Dragon's Wrath: The Cursed Returnee - Chapter 312 Final Battle (24)
Chapter 312 Final Battle (24)
“I can see the logic… every time you almost kill me, I return stronger,” Ethan said. “I must be a Saiyan. “This isn’t like my Super Saiyan form level three, but it is pretty useful. Try to kill me again. I will be sure to return with a better plan and technique.”
The new black omni armor worked by Ethan changed the output of energy in some areas. Thanks to that, he could move the bonus that he would gain in parameters like resistance, physics, and accuracy into strength, speed, and endurance… which literally doubled the bonus that it granted to those parameters.
While that was good and all, everyone was wondering yet again if Ethan had lost his mind… taunting the enemy like that wouldn’t do any good… he had to cause as much damage as possible before the beast had the chance to fight for real… unless he had something in mind.
“I will draw his attention,” Ethan said via telepathy. “I realized that I can do something else via telepathy as well, so get used to it as fast as possible and back me up.”
Ethan transmitted the knowledge of the new omni armor to his friends via telepathy. As the information flowed into their minds, a wave of intensity washed over them, causing a slight headache as their consciousness grappled with the influx of new insights and techniques. Yet, amidst the initial discomfort, a sense of awe and excitement took hold. n)-𝑂-)𝔳(-𝑒-)𝗅(/𝔟-)I/-n
In a matter of moments, Ethan’s friends absorbed the intricacies and intricacies of the omni armor, their minds opening to the immense possibilities it offered. They marveled at the enhanced defense and adaptability it provided, recognizing the profound impact it would have on their individual fighting styles. It was a transformational gift, a glimpse into the potential they had yet to fully realize.
Ethan focused on the enemy again… despite his jokes and what he said to his friends, he was fully aware that they were still terribly outmatched… they would need something else to defeat the giant beast, and they needed to think of it fast.
“You are more stubborn than a cockroach.”
“My, thank you,” Ethan said. “You aren’t half bad looking either.”
The monster looked even more pissed for a moment. Still, then its single eye calmed down… in the next moment, the giant beast fired two small beams of energy… two small but insanely fast and powerful beams that pierced Ethan’s heart and head.
“Try to recover from this or think of any other way to get stronger while your heart stops beating and your brain working.”
Before Ethan began to fall, Emily used the effect of her cloak on him, and then she used healing in a quick succession to negate the damage before it could truly kill him… little by little, the wounds began to heal. However, that made her become the next target of the giant beast.
The monster fired two beams of energy at her heart and head as well, but much to everyone’s surprise, Ethan moved and blocked the attack in time. His arms were pierced instead, but at least he avoided the lethal damage.
“I never learn… I always keep my resistance low…” Ethan muttered while his body was getting heavy and his mind foggy.
“Emily, heal him… I will buy some time,” Dante said, and then he used Omni Armor.
Dante assumed a defensive stance while he moved to the front of the group, and Ethan fell to his knees since he hadn’t recovered yet.
Anna tried to use a bunch of potions on Ethan, but their effects were being nullified… it had the power of chaos that prevented things from returning to their original state.
As the battle intensified, Dante’s movements became a blur of speed and precision. His attacks resonated with unparalleled accuracy with each precise strike, driving the tentacles back and repelling the monster’s advances.
The air crackled with energy as Dante unleashed a relentless barrage of strikes, his sword dancing through the air with deadly grace. Each movement was calculated and purposeful, aimed at exploiting the slightest opening in the monster’s defenses. With a series of swift slashes and lightning-fast thrusts, he sent shockwaves through the battlefield, severing the tentacles and forcing the beast to recoil in pain.
With her senses heightened, and her focus sharpened, Aline stood at the ready, prepared to deploy a powerful magic barrier should the need arise. Her innate connection to the elements allowed her to harness the forces of nature with ease, channeling them into a formidable shield of protection. Her hands tingled with energy as she prepared to unleash her magic, her determination shining in her eyes.
Simultaneously, Aline called upon her deep bond with the elemental spirits. Four ethereal beings materialized around her, their presence exuding an aura of ancient wisdom and untamed power. Each spirit took its place, positioned strategically to guard against any threat that might approach from different angles.
Anna and Mary, their magical abilities intertwined, summoned forth a magnificent creation of ice and magic—a towering ice golem. The massive figure stood proudly, its crystalline form glistening in the light. It was a testament to the girls’ bond and their profound mastery over the elements.
The ice golem, guided by Anna and Mary’s command, lumbered forward with purpose. With each step, the ground beneath it trembled, and its mighty fists clenched tightly. The golem’s size and strength were awe-inspiring, and its icy exterior offered a formidable defense against the onslaught of the giant monster.
As the ice golem advanced, it unleashed a flurry of devastating attacks. Its fists slammed down with bone-shaking force, sending shockwaves through the air. The monster recoiled under the assault, its defenses tested against the relentless onslaught of the golem’s icy strikes. Ice shards erupted from the golem’s body, piercing the air and lacerating the monster’s flesh, inflicting significant damage.
Meanwhile, Ian soared through the chaotic battlefield, his nimble movements facilitated by the enhanced capabilities of the omni armor. His eyes keenly searched for any vulnerabilities in the monster’s defenses, focusing on the creature’s eyes as potential targets. With each graceful maneuver, he positioned himself strategically, aiming to strike at the monster’s most sensitive spots.
