Dragons Heart - Chapter 2
It is the year 2000, it is the start new millennium and the start of a young boy’s life. On July 26, 2000, Takeo Ryuumaru, a son of a Dragonkin was born. Born in a town called Sakurai, Takeo and his older brother, Draken, and his older sister, Kaida, had to attend school like all other kids their age. Takeo and his siblings had their powers sealed off in special items called Dragonshards until they’re ready or the time comes. So, they went through kindergarten all the way to 10th grade living a normal life. That is until the fall of 11th grade.
“Yo, Takeo you ready to go to lunch?” said Jeremy, a friend of Takeo. “Hell yeah, man,” Takeo said. Both of them rush to Takeo’s car to go get lunch and come back to school and eat it. “Hey, what you feel like it eating?” Jeremy asked. “Just a burger is fine,” Takeo replied. “Whateva man, you paying?” Jeremy asked. “Dude, it’s your turn to pay remember,” Takeo reminded him. Jeremy fell silent. “Oh yeah, crap,” Jeremy finally said. After getting their burgers at McDonald’s, they rushed out the door and jumped into Takeo’s car. As Takeo jumped into the car, a shiny object fell out of his bookbag. “What the?!” said Takeo surprisingly. “What?” Jeremy said. Takeo ignored him as he was focused on the crystal-like object that fell out. “It’s nothing,” finally said Takeo. Takeo, of course, knew what it was. They eventually left for the school.
At the school, Takeo showed his friends the crystal. “Oooooo, it looks so awesome,” said Akihiro Toshiaki, a foreign exchange student and Takeo’s best friend,” you said it was a family heirloom”? “I said it was a family treasure!!” Takeo said, annoyed. “Sorry, bruh,” Akihiro said. Takeo pondered why it was in his bag. “Weird, there are words in it,” said Nina Anders, top girl in their school’s NJROTC drill team, as she snatched the crystal from Takeo. “What the hell, Nina, don’t snatch, ” Takeo shouted. Nina ignored him and said, ” I can’t read it, must be Latin”. Takeo became agitated, snatched it back and said, ” let me see, I can read it, probably.” Takeo looked at the words inscribed in the crystal.
The words on it were definitely not Latin. “It’s…Dragonic,” Takeo said confused. “Dragonic, the hell is Dragonic?” Akihiro asked, more confused than Takeo. Takeo explained what Dragonic is to his friends. “…ohhhh…,” his friends all said. “Weird, why can I read it, hmm,” said Takeo. Jessica Black, a “close” friend to Takeo and a top student, walked up and said, ” You can read it, then read it for us.”. Everyone in the group leaned over in anticipation. “… well, OK I’ll read it,” Takeo said as he gave in to their enthusiasm. So, he began reading the inscription. “Renthsj wer zezhuanth lex ekess awaken dout zezhuanth vers,” Takeo read. There was a awkward pause afterwards. “It means “Speak the ancient word to awaken your ancient power” he explained. “Still weird, though,” said Jeremy.
Then, a new inscription appeared on the crystal. “Huh, the text changed!” Takeo exclaimed. “What it say?” Akihiro wondered. “ibasfarshan kaprai” Takeo read. “Flame Emperor”. The crystal exploded in a flash of red light and a explosion of blazing fire-like energy. In the mist of the red light and blazing fire-like energy, Takeo undergoes a powerful transformation.
