Dream Life - 469 Episode IX: Summer Dwarf Festival: Later
The Summer Dwarf Festival also entered the good realm.
The vote in the liquor and liquor sector of the liquor tasting is over and the tally is closed.
Not only the Dwarves, but also many people gather in front of the main venue as the Blacksmith Guild officials told them about it all around the venue.
Confirming that the Dwarves, arguably the protagonists, had gathered, I took the stage again.
“We’re done tallying about the distilled liquor sector. This time we have three awards: the Producer and Consumer Awards, and the Grand Prize. The Producer Award was the highest rated by distillers, the Consumer Award was the highest rated by Dwarves, and the Grand Prize was the highest rated of all.”
The Dwarves are convinced of my explanation. Because they are producers themselves, because they understand that ratings can change with the maker and the user.
“We shall now begin with the Producer’s Award…”
Everyone takes a breath there.
“It’s Seawell Brandy, a distilled liquor from the Marquis of Seawell!
Marquis Seawell and Viscount Radford rise to my word. And he came up to the stage waving his hand.
No trophies or prizes were originally offered at this event. It’s bad for the Dwarves, but because I don’t have a very good impression myself of ranking alcohol.
It’s just the first distilled liquor department, so souvenirs are available.
Made a plate out of polished copper, wrote letters there with metallic magic, and pasted them into a tree. Even so, it’s not a handful, it’s an easy one I made in about an hour.
Beatrice holds that plate and hands it to Lord Seawell. So the applause of 10,000 lightning echoed into the venue.
“I didn’t expect to receive such an honorable award! The craftsmen of my land will be proud of this award. Of course, I’m proud of you too!
Marquis Seawell said so with excitement and put up the plate.
A big round of applause springs up from the venue again. Provide a brief commentary where the applause has settled.
“The Seawell Brandy is very fragrant, unlike the one in the village of Lasmore. The best characteristic is the good aroma of the original grape, but more than that I was impressed with the arms of the artisans who maximized its aroma. I’m very excited to see what this brandy will taste like after ten or twenty years.”
“I feel the same way,” the Marquis nodded loudly in my words.
Confirm that the Marquis has returned to his seat and move on to the introduction to the next award.
“So here’s the Consumer Award. This was a very close fight…”
The venue quiets down again. The Dwarves in particular even forgot to drink to the expectation that their liquor name would be called next.
“… The Consumer Award is four years of oak cask from Slayside, Ars, King’s Capital of the Kingdom of Kaum!
At the next moment, the Dwarves at General Headquarters will say, “Ooh!!” “The roar rose,” he immediately said, “” Sieg Scotch! “” Turns into a cry.
Ulrich goes up on the stage in rep.
Mel held the plate and handed it to him, “Congratulations”.
So I put up the plate, just like the Marquis, and said, “Sieg Scotch! scream.”
Regardless of their affiliation, the Dwarves, in their cry of praise, said, “” Sieg Scotch! “” Summarize.
Likewise, Queen Katrina stood up and said, “Sieg Scotch! shouting,” but no one cared.
Ulrich starts talking where the Dwarves’ voices have quieted down.
“I’m honestly glad that Non Ra’s Scotch was appreciated! ……
So the applause boils down from the inhabitants of the village, but Ulrich squeezes his expression, “But not yet! scream.”
And look at me and Scott.
“There are no Scotches listed here from Lasmore this time! You can’t have your chest in first place with this. Next time I’ll bring you something grand to cross with Lord Scott’s Scotch!
In that word, the Dwarves said, “Yes, yes! screaming,” I step on my feet and agree.
Wait until the venue is settled and give a lecture.
“Slayside oak casks were very outstanding. Alcohol irritation is too strong because it is young, but the complex aroma above it spreads to the first bite. Further, I even felt sweet like dried fruit and chocolate. I think it’s commendable to have created so much stuff in this short period of time.”
The Scots snort loudly at the words.
“As I said earlier, the votes were really marginal. The second was three years of non-peet in Hogshead, Welburn, and the third was three years of heavy peet in favor of Pete in Bowmoor Village, Slayside, but only with enough discrepancies to say the same…”
Daegenhardt of the Wellburn branch has a regrettable look on his face, and the other branches have also dropped their shoulders to Ars for taking first and third place.
“We will now present the grand prize”
You already think it’s one way or the other, I’m not as breathtaking as I was earlier.
“The grand prize is…… three years of Hogshead’s non-peet in Wellburn!
That’s where the Dwarves twitch.
“As I said earlier, it was second in consumer assessment. And the second place in producer ratings and the fact that both ratings were very high is why it was a grand prize”
Daegenhardt was stunned, but as soon as he stood up, he came up expressing his happiness with his body so much that he seemed to skip.
When Sharon held the plate and handed it to him, “Congratulations,” there was still a round of applause for 10,000 lightning here.
“Welburn’s scotch was very delicate. Not only was it a polite way to make it, but it must have taken care of the details even in storage. I think that’s the factor that pushed Scott and the craftsmen to appreciate. Of course the special medals are artisans, but it’s no exaggeration to say that Jonathan Water, head of distillation, is one of the special medals.”
“Uhm. Let’s make sure Johnny knows. Your efforts have been rewarded.”
That’s what Dagenhardt said as he stroked the plate satisfactorily.
