Dungeon System: World Of Chaos War - Chapter 52 Setting Off
The next day came around smoothly, he woke up and did his daily morning routine. Today was the day he set off to the Human foothold.
There were still a few things he had to do before leaving, the first was to upgrade the floors in his Dungeon. Vitiate wanted to upgrade to the 30th floor, but he wasn’t going to put anything on them, for now.
With that, he upgraded to the 23rd, 24th, and 25th, but suddenly, he received a notification.
[Beep! The Dungeon Core has reached its limit on the number of floors it can contain! To upgrade any further, you must collect Dungeon Cores to strengthen the Dungeon Core’s capacity!]
Vitiate was at a loss for words. Now that he thought about it, his Dungeon core was still the size of a Tennis Ball! “Sigh, it looks like I’ll have to wreck that Spider Dungeon sooner than I thought! I’ll scout the Dungeon on my way to the Human Village.”
It was the least he could do, for now, he wasn’t worried about the Dungeon with the amount of Subordinates he acquired a week ago. The Dungeon didn’t even add monsters or anything new to the Dungeon System once he reached the 25th-floor threshold.
It seemed like he was being penalized!
Afterward, he went to check on Nina and the rest of his monsters. As usual, they were all training in groups, they were getting stronger. Stella wanted to evolve, but she had some ways to go before reaching the next level.
Nina learned some exclusive skills that Only Elemental Pugilist could learn. Honestly, they were quite overpowered if she were to train and level them up. Vitiate watched as she trained, she was a really motivated person, he could tell she didn’t want to be that helpless person of the past anymore.

Nina had improved allot, she was also 13 years old now. Vitiate just wanted her to practice with the skills she had now. Nina trained every day, she wanted to get strong so badly, and it was paying off.
Once he was done visiting every floor, including the Lizard and Crocodile men, he visited the Dwarves. They were stationed on the 3rd floor, they preferred Forest, rather than a jungle.
Grom and Keppler didn’t do much but grow vegetables and drink beer. Vitiate didn’t bother them after talking to them for a brief moment. These two deserved a vacation, however, Vitiate didn’t know that he would need them sooner than he thought.
Vitiate gathered all the items and coins he needed for the human village, he was going to first sign up to be an adventurer. This should allow him to have a bigger information networking pool on any subject of the world.
“Now its time to get down to business before leaving, I have to buy this Altar for those Apostles. This Altar will keep a record of them, so I can spawn more of them at a later date.”
Vitiate first had to figure out how many Apostles would be apart of the Colored Series. He quickly deemed that there would be 9 colored types, so he bought a 9 sided polygon, which was called a Nonagon.
This cost 250,000 Dungeon Points, he also bought 3 Duplication relics. They were to be placed on each end of the altar, which was in the shape of a Nonagon. Once they were placed, they would glow with the same color as the chosen Apostle.
Vitiate transferred the Monsters each into a Duplication Relic, then placed them on each end of the Altar. As expected, the White Apostle’s end lit up with White, while the others lit up with their respective colors, Green and Yellow.
[Ding! Please Name the newly created Altar!]
“The name will be called the Paramount Altar!”
The name was simple, it had a little meaning to it, but not much. There were still 6 more slots that needed to be filled before completion. Vitiate placed the Altar in the Forest and told everyone to not approach it.
Once this was done, he went to heal Lucy before doing anything else. Lucy told him that it would only require him to heal her once a month now. Vitiate could visibly see the change that she was undergoing, she was surely getting better!
After departing from her, he went to pack a few things before leaving. Vitiate also told Lily to contact him if trouble came their way that they couldn’t handle. Lily had the ability to communicate with Vitiate from anywhere at any time.
With that, he set off!
“The first thing I wanted to do is to scout that Dungeon with the Spiders. I won’t go into it, but I’ll take a look and see what it’s all about.”
Vitiate was going to destroy this Dungeon anyway, he needed to for many reasons. The reasons were simple, It was for the mission rewards, he needed Dungeon cores to level up his Dungeon Further, and because this Dungeon provoked him so many times when he was down and weak.
Vitiate moved through the trees of the Forest, jumping to each one like a ninja. He didn’t want to transform since that may draw unnecessary attention. The Forest was beautiful and green as usual, while he was jumping through the trees, he spotted many monsters interacting with each other.
