- Chapter 16:The Dungeon Lord farming project began!
Now that I had enough resources to summon everything it was time to begin my farming project.
First I went to the circular room in the first floor, which I secretly named it in my mind as farming camp.
As I arrived, I summoned many rocks and made a 1 meter high rock road all around the room.
Then I created a rock road from the south entrance to the tower in the center, I made the road circle around the tower and keep on going until it reached the north exit the room. After I was done, I repeated the process from East to West.
My plans were to add a Boss room right before the farming camp, on the South room, to ensure no invaders would mess with it. Fortunately, for now, the entrance was still sealed, so there was no need to waste resources on the Boss nor it’s room.
On the East side of the flower camp I made another room, which I thought of using as food storage. Initially I had thought about using the Dungeon Storage instead, but when I noticed that all deposits and withdraws could only be made by me, I was forced to give up the idea, after all I have better things to do than work distributing food all day long.
On the West side, a room for the farming equipment was made. Right now there was no farming equipment, but soon there would be a pile of seeds stored here, after I summon them.
Finally, on the North side, there was a little room leading to the stairs to the next floor.
After finishing building all the roads, it was time to fill what was left with soil, and thrust me, there was a lot left.
As I filled the room with soil, I started to wonder if I had gone too far. Right now there was only me and Muddy in the dungeon. Even if I summoned the Sprites, some helpers and a blacksmith, our numbers won’t exceed 20. Looking at this huge field I’m building, I think it can feed a hundred people or maybe even more…
“Hmm… Well, after I rank up, the dungeon will grow again and more creatures will be summoned. Even if it’s overkill right now, it may prove to be not enough later…”
Trying to convince myself that it was just a matter of time, I kept working, expanding the fields until I level everything to the same height as the road I made before.
With all ground work done, it was time to start the summons.
“All right, which one should I begin?…”
As I looked around, the darkness reminded me I still didn’t add any light in the room and I was only able to see because of the Mana Sight.
Let’s start with The Sun!
Climbing to the top of the tower, using the stairs located inside it, I reached the top in a few minutes.
I drew the summoning circle on top of the platform I had prepared and started calling the Summoning command.
…
As the moment approached, I couldn’t help but let my chuunibyou side take over and scream in a majestic voice:
“Tremble before me mortals, for I am the one who Summon THE SUN!!!!”
Thinking back, maybe I should have just skipped this part and told you I summoned it, but now it was too late…
As the summoning circle gathered Mana and the gem stones start disappearing and a ball of light started taking form on the platform. As it finish taking form, all resources and Mana were gone, but the price was worth it, was what I though as I looked around and the whole room was illuminated by The Sun’s blinding light.
“…Maybe I should have made the room a bit bigger…”
One moment the fields are too big, next second the fields are too small…
Sigh… Life is always funny…
Next are the Water Sprite. The question is…should I summon the eggs or Babies?
