- Chapter 84:The Dungeon Lord sends people to work.
That’s enough. Let’s save some Mana for later. It’s already morning, time to take a look around and see if Bia or Stone are already awake.
Back at the Farming Camp I saw the kids playing with the thunder puppy and… is that Ryuk riding the wolf?
“G-g-gyaaaaa!!!!!!”
Yup, it’s Ruyk, I could recognize his annoying voice anywhere.
Ruyk desperately screamed as he rode the wolf who was running right and left while letting out sparks of electricity while the kids surrounding it were laughing and pointing at him.
I never thought the goblin was this good at riding. Even the giant centipede I rode seems easy compared to this jumping wolf. I wonder what is his trick…
“M-m-m-master! S-s-ave Ru-u-u-yk!!”
Well, he seems to be having fun, let’s not disturb him.
Leaving the kids behind, I reached the elves refugees camp and found Stone lazying around a hammock.
“Yo, Stone. Good Morning!”
“Plate! Welcome to our humble camp. Make yourself at home!”
“Stone, no matter how I see it, this whole cave is my home.”
“Then you have another motive to enjoy it! Just choose a free hammock and lay on it!”
“Damn! I knew you slave driver wouldn’t come here without some ill intentions. Go ahead, tell me about it!”
“While you were sleeping, I finished the second field as you asked. So it’s time to grab some seeds and plant them.”
“What!? Already!? I just mentioned this yesterday… how did you build it so fast?”
“Hehehe, that’s one of the blessings and curses of my current race. So? Ready to work?”
“Sigh… All right, all right! All I need to do is organize the people right? I will do it in a second, just let me stretch out a bit…”
“Nothing stops you from helping them plant as well…”
“No way, Plate! My back can’t handle that!”
“OK, while you prepare, I will go pass the good news to Bia.”
Leaving Stone behind, who was making some kind of strange dance as he stretched out his body, I walked to the Humans refugee camp.
Inside the camp I found Bia, Leticia and their boyfriends distributing soup to the villagers.
Seeing me, Leticia greets me with a happy voice.
“Hello Plate, did you come to enjoy the soup?”
“Hi Leticia, and no, don’t worry, I won’t steal your food.”
“Hey! What do you mean by that!? Do I appear like one of those people who don’t share their food with others?”
I scan Leticia’s body and with a mischievous smile answer.
“Yeah, actually you do.”
Seeing our interaction, her boyfriend get’s jealous and puts himself in front of her.
“What do you want, monster?”
“Nothing much, I just came to deliver some news to Bia.”
Bia finishes pouring the soup on a cup rises her head upon hearing her name.
“Me again? Can’t you talk to Silver instead?”
“So he can later push the job to you? I think it’s easier if you just give up and accept your responsibilities.”
Bia’s eyes grow wet as she hers my words.
“Damn, Plate! Even you!!”
“Reality won’t change even if you cry, so want to hear it?”
“Sigh…Just tell me already!”
“The field you asked is complete, so you can find some people to work on it, the sooner, the better.”
“WHAT!? YOU ALREADY FINISHED IT!?”
“Yeah, I did. It’s just on the other side of the storage. Feel free to visit when you have time.”
“You work too fast!… So, what you want us to do?”
“Just gather all seeds you have and plant them there. They should sprout way faster than outside…”
“Then we have a problem. All extra seeds we had were sold to you.”
“Hmm…. Then, talk to Stone and trade some seeds with him. If he doesn’t have enough, then we will have a problem… I may be able to get some seeds from the Dungeon, but I will need Mana and gems for that, so let’s leave it as the last option.”
“OK…after I finish here, I will talk to him.”
“Good work. Cya.”
“Sigh…you drop the bomb and leaves like this?”
“What did you expect? I’m a busy man! Bye bye.”
“””Bye…”””
