Dungeon System: World Of Chaos War - Chapter 86 Surrender And Submit
The Blue-robed woman didn’t attack the Moon Bear but stayed back to attack from afar once she saw an opening. As for the others, they fought except the Spearman and Autoluycus who stayed back as well until it looked like they needed their help.
“You little teddy bear, you think roaring is going to intimidate us? What stupid overgrown rat look alike!” The pointy nose man found time to ridicule the bear, he was still furious about how the Bear had singled him out and attacked him earlier.
The Moon Bear seemed to understand what the pointy nose man said and roared in rage. What came after was natural, the Moon Bear rushed him in order to smack this guy into oblivion.
The pointy nose man smiled, he was expecting this to happen but he wasn’t frightened at all. The Moon Bear stood up, displaying its staggering height of around 8’4, completely towering over the pointy nose man.
It swung its paw towards the pointy nose man’s head, wanting to smash his head into a pulp! The pointy nose man smirked and quickly dodged, but the Moon Bear quickly smash another claw toward his left flank, meaning to break his ribs or his body in general.
The pointy nose man was surprisingly agile and dodged the incoming paw, then he followed up with a slashed at the Moon Bear armpit. Blood was drawn, but the attack was too hollow and didn’t cause much damage.
“It seems I’ll have to stab you to really do damage to you!” The pointy nose man smiled confidently. Suddenly, a light flickered over the bear’s head, but it noticed and moved away, but it was still slashed on its back.
“Roar!”
The Moon Bear swung its paw again, the person who attacked quickly press her hand over the bear’s swinging arm and retreated right away. However, before she could retreat, she was rammed by the other Moon bear’s head, knocking her back a few meters. It was a good thing she wore an armored chest plate because this Bear’s body was quite far superior to hers.
“Guys, we need to break up into teams, two people should be enough to handle one Moon bear, just avoid getting hit.” The group broke off into a par to deal with each Moon Bear individually.
There was cold sweat on the Burgundy woman’s face, she was glad she didn’t get attack by the Bear’s arm strike, or else. The Burgundy wearing woman partnered up with the pointy-nosed man, while the Roundshield man partnered up with Hera, who was the silent woman in the group.
Very quickly they started to work against the moon bears. This opponent would be threatening for most people at a lower level, but not them. The Moon Bear had good Strength and Defense, but its speed wasn’t worth mentioning for them.
They also all had Low to Middle-Grade Rare weapons that were capable of piercing their hides and hurting them. The Plan was simple and straight forward, they would stab at the Bear’s weak spots and quickly back away, while their partner would stab and slash at other vitals.
The Bears couldn’t control any Elements like their evolved states could, so they could do nothing about these attacks. They roared in rage, but they could do nothing more as they grew weaker by the second.
Seeing an opportunity, the Burgundy dressed woman brandished her short sword and swiftly stab the Bear in the neck 3 times in succession. The Moon Bears had been on guard when it came mainly to their head and neck, which could really deal serious damage to them.
Blood spewed out of the Moon Bear’s neck wildly, after she made this attack she back off again because the Bear swung its paw, but it was faster this time. Sadly, she didn’t go unscathed as she was clawed on the arm; she screeched in pain as the clothes around her arms were torn apart.
If she was just a bit late to escape, her whole arm would have been clawed off!
The Pointy nose man mainly went for the legs of the Moon Bear to stop it from chasing them. Its legs were already bloodied, so it could only roar as it bled out. With a thud, the Moon Bear breathed its last breath and fell to the ground dead.
“Hell Yeah!” The pointy nose man celebrated seeing the dead Moon Bear. The Hide of a Moon Bear could make some High-Grade Uncommon armor or maybe even Low-Grade Rare armor.
“Damnit, my arm!” The burgundy dressed woman looked at her arm in horror. Blood was squirting out of the four paw marks on it. She quickly rushed over to the Blue robed woman for medical attention.
As for the other two, they made short work of the Moon Bear as well, using the same strategy. However, no one was hurt in the fight when dealing with their Moon Bear. The Round shield man mainly invested in his Armor and shield for better defense. With this, he let his partner deal the damage since most of the people on his team invested more in their weapons than anything else.
He was able to stave off hits with little effort, allowing his partner to seriously hurt the bear and kill it without sustaining any damage. Autolycus and the rest just watched with their guard’s up; this was to avoid any other monsters from participating.
The Blue-robed woman started to help the Burgundy dressed woman urgently, while the Spearman and Autolycus stayed vigilant of their surroundings. “Haha, this hide could sell for a large number of silver coins; shoot, forget silver, even gold wouldn’t be a problem!” The pointy nose man was clearly greedy, as he was wild with joy.
“You asshole! Can’t you see I was hurt by that bear? Is money the only thing you care about?” The burgundy dressed growled in anger, but in a low voice.
The Pointy nosed man looked over at her with a smile. “Don’t get so worked up about such little things, it isn’t like it can’t be fixed, jeez, what a whiner.” Without giving her time to talk, he looked toward the roundshield man.
“Aye, Vander, can you store these bears with the other items we brought with us?” The Pointy nose man wasn’t sure if such large beasts could fit inside the storage, so he asked. He would suffer heartache if he had to leave such treasure-like beast behind.
