep and hoarse voice sounded like ghosts screaming in pain, able to send shivers down the spine of anyone who heard him.
Rong Rong was shocked by their reactions as she quickly said, “No! Third brother wouldn’t lie to us. Grandpa Sword quickly tell them, there is no problem with my foundation.”
The old man was brought back to his senses as he heard Rong Rong’s urgent voice, he slowly nodded his head while shock was still apparent on his face.
“There are no problems with Rong Rong’s foundation or vitality. Both of them are incredibly strong, even for others of her Spirit Rank.” He said.
Ning Fengzhi and Gu Rong stopped still before heaving a deep sigh of relief, “Then, Uncle Sword, what were you so shocked about?”
The Sword Douluo’s gaze changed from Rong Rong to Ning Fengzhi constantly in hesitation, “The thing is… Rong Rong is no longer a virgin…”
Rong Rong’s eyes widened in shock as she let out a small, “Ah”
