Dropped I Became A God - Chapter 41 Ari
In the console, Karl was looking over the world and admiring his creation. He looked at what the different gods did. Adum was in the afterlife, doing his job like he always did. Hoemis was in his dojo, teaching his new student. Aphy was a teacher and enjoyed her job.
Last but not least, Mutyx made someone immortal.
Karl enjoyed his world. It might not be perfect as with anything, there was still evil. In fact, as Karl was looking over the world, a hundred dragons have gathered and are planning to attack the Ancient Ones’ biggest city.
Even with all of that, it was still his creation.
As Karl surveyed his world, he suddenly got a notification from the system.
[You have received a PM.]
Playing games basically his whole life, he knew what PM meant, it stood for private message. This was the first time he had received a PM, and he didn’t even know if it was possible.
“Open the message,” Karl ordered the system.
[Ari:] Hello! My name is Ari, a fellow god. Please respond as soon as you get this.
Karl figured that there were other gods like him, but he didn’t know that you could contact them. A virtual keyboard appeared in front of him as he thought of replying.
[Karl:] Hello, Ari. This is a surprise. To be honest, I didn’t even know you could contact other gods, but I never tried. Why did you contact me?
With the press of a button, the message was sent. After a few seconds, Karl received a reply.
[Ari:] That’s ok. The system doesn’t really help you after the starting tutorial. I am contacting you because you are one of the new gods that have joined recently. I am a pretty old god and have done a good job surviving thus far. I’m inviting you to my club, which helps new gods.
[Karl:] You’re not wrong about that. I am interested, but how do I know you aren’t lying? And even then, what do I gain from joining your club?
[Ari:] You won’t know that I’m lying, so you’ll just have to trust me on this one. There are a lot of things to gain from joining my club. You’ll have allies that will help you out in wars with other gods, we can help you if you’re running low on points, if you’re ever confused, we’ll help you out in the club chat. What about this, you can ask me one question, and I’ll give you some info about it.
Karl considered whether he should join the club. It seemed like it would be a good choice if he joined, and he did want to know about some stuff. He considered what question he should ask, before making up his mind.
[Karl:] Hmm, what is this war with other gods?
[Ari:] Oh! That’s easy and that’s one of the first things newbies ask. You see, once a planet becomes strong enough, dimensional rifts will open that lead to other gods’ worlds. Don’t worry, rifts won’t happen all the time, and you’ll get matched with other gods of the same ranking as you. If you want more info, you’ll have to join, so will you?
In the end, Karl chose to join, as it would benefit him now and in the future.
[Karl:] I’ll join, but I have one more question. Can I leave whenever I want?
[Ari:] Yes, of course. You can leave whenever you want. I’ll invite you now.
[Ari has invited you to the club, [New Gods and Gods Community].]
[Will you join?]
[Y/N]
“Yes, I will join,” Karl replied.
[You have joined the club, [New Gods and Gods Community].]
[You now have access to [Club Chat].]
Right as Karl joined the club, he received another message from Ari.
[Ari:] Nice, you joined! Welcome, and we’ll do our best to help you with anything. If you’re confused about anything, PM me, or ask people in the club chat.
[Karl:] Can you tell me about the additional info about wars?
[Ari:] Of course! Even though it’s called wars, you don’t have to go to war with the other god. You can befriend the other god and you can send some of your people to their world and they can send their people to your world.
[Karl:] Alright, that makes sense. What about the rifts? Do they stay there forever?
[Ari:] It depends. If you go to war with another god and you win, you will now own their world and anything on it, and the rift will forever be there. If you befriend the god instead, you and the other god can either choose to keep it open or close it. If no one wins the war and you don’t befriend the other god, the rift will eventually disappear. Is that all?
[Karl:] Yes, that’s all, but I’ll probably ask a bit more questions when I get confused.
[Ari:] That’s fine. Ask as much as you want. If I don’t respond, ask someone else as I’m probably busy.
Karl closed his PMs and wondered about some stuff. He wondered about what he would do if he was in a war with another god. Obviously, he would try to befriend them, but if that didn’t work, then it would be kill or be killed.
Karl looked over at Mutyx, who had been watching the anime about pirates.
“I just had tha greatest idea,” Mutyx said.
“Oh yeah? What’s that?” Karl asked.
“Tha ships in this anime be for water, but what if I create one for tha air? It’s genius, isn’t it?”
“It’s genius alright, but would you even use it? Aren’t you occupied with your shop and now you have a new assistant.”
“Yer right. I probably wouldn’t even use it. Aha, maybe I can hide it somewhere an’ bury treasure in it for someone ta find?”
Karl nodded. “It sounds good. Whoever finds it will be a very lucky man. This floating ship would probably be a legendary artifact.”
