Draconic Online - Chapter 7

Silver headed back to the village to meet the Mayor, after walking through the North gate Silver entered the general goods store. He sold all the trash drops he got from the hundreds of harpies he killed for an entire gold. He resupplied potions, and other general goods. He then headed towards the Village Hall. The area was still densely populated, but not nearly as crowded as the previous times.

Silver approached the old mayor, “I have successfully killed the Felon Zurin Nehlu in the Hamtara Mountain”

“How Surprising, I did not think you would complete the task so quickly. The reward for the bounty has come from Feral City.”

In order to receive better treatment in Draconic, Reputation is a must. There were 2 different types of reputation in Draconic.

Individual reputation, which is garnered through completing tasks from a single NPC. Once enough tasks are completed your reputation may increase, There are seven stages of reputation with each NPC; Despised – Hated- Hostile – Neutral – Friendly – Loved- Worshiped. Many changes occur depending on which stage of reputation a player is in; including quests, quest rewards, prices, and willingness to become a follower. if reputation is negative a NPC may attempt to scam, injure, or even kill a player. Individual reputation can be easily gained overtime, with most NPCS.

The Second type of Reputation is earned through organizations, this reputation is gained through completing positive acts towards large powers. This includes towns, cities, countries, guilds, or even empires. This type of reputation can only be gained through completing a substantial amount of tasks, or by directly causing the organizations to rise in power. Reputation is calculated through a number from -1000 to 1000, Silvers’ reputation just increased by 3 for Feral City. The positives for higher reputation in organizations are not yet confirmed, but there is no doubt positive ramifications.

Silver then Glanced at his new title.

First Bounty Hunter (Rare): Gain 15% Increased Attributes when fighting those with bounties.

Although not useful for now, Silver was still pleased with the title, After a thought he replied to the Mayor.

“Thank you Mayor, I appreciate the opportunities.”

“No need for such proper speaking, you may call me Leon. i have a favor to ask of you, Our village truly lacks strong warriors, they are all taken by the larger cities that we fall under. There are some quite powerful monsters that we need to rid of, before you leave would you assist me in defeating these monstrosities. Feel free to invite a few others warriors to assist, I just hope to avoid anymore pointless deaths from these monster.”

“I would gladly take up the task.”

“Thank you brave warrior.” Leon made a slight bow.

Three marks appeared on Silvers’ mini map. This quest gave Silver a small headache, although he knew that at some point he would need to find a party he was hoping that he could wait till after leaving the novice village. After Silvers’ battle with the Dragonborn, he believed that in order to defeat a full hp boss he would at least need a top tier Healer, Tank, and a second skilled DPS, which is not something he can just walk around and find. Without a choice Silver decided to message Banana King.

“I need a favor.” Silver Straight forwardly asked.

“Of course brother what do you need.” Banana King quickly replied

“I have gotten a difficult quest that I cannot complete alone, I need a skilled Tank, Healer, and DPS.”

“Haha, is that all brother. That is quite an easy request to complete. What does the quest entail?”

“I’m hunting three different boss monsters.” Silver casually said.

“Three bosses! Brother with only four players you plan to hunt down boss monsters?” Banana King was not expecting that Silver would be hunting bosses, although a few more bosses have been hunted due to the players quick growth rate, almost all those bosses were hunted by parties that had at least ten players.

“As long as the tank and healer can stay alive killing the boss won’t be a problem.” Silver quickly replied. After experiencing a bosses capabilities, Silver had a very good understanding of the requirements to kill a boss.

“Okay, i’ll come along with two other elites from the guild, where would you like to meet?”

“Thank you, make sure you bring a large amount of potions.” Looking at where the bosses where located Silver decided he would start with the Goblin Chief, since it was the closest boss. “Meet me at the North Gate whenever you’re ready.”

Fifteen minutes latter Silver saw a group of three geared players approach at the North Gate.

Draconic did not allow a large amount of appearance customization, even when changing races the game would only allow you to make minor changes. Although Tanky Banana was a Dragonborn it was rather obvious that she was an attractive person in reality. Her character was fit, and had very gentle facial features.

This was nothing compared to the elf next to her Popular Banana, taking just a glance at him could cause one to become rather dazed. He was basically embodiment the concept of good looking; a perfect body ratio, a wonderful smile, and black hair which seemed to sparkle, adding on the noble aura that being a elf gives him, would cause all genders to find him attractive.

Finally Banana King….looked completely average with no special characteristics, perfect for an extra in a movie. After noticing Silvers’ gaze, the group of three walked over.

“Brother Silver! How great it is to finally be able to speak to one another.” Banana King greeted.

“The pleasures all mine, Banana King.” Silver replied somewhat stumbling on the name.

“Please just call me Eric,” Then pointing towards Tanky Banana, “This is Bananas number one tank Sofia.” Sofia nodded her head towards Silver in greeting, before Eric pointed towards Popular Banana “and this is our guilds number one Priest, and self proclaimed number one beauty Ashton.”

Silver greeted the three “Hi, please just call me Silver, I thank you in advance for your help.”

Sofia nodded, while Ashton spoke a greeting in a gentle tone”Haha, no problem I’ve heard of your skill from Eric, and with a single glance I can tell that you have potential to be as great as me.

Eric Scratched his head before saying “Sorry about Ashton he is also the most arrogant member in the guild, but he is quite kind.”

Silver had no issue with this and nodded towards Eric. He explained the the requirements for his quest before sharing it with the group. They exited out the North Gate towards the Goblin Territory. After going through the low level zones they spotted there first group of seven Goblins. Goblins were able to use basic weapons and tended to move around in small groups.

Sofia instantly walked up to them and activated . Silver had already activated Stealth and as soon as taunt was activated he used , followed by a second .

Silver instantly killed a goblin, immediately moving on towards a second Goblin.

Eric was also no slouch slowly grappling two goblins to death a without allowing them to chance to retaliate. He seemed to of had quite a bit of experience in martial arts.

The Team quickly killed off the rest of the Goblins; Eric killed two Goblins; Sofia killed one, and Silver killed the remaining four Goblins. Ashton did not have to heal at all in this kind of fight.

Sofia, Eric, and Ashton were all rather shocked, they did not expect Silver to be so efficient in killing off the Goblins. After about a half-hour Ashton reached level 5, and the party reached the Goblin Chief.
