Vitiate looked at his rewards with a strange expression, this was because of this Horror Circus Bundle. He didn’t say anything and looked at the description of the bundle.
Horror Circus Bundle: A bundle of monsters that’ll spawn once summoned. The Monsters are in the description below.
It was a simple description, but the name got him thinking of what possible monsters would spawn, so he looked at the description below.
Monsters
Killer Clown (x10)
Murderous Doll (x8)
Cursed Teddy Bear (x6)
Jack-in-a-Box (x5)
Corrupted Jester (x3)
Telekinetic Clown (x1)
“What the…” Vitiate was speechless, there were clown type monsters? These monsters were strange, they were deemed as mysterious type monsters. These types of monsters were created from the fears of kids.
They were manifestations of their imagination, there was a story behind it dealing with a circus that came into town one day. There was more to it on how and why these strange monsters came to be, it was something unnatural.
Vitiate had something like a monster-dex that gave him information on the monsters he would ever get. There wasn’t any reason to use these monsters now, so he didn’t summon them, he would wait until a later date.
“Of course, I have to make a circus for these types of monsters, the terrain would have to be a spooky forest with the circus in the middle of it all!”
Vitiate wanted to make it where you would have to go through the circus to make it to the next floor. Next, he pulled out the cursed weapon, this type of weapon wasn’t something anyone could touch but he could.
The weapon had a blue light around it which indicated its grade. Vitiate looked at what the weapon could do, he found that it could change into any weapon he wanted!
“This weapon is cursed, it even has 5 seals on it that need to be removed to awaken its true power. If I were to take the seal off, its grade may go up another level. The thing is, what are the requirements to remove a seal or two?”
Vitiate then pointed his attention to the storage ring, it was the legendary ring in all fantasies that held things in a pocket space. He had always wondered how they worked, he put his finger on the ring and found that he could sense everything in the ring, which was nothing.
“The space in this ring is enough to fit a mansion in it, this will be enough to carry some dead monsters, later. I’m thinking about creating a monster horde to attack some other monsters in this forest to subdue them!”
Yes, he wanted to conduct a mass attack in this forest, Vitiate wanted to send out some Scout crows first before doing that. Many Monsters within his Dungeon should level up with this, he even wanted to buy Mud Golems for this Raid.
Vitiate basically wanted to control this territory and capture more monsters, he was particularly gunning for that manticore he saw yesterday night. There was too much to do for this Dungeon and capturing monsters gave him Points, so why not?
With this plan in mind, he bought 7 scout crows, Vitiate already had 3 hanging out on the 1st floor. He sent the crows out and they scattered across the land, he could review the recording later if they noticed anything, even if they were killed off by something.
He was looking to destroy and capture some monster camps if he could!
“This is a weapon master card, that’ll give me the ability to understand all weapons. This is too convenient, there should be a luck or fortune stat because thigs are always within my favor!” A weapon that could change into any weapon? A skill card that could give him the ability to understand all weapons?
Vitiate crushed the skill card and particles flew into his body, with that, he learned the Skill, Weapon Mastery.
“Ah, Damn!” Once he crushed the card, he received a terrible headache, it was processing all weapons in existence and if a new one occurred, it would update! The headache lasted for 3 minutes before it stopped, Vitiate viewed his status afterward. The funny part is, there was a fortune stat, it was just hard to unlock but he didn’t know that.
Author Note: There is a Sword, Hammer, and other Masteries but he has the rarest which is Weapon Mastery.
Vitiate continued to build the training ground, he could get training puppets for free from the system. The puppets couldn’t be used to fight outside forces but were strictly meant for training only. They came with a different set of skills at their disposal, some even could use the space and time element!
“These elements are too strong, if I could have chosen these two for my innate racial traits, I would have!” These elements were things he could only buy from the Dungeon System, he couldn’t get these so easily. They cost quite a lot, so Vitiate wasn’t getting these skills no time soon.
