Dungeon System: World Of Chaos War - Chapter 30 Monster Training Regiment
Suddenly many figures appeared around Vitiate with a flash of light, some of them gave weird chuckles once they appeared. Vitiate’s eyebrows knitted, he looked over every monster that had spawned from the Horror Circus Bundle.
[Ding! Your Dungeon’s strength has upgraded to Code Grey Grade 1!]
[Ding! Handing out two free monsters!]
Vitiate couldn’t pay attention to the notification now and looked around.
There were 6 different entities, what stood out the most were the Jack-in-the-Boxes. They were placed in big boxes, they would and could pop out with different weapons in their hands.
The jack-in-the-box was a clown, he wore half red and half yellow clothing of a clown while sporting a Santa Claus-like hat. It knew how to control the box like it was apart of its body, it even used the box as a defense method. It wore typical white clown makeup, but its nose wasn’t red like most clowns, it was instead yellow this time around for all 5 of them.
The Murderous doll came in many different forms and looks, but one of them reminded him of Chucky! Vitiate scratched his head, he ran over its ability, it seemed this doll would mainly sneak attack people. It Sneak skill was so high along with its ability to overcome perception skills to some degree.
Like you’d expect, it came with a knife but the grade of the knife was of the Rare Class. They had high speed and intelligence, so they were good together in coordinated attacks. There were male and female of these types of monsters but they couldn’t breed, obviously.
The dolls kept little smiles on their faces, it was the type of smile where their teeth couldn’t be seen. Their faces seemed frozen but it was only an act to catch people off guard!
Vitiate looked at the cursed teddy bears, they were another decently strong creature. They were small in size but from reading their status sheet, he knew they could grow in size similar to Tibbers!
They were black in color, it looked like most of their bodies had been sown up. The Cursed Teddy bear had sharp white claws coming from its knobby arms where fingers should be. One of its eyes looked like a button while the other looked like an X was over it.
With that, Vitiate pointed his attention to the series of clowns. The first he analyzed was the Killer clown, they wore Half black and red clown suits. It had red hair but their hairstyles were different from each other, one even had a pennywise hairstyle!
The Killer Clown always had a frown on its face, some even had frowns so deep that it looked like they had seen something dreadful. They wore white gloves, but their noses were black, they only had one goal in mind, and that was to kill!
Vitiate noticed that these clowns had very high durability, so they could take a beating and still rise afterward. Some had weapons while some didn’t, they had a high strength stat and usually stabbed or choked someone to death with their iron grip.
They had a special skill called Shadow Trickery, they would form a shadow with their hands and it would come to life and attack people.
Looking at the demonstration, this skill reminded him of the scene from killer clowns from outer space where the shadow ate a group of people! This Clown could utilize the Dark element and manipulate shadows, this was its prime element. The clown wore the typical big clown shoes that were both red and black, its eyes were cold and bright red.
Vitiate turned to the Corrupted Jester, it was wearing black and white diamond patterned clothes. It had a pale white face with deep black eyeliner around its mouth and eyes, it even had a pointed tip on each end. Its eyes were yellow and unlike the others before it, it had the biggest grin on its face that revealed a row of sharp white teeth.
This was just one of the Jesters, there were two more but their clothes resembled different cards. The One described was of the diamond jester while the other two were different, one had heart patterns while the other had spade patterns on their clothes. They had different color so everything was different and not the same.
Vitiate was a little creeped out by these 3 smiling all the time. He then quickly turned his attention to the final monster, the Telekinetic Clown. This clown seemed more becoming than the other monsters.
This clown wore half purple and a half green outfit, it had a pale face with a yellow star under its left eye. The clown had sharp purple eyes that lit up every so often, it levitated in air in a crossed-legged position. It had its arms folded while wearing golden genie shoes, green aura wrapped around its body displaying its Mind Element.
What amazed Vitiate was his clean hairstyle, it was just like the jokers, what a fresh clown! The Clown’s abilities were near boss level, if not, it was. The Clown had the highest intelligence Vitiate had ever seen from a monster! However, Vitiate had seen a clown type monster on the Glory List that was far superior to this clown.
“Do you guys understand me?” Vitiate scanned the crowd of monsters and said. They looked at him and nodded without saying anything. Some of them gave weird chuckles, it seemed laughing or giggling was something they just did naturally.
“Good!” Vitiate just studied the monster’s abilities and how he could utilize them later. He decided to place them on the 20th floor for now, but this was only temporary. He turned the default cave system into a Dark forest with a bright moon shining down.
Like he said he would do before, he created a huge circus for the clowns to dwell in. The place looked like a circus amus.e.m.e.nt park. Before he could send them to their respective floors, he was greeted by Lily and Nina, who was walking with her pet Griffin. The Griffin had grown quite a bit and was now able to walk.
“Ah!” Nina stepped back and fell on her butt, she was horrified seeing the group of monsters around Vitiate. The Killer Clowns are what really scared her, she looked at their grief-stricken faces in terror! The clowns could sense her fear and glared at her deeply with sadistic eyes, Nina’s face turned pale seeing this, she felt like crying but no tears came!
Vitiate, seeing the situation quickly waved his hand, warping all the clowns to the 20th floor.