Suddenly, a shadow lunged at Vitiate from the trees, it had been watching him for some time now. The monster was long and green with sharp scales on its body, its mouth was wide open as it lunged towards Vitiate, meaning to swallow him whole!
It was a snake of some sort.
Vitiate wasn’t surprised, he quickly drew his weapon, as it turned into a sword. With a single swing, the strange snake was sliced through, it fell out of the tree as both slices of it landed on the ground.
“You dumb snake, you thought!” Vitiate smirked at the snake’s attempt to sneak attack him. He jumped down the tree and recovered its body. As soon as he put its body away, he felt the ground shake beneath him!
Vitiate turned around, it was coming from the forest. He quickly jumped back into the trees and went to investigate. After two minutes, he finally reached the destination where the ground shaking quakes were coming from.
Vitiate was surprised by the scene, mainly because of the monster types. It was a battle between two large monsters that no normal person would want to get caught between. One of the monsters was a Giant Elephant with Red hair all over its body, its eyes beamed with maddening red light. It gave a loud roar before swinging its large thick trunk towards its contender.
Its foe blocked the attack; this Monster carried a large Hammer in its hands that was covered in Orange Aura. It stood around 3.5 Meters tall, its thick brown coat looked well-groomed. Its eyes showed intelligence, as it was clearly calculating the Elephant’s every move. The Beast would parry the Elephant’s trunk and dodge away from its charges. After the Elephant’s failed charge, it would attack its side to hurt and wear it down.
The Monster was a Bear, it stood on both its legs like a human. Vitiate checked its status and found that it was an Ursa Warrior, he could also see that it was a warrior of some Bear clan around here.
The Bear had armor covering its lower half, with a strap of armor going across its chest. It was clear that this Ursa Warrior could use the Earth Element do to the Coloration of Aura it was giving off.
“This might be a test of strength or something, he probably has to hunt a powerful beast and bring it back as a trophy.” Judging from what he could see from its titles, he noticed that this was a young Ursa warrior who wanted to prove himself.
Vitiate wasn’t in a rush and continued to observe silently. After 20 minutes of fighting, the Elephant started to get tired. The Ursa Warrior took hold of his Hammer with two hands and slammed it over the head of the Elephant.
A bone-crushing sound rung out, the Elephant’s eyes turned white, as it began to foam at the mouth. The Elephant fell to the ground and fainted, it could be said that it may have gotten brain damage from the attack.
After seeing the victor, Vitiate didn’t stick around and left soon after. However, after he left, the Ursa Warrior turned towards the trees, it seemed to have noticed that it was being watched, but Vitiate was long gone.
At first, it didn’t pay any mind to Vitiate because it didn’t sense any hostility. But it felt that it was strange that he only watched and didn’t show himself. Vitiate wasn’t that stealthy unless it was night time, where he could hide his presence at its peak with Night Shade.
The Ursa didn’t bother thinking about something he couldn’t figure out and continued to smash on the Elephant’s head until it died.
At this time, Vitiate continued to the Dungeon, after 30 minutes of travel, he finally made it to his destination. On his way here, there were several activities going on in the forest all the time, mainly fights between monsters.
No matter what, there was always something going on here!
Vitiate scoped the Spider Cave out from afar. There were spider webs blocking the entrance, this was a sign to anyone who wanted to venture in. If anything, it served as a warning, you better think twice before coming in here! Vitiate took out a device, this was the same device to gauge the danger level of a Dungeon. He had swooped this item up from some dead invaders of the past.
He activated it and pointed it towards the Dungeon, but it didn’t show any reading. “It seems I’m too far for it to get an accurate reading on the Dungeon Danger Level.” Just as he was about to approach the cave to get a better reading, he heard another fight.
“Does anyone in this place take a break from fighting!?” Vitiate was somewhat annoyed, it was always chaos in this forest, like, take a day off or something! However, his face changed a bit, this was because it was the sound of human voices. But who could be sure, other races can speak the human language like elves.
“Ah, forget it! I’ll go check it out, curiosity always got at me, I can’t ignore the sound of Humans!” He couldn’t shake it, he was a little nosy like the Phoenix, if anything, she was probably spying on him right now!
“If you’re watching me, then screw off you nosy bird!” Vitiate looked around, then took to the trees and raced to the location of the battle.
