Draconic Online - Chapter 3
Three items appeared on the ground where Rodger used to be. Silver moved towards the corpse and picked up the first item.

Level 1

What a great pair of boots, after battling the bandits Silver further understood the importance of being quick. If he had these boots when fighting Rodger he could of avoided a ton of damage. Silver went to pick up the next item
[Rodgers’ Trusty Hat]
Rarity: Quest Item
Silver put the Hat into his inventory before picking up the final dropped item.
[Rodgers Treasure Map]
After placeing the map in his inventory Silver planned to head back to the village, but then he saw a group of two players one a warrior, and the other a priest coming towards him.
“Hey you! Drop me a nice piece of gear and we wont kill you.” A Warrior called Strong Banana called out.

Silver was not one for chatting, he immediately entered , and activated his skill. He then quickly moved towards the female priest named Holy Banana. He got behind the priest and used .

In under three seconds Silver landed three blows in critical areas. The priest was inexperienced in pvp, and only responded with a heal shortly after being hit for the fourth time.

The warrior finally arrived next to the priest and used in hopes of getting closer, and landing cc(Crowd Control) on Silver. Unfortunately, Silver was much faster then he originally anticipated. Silver Completely dodged the charge while continuing to dps the priest, until she finally fell a few seconds later.
After killing the Priest, Strong Banana did not stand a chance against Silver. Through perfect parries and movements Silver skillfully killed Strong Banana with only a minuscule amount of hp remaining due to his earlier battle with Rodger.
Death in Draconic was a serious matter, if you are the one who is struck first; death would mean a 12 hours ban, and losing 20% of experience towards your next level. The aggressor would face a full 24 hour ban and lose 40% of experience towards their next level. In the novice village this punishment was greatly reduced. Although the experience lose was the same, the ban time was changed to one or two hours respectively.
Since Silver was first to attack and kill the two players, he gained a small amount of infamy. In order to reduce his infamy he had to go kill the bandits for about a hour. During the hour Silver gained enough experience to reach level 2.
“Ding” Silver leveled up.
With this he gained 1 Dexterity, and 2 Free Attribute points which he immediately placed in Dexterity.
Due to his class Silver gained 1 Dexterity each time he leveled up. For all races, except human an attribute would be automatically distributed towards the races main quality, for example a Dragonborn a race known for strength upon level up would gain 1 strength, 1 attribute based off class, and only 1 free attribute point. This is quite advantageous to humans, but every other race in exchange for less freedom in attribute distribution is given an innate skill.
Silver then returned to the village, at the entrance of the village people had set up make shift stalls. The stalls sold nearly everything available at and around the novice village. Mostly common material and common gear not a single uncommon item could be found. A large amount of players were still conversing with the Mayor; after shoving through Silver spoke with him.
“I have completed the task you presented me with.” Silver took out Rodgers hat to present to the Mayor.
“How Impressive, I’m truly surprised by your success, you can keep the hat, and of course the village will reward you handsomely.”
– Gained 1500 Experience
– Gained [Silvers’ Trusty Hat] (Bounded)
– Gained Title Expert Novice
“Thank you, Mayor, is there anything else I can assist you with?” Silas asked seemingly pleased with the rewards.
“Now that you mention it, I do have a certain task that I need a trustworthy assassin to assist with. I would like to task you with a important bounty. Unlike the Bandit leader this criminal is a true felon. I suggest you become stronger before attempting the assassination.”
I accept
After glancing at the details Silver decided to see what rewards he retrieved from completing the quest.
Expert Novice: Gain 10% Increase damage in and around Novice Villages
[Silvers’ Trusty Hat] (Cloth)
Rarity: Uncommon (Green)
Bound to Silver
All Attributes + 1
Bonus: Shadow Blink: Instantly appear at a random location within 5 feet (Instantly lose stealth).
Cooldown: 10 Minutes
Even with near zero knowledge in gaming Silver knew how great of an item this hat was. All Attributes + 1 was already a good effect, but even a total noob would understand that Shadow Blink was a great dodging skill.
After equipping the title, and hat Silver was feeling confident in his growth. His dexterity has already reached 15, and his attack speed neared 1. Suddenly Silver heard a notification. Browsing the menu he found:
After thinking for just a moment Silver decided to accept the friend request. Shortly after accepting Silver received a message.
“Hello Brother, its a pleasure to meet you. I would first like to apologies for my guild members offending you on the field. I have punished them appropriately, I do not accept robbing and killing in the field. I was hoping that we could be friendly with one another. Feel free to come to me if you need anything, or have anything to sell. (Like maybe a drop from a certain elite mob 😉 )”
Although Silver was rather thin-skinned to wrong doings, silver was more then willing to forgive such a minor offence; especially since he has already killed the two wrong doers.
“No problem, I have already punished those involved. I do not wish to sell anything that dropped from the mobs i have killed thus far.”
“No worries, let me know if you find anything good in the future come to our Banana Guild first, we may only be small sized guild, but we are no doubt the strongest in this novice village.” Since characters randomly spawned in novice villages all guilds were separated. Banana King with some luck was able to recruit many new players who spawned here to his guild allowing uncontested growth in the village. This combined with the fact that changing names was a very simple task (at least until some reputation is gained), caused Banana Guild members to be seen everywhere.
The conversations ended easily, it seem that the Banana King was not going to push any further. After selling off the random junk items he retrieved from killing bandits he had a total of 14 Silver. Half of which dropped from the Bandit leader.
Silver decided to look through the stalls at the front of the village, and ended up purchasing his first pair of gauntlets for 5 silver, and a new dagger for 8 Silver.
[Cloth Gauntlet] (Cloth Armor)

[Butcher Knife] (Dagger)

The average player ranking has been edging closer to level 2, and if he did not want to fall behind he needed to be well equipped. After putting on the gear he made his way towards the location indicated on Rodgers’ Map.