“Haha, relax, they’re allies I’ll be using in the upcoming battle.” He smiled and shook his head, he almost kept the clowns present to see more, but what if she had a terror attack or something?
“T-those w-were clown m-monsters?” Nina stood up slowly, Vitiate looked at her and saw that she had peed herself, what the heck?
“Nina, you pissed yourself, you can’t be a coward forever or you’ll end up dying in this world. I think you may be ready for some training soon!” Vitiate looked over at Lily and continued, “What brings you guys here, did something happen?” Lily was a bit surprised by the new monsters too, but she wasn’t scared, she honestly wanted to go visit these interesting looking beings later.
“The ant Queen has given birth to some strange looking ants aside from the usual. Lily and Nina just wanted to tell you so you could check them out.” Nina said.
“Oh? I’ll check it out, I put so many monster spawners on that floor for them, they should be good for now. Nina, you get cleaned up, you’ll start your training regiment tomorrow with the Goblins and Kobolds.” Vitiate said no more and warped away.
With that, he arrived on the 15th floor but directly in the nest. He was just on this floor not too long ago, he could see Goblins helping the Ant queen with food and water. All the Ant eggs had a bronze-like color to them, but there were 10 silver eggs and 2 golden eggs.
Lily had pointed out the eggs to Vitiate the minute they arrived on the floor. Once he scanned them, he knew what type of eggs they were. The silver eggs were Ant Guardians and the golden eggs were the queen’s personal bodyguards, the royal guard class.
There were Goblin warriors bringing food through a portal lily had formed. This was a portal that connected to the 2nd floor. The queen was eating while pumping out eggs at the same time, Vitiate told Lily what they were and she instantly understood.
Afterward, he went to the second floor, there were Goblins shipping food while there were Goblins being trained by the Hobgoblins. There were many creatures spawning on the 15th floor for the ants to eat but they couldn’t hunt them now. This would help later since the creatures like wild boar would have time to increase in number.
Vitiate needed as many Goblins as he could, so he wanted to spawn 120 Goblins, They would get the training they need. Goblins were cheap, they only cost 10 Dungeon Points each, this was a steal to Vitiate. This was why he relied so much on the Goblins than any other race, they didn’t cost much and they reproduced fast!
He placed 40 Goblins under the Hobgoblin Enhancer, 40 under the Hobgoblin Archer, and 40 Under the Hobgoblin warrior. They were to strictly train for the upcoming battle, he had already told them about it. Vitiate bought a few Skill books off the market, he bought 10 different types and handed them to the Hobgoblin Enhancer.
He dropped in on the 5th floor where the lizardmen were, they had seen progress but not as much. For this bout, he warped them to the 2nd floor to join in on the training regiment like the Kobolds and Goblins. Nina was going to have to join in as well, it was time for her to learn how to fight, but tomorrow was when she would get started.
There were 18 lizardmen due to them breeding, their children were adolescents and nearly a.d.u.l.ts so they could fight. Vitiate had only purchased 6 lizard men, but they had grown this much over the months.
Once he was done with that, he went to the next floor which was the 3rd floor. At this time, he could see the Ogres meditating near the Tablet silently. Vitiate viewed their status and saw that their intelligence had grown a lot. The Tablet had a limit, it would only help a creature’s intelligence reach 100 before becoming useless to them.
He didn’t need to visit them, he could see that it was effective on them, so he moved to the Eastern Orc’s den. Vitiate didn’t bother to go in, he had a bad feeling that he might see something he didn’t want to. So, he simply called out to them to come out, they needed to be apart of the big training course on floor 2.
Fifteen Pig faced Orcs soon made their way out of the den, Vitiate simply explained what needed to be done. They all nodded and he warped them all to the 2nd floor, he already told the Hobgoblins that more races would join in on this training from other floors, so they knew what to expect. Of course, how could he forget the Knolls and Western Orc, he visited them and they also joined in.
Vitiate remembered that the system gave him 2 free monsters because his Dungeon’s Danger level had gone up. He hadn’t checked yet, so he immediately brought them up to see. The Monsters appeared in card form to indicate that he owned them already.
Monsters had grades to them, so the cards were different colors due to their grade. The first monster he saw was a Minotaur, before summoning any of these creatures, he could choose their gender.
The last monster stunned Vitiate a bit, he had never heard of this type of monster before but the grade was quite high.
The monster was called a Dragon Rex, it looked like a mix of a tyrannosaurus Rex and Dragon. It was black with wings on its back, there were several spikes protruding out of its body. The Monster had small green eyes but despite the size of its eyes, it could see really well.
Vitiate thought of something and didn’t summon it, but he did summon the Minotaur to join the training course. It was taller than the Ogres with a height of 9’11, it had sturdy muscles and every time it breathed deeply, steam would come out of its nose.
Vitiate didn’t say anything much, he just told it that it would be participating in a training course. The Minotaur said ‘I understand’ and he warped it away. “Perfect! Everything has been set in motion, all I have to do now is train myself and wait.” With all his monsters training, he was sure a lot of them would evolve.
With that, he went back to his training, but he’ll peek in on them every now and then to see what was going on.