“On a general note, I am surprised that both I and the Scots Distillers were very high level. There was also a lot of gleaming stuff that leaked from the award this time. Five years later, ten years later, there were scotches with enough potential to reverse them, and some, like rum, were delicious enough while drawing a line with previous distilled liquors. That’s not what Chief Drexler said earlier, but I didn’t think the village of Rasmore was going to do either.”
So the Scots distillers nod loudly.
“More distilled liquor will be brought in from more branches after next time. We are also thinking about competing with alcohol of the same age, not with mature liquor called the Zack Collection. And let me prove to you that the village of Rasmore will continue to be the best Scotch region in the world!
“You can’t even beat Nona! Ulrich’s voice sounded, and the Dwarves said,” Well!, “indicates consent.
A round of applause boiled down from the Scots for my proclamation, and then spread to the Dwarves and finally to the entire venue, from the entire venue: “Sieg Scotch!” The voice rose.
Reports then came in that the aggregation of the brewing liquor sector was over.
The brewing liquor sector was a winner of one of the Seawell wines. Even though the wine alone is excellent, the Marquis Seawell and Viscount Radford served the matching aged cheese.
It is surprising that a darker red wine was chosen than a cold beer in this heat, but it tasted so high that many people recognized its value.
Even though long-distance transfers were made during this period, the failure to lose the quality of delicate wines and aged cheeses is one of the winning factors.
There was an incredible effort hidden about it.
The Marquis accompanied a precious water attribute magician, constantly making ice and keeping the temperature of the wine from rising.
Likewise, the cheese is kept chilled in special containers to preserve its quality. The container was a reference to the ice refrigerator I used before.
“How about our cheese,” the Marquis proudly told me. Because I was confident in wine, I asked only about cheese.
“Wash type…… that’s what you washed at Seawell Brandy too. This is great……”
“You know that much,” the Marquis says, “but it’s not strange to hit it because I’m the one who taught him how to do this.
Since it is a hot season, I thought the aging would be too advanced and the ammonia odor would be stronger, but that was not the case, and the aromatic sweetness of the red wine was combined with the intense aroma of honey.
“We’ve also considered aging on the move. I had anxiety in my first attempt, but if Lord Zacharias would admire it, it would have been a success.”
Viscount Radford has a relief look on his face, but so many people roar at this, especially Beatrice, a Seawell wine follower, who never let go of the glass all the time.
“This guy is delicious. I could live with this cheese and wine.”
Liddy and I were stunned by the words, but I snorted myself.
By the way, red wine is a five-year-old wine from the village of Moulin, a grape region discovered by Beatrice, packed in a bottle I made. Seems like you can make an unbeatable bottle of mine now, but it wasn’t stable yet at the time, so they reused what I made.
Seawell wine and cheese were overwhelming and the impression faded, but the second place in the brewing liquor sector was Fishburger and Ars lager at the Robbins Chamber of Commerce.
The lager belongs to a neat pilsner type for Georg Stoke, a famous Dwarf at headquarters. The flavor is fine of course, but it looks like the chilled lager was appreciated on a hot day.
By the way, the Roser Chamber of Commerce pizza went hand in hand with the light red wine, but the vote didn’t grow because of the overwhelming Seawell wine and the fact that they didn’t pick beer in the summer heat.
And finally, the results of the original purpose, the Blacksmith Skills Assessment, were announced.
First place, as expected, was the magic sword of Ulrich’s four attributes, an overwhelming number of votes.
The second was the sword of Gunter Fink, branch chief of the Imperial Branch, a large two-handed sword of Adamantite that conferred three attributes: gold, wood and fire.
The magic sword of the three attributes was no longer unusual, but it was appreciated that he struck a large sword with an Adamantite that was difficult to handle.
Ulrich’s words tell the story of Gunter’s efforts: “You shouldn’t have had a chance to strike so many swords in the Imperial Capital, but you’ve advanced so far so well”.
This resulted in an increase in the allocation of Zach collections for the Imperial Branch at once. Conversely, although the Welburn branch manager, Dagenhardt, struck the sword, there has been no novelty since the last one, with a relative decline in ratings and a significant decrease in the percentage of appropriations.
“I’m terrified to go home to Welburn……” I was impressed that the rigid Dägenhardt was genuinely frightened.
I exhaled loudly that it was finally all over.
“It’s for you,” Liddy said, handing me his first big glass of seawell wine.
“It may be a little too cold because I cooled it down,” Sharon is afraid, but when he put his mouth on it, it was at an exquisite temperature.
“It’s perfect,” he praised, blushing. Still, the novelty is faint.
“I kept this cheese too,” Beatrice says, taking out the washed cheese.
“Master Ignacious said it would taste better if paired with this bread,” Mel said, offering a thin slice of hard-based bread like French bread.
What an embarrassment for my wives to take care of. Perhaps he’s trying to make me forget that it was full of drinks about Luna.
The five of us had a relaxing drink, but rarely the Dwarves’ invitation hangs. And the merchants who have been so open don’t stop by.
I wonder why, but I still didn’t know why.
“I asked Ulrich and Beltram. He wants time without family water. Then he told the merchants about it. Until nightfall, they’re gonna let you have a relaxing drink.”
“Until night? That means after that…”
“Of course you drink all night. It’s a corner festival, so we all make a scene to forget the bad things.”
Mel and “We’ll be with you,” laughed Beatrice’s words, and Sharon smiled, “I’m fine because I leave the drinking thing to the guild officials,” too.
Though I thought you were being cared for after all, I was wondering if this could happen because I’m a couple.