They were only granted to the puppets for an individual to practice with, to understand what a person with these elements could and would do against you. Strength types, Element types, ranged types, they were all here for him to practice against.
This system was generous enough to let him practice against these types of things for free.
“In the future, I’ll have to buy a gravity chamber to improve myself. Yeah, we’re going Dragonball Z style for this one.” He wanted to quickly train then start working on his army to take with him for that big campaign. Vitiate was sure that such a huge monster horde would attract the attention of several people scouting in the forest, like humans, and maybe elves.
Vitiate had reviewed the map, so he would know what to expect. He didn’t care, Vitiate had the ability to hide his face with a white and black mask he could form. On this campaign, he would be in his 1st transformation so no one would recognize him later.
For his first fight, he decided to fight against a strength type since most monsters had high strength. The puppet began to transform into a shadowy figure, with no notable features besides its large size, large muscles, and pure white eyes.
The Puppet stood in place waiting for its orders. Vitiate grabbed the pole weapon and with a thought from him, it changed into a scythe. The puppet also formed a weapon in its hand, it was an Axe.
Both Vitiate and the puppet clashed, it was unknown how strong the puppet was, but its strength was high! Once the two clashed, he could easily guess that its strength was slightly higher, it may have strength but he had higher speed with much more backing him. Vitiate quickly backed away, it would be best to not contend with these types head-on now.
The puppet didn’t give him a chance to breathe and charged towards him swinging its Battle Axe. With a simple attack like this, he was easily able to dodge, but once the Axe hit the ground, it was pulverized as cracks formed around it.
Vitiate quickly moved around the puppet to attack the head to kill it, but the puppet used one of its arms to punch out toward him.
“Smart, huh!?” Vitiate grinned then his weapon changed from a spear into a dagger. He quickly knocked the puppet’s hand downward, his strength wasn’t that far off from it so it lost its balance!
Vitiate was right at its head now, and with his dagger, he pierced through it!
The puppet didn’t make a sound and fell to the ground without further movement.
[Ding! Strength has gone up by +1!]
“Oh? It was like that. I like this type of training already, haha!” There were difficulty levels to these puppets, so it wouldn’t remain easy like this forever.
Vitiate continued to train daily with the strength puppet for a week, this was the level 1 difficulty. After a week, it didn’t give him any more points, he fought the thing twice a day. It used different brute like weapons like a Mace, Axes, Spiked Maces, and large Hammers.
During this training, he went to feed and make sure the Demi-Human and Dragon ate. This floor only had honey bees on it, so there was no game to hunt here. They were trapped on this floor pretty much, if they left this floor to the 10th floor, they would arrive at a gate that blocked them off.
This was the boss room of the Sludge Monster. Lily had the ability to warp people just like Vitiate so this was how they got to this floor.
After a week of training, he received 700 Dungeon points as his weekly currency. Vitiate wanted to train his speed and dexterity next but he had to check his evolved monsters first before that. With that, he appeared on the 5th floor in the Boss Room.
The Golem wasn’t in its melted Mud state because it wasn’t made of mud anymore. The Golem just stood in place silently, it didn’t move an inch. If someone were to see this they would mistake it for a statue without question. The Golem was brown in color now with a green eye light in the middle of its head. The Golem stood taller than all the monsters in his Dungeon, it was 25 feet in height!
Once he checked its status he found out that it was a Rock Golem. The next evolution for the golem would be a Stone Golem, which was a refined version of rock.
Vitiate nodded in satisfaction, he couldn’t buy any other Golems other than Mud Golems off the system, for now. He needed to make this room bigger since the size of this Golem increased but he wanted to check the other monsters first.
Just as he was about to warp to the 2nd floor, a spatial crack appeared in the void, and Lily appeared out of it.
“Huh? What’s up, Lily?” Vitiate asked.
“Master, the Birdies have hatched from those eggs that the goblins bought back that day!” Lily quickly said.
“What!?” Vitiate didn’t say anything else and warped away to the 11th floor!