“You….” The burgundy wearing woman pointed at the pointy-nosed man; she was so angry that she didn’t know what to say.
“Calm down, Callista, you’ll make your wounds much worse getting angry, just let it be. You’ll get most of the cut since you dealt the fatal blow to it and suffered for it.” The Blue-robed woman concluded; she was like a completely different person before entering this dungeon, it was like her arrogance was completely diminished.
Callista took a deep breath, she should be used to this guy’s greed at this point. His greed wasn’t to the extent of killing someone for their wealth, but it was enough to disregard people to obtain what he wanted.
“Yeah, we can put the bodies inside the storage and sell them once we’re back in Goa.” Vander nodded and proceeded to store the Moon Bear he and Hera had killed.
The Pointy nose man rubbed his hands together staring at the Moon Bear in front of him. Glints of greed passed through his eyes every so often.
“Scoundrel” Callista said in a low voice.
Time passed, they had taken a snack break. At this point, they had already stored the Moon Bear’s bodies away.
“Alright! Let’s head back, its time for us to leave.” The Blue-Robed announced to the group.
“Haha, Tybore is probably still waiting at the exit of the cave. Honestly, he doesn’t deserve anything we have earned here.” The Spearman laughed thinking of that shameless fella.
“Sigh, we can’t keep him waiting, let’s go and leave here quickly before some other monster appears.”
Just when everyone was leaving.
“What? Leaving already, you guys just got here. Why not stay, no, you can stay here forever.”
Everyone nearly tripped from shock, due to hearing this voice so suddenly. They immediately drew their weapons. The voice sounded nice at first, but it turned slightly sinister at the end.
Suddenly, the space someways in front of them twisted and shook. Then, Vitiate emerged from the void with a smile on his face, his eyes glowing red.
“A demon!” Everyone’s face abruptly changed, this was a complete threat to all of humanity.
“Demon? I’m feeling offended. Don’t you know, the last person to call me that isn’t here anymore?” It only made sense that people would assume he was a demon, but it got to him after a while.
Everyone was puzzled by hearing his words. “If you aren’t a demon, then what the f.u.c.k are you?”
Vitiate looked towards the Spearman, he and the pointy-nosed man had foul mouths’. He already discovered this a while ago, so he was already expecting this.
“Okay, I’ll get straight to the point. Put down your weapon and surrender and submit. I guarantee that you won’t get hurt and your lives’ will be far better than what they were before.” Vitiate said with a smile.
Submit?
Surrender?
The Pointy nosed man and Spearman suddenly laughed, this was the biggest joke of the year.
“Haha, little demon, let me tell you my answer, and the answer is for you is to f.u.c.k off, we don’t surrender to retards!” The Spearman sneered looking at Vitiate; his eyes were filled with contempt like he was looking at a dead man.
“Hehe! For once I agree with you Arturo, this goofball can scram the hell off! Or… he can die!” The pointy nose man smirked.
Judging from everyone’s expressions in their party, they also agreed that Vitiate should….f.u.c.k off!
Vitiate’s face turned gloomy, he was expecting this, but the way they said it almost made him explode in anger for a second. But he remembered that he was beyond getting upset anymore as he used to when playing video games in the past.
“Good! Glad to see people still have some backbone in this world, but sometimes you have to know when you’ve lost.” Vitiate said with a smile.
“A clown-like you want us to surrender? Last chance, get lost or suffer!” The pointy nose man exclaimed as he pointed one of his curved swords at Vitiate.
“Clown? Well, since you guys want to play hardball, then don’t blame me. I’ll show you a real clown and what it’s capable of.” Vitiate snapped his finger and suddenly, three-figure appeared out of nowhere.
They all wore black and red, with black noses. Their faces were, as usual, they were wearing grief-stricken expressions!
“W-what t-the….” They were actual clowns! They had seen clowns before, so they would know. Elves didn’t know what type of beings these were, they didn’t know of clowns, but humans knew them very well.
Autolycus’ face turned grave under his mask, he felt these creature’s threat levels were quite high, not to mention their intimidating appearances. There were Ki signatures that indicated this, while the mana pool of an individual meant nothing. A large Mana pool only meant you could use more abilities for a prolonged time period.
Also, if you absorb mana, it could raise your overall strength, so this was another important factor for mana filled areas. Mana was converted in Ki to use Elemental skills and Battle Ki; mana stood in the center of it all.
Without hesitation, sensing the imposing threat, the Blue-robed woman released her signature skill. Water spewed from her body, spreading throughout the area, this was actually a really rare skill, it was a domain skill.
It was called [Water Domain].
Though the skill was really low in level; if leveled up, it could become really powerful later. Using this skill burned mana overtime constantly, so it had a weakness.
However, just when they were about to attack, the ground shook. Everyone frowned again, was another monster coming this way?
At that moment, two giant figures emerged from the forest. One had fiery red hair, while the other had pure white hair. Their red eyes gazed at Vitiate, then they looked at the weird clowns with a strange expression before looking at what they knew were intruders, the armed humans.
