Dungeon System: World Of Chaos War - Chapter 88 The Blue Apostle
AN: Please read endnote: I haven’t been uploading so much because I was so focused on that; it’s really amazing.
The room was dead silent for the longest time, no one said anything. Vitiate said a few words to them but all he said seemed to fall on deaf ears. Seeing this, he simply said that he would give 24 hours to think about their decision.
Afterward, he instructed the Kobolds to handle giving them food and water. The prison cells already had toilets, sinks, and beds for them to use, so there weren’t any inhumane conditions.
“These types of things can’t be rushed.” Vitiate shook his head; he wouldn’t force anyone into his race. He viewed his created race as, well, his creation obviously, so he would pick people carefully.
As for the idiots he picked, their status within his race would be much lower.
Looking at the time, he saw that too much time had gone by. Tomorrow was the day he went to challenge some woman to get his promotion.
Moments later, Vitiate appeared at the exit of his Dungeon. There was a thunderstorm brewing, as rain poured down hard.
“Ah, I love it when it rains, so relaxing to look at.” He could see that it was raining so hard that it looked blurry outside. See this, an idea suddenly came to him as his eyes brightened. For one, Vitiate knew that rain would hamper any adventurer from adventuring due to the rainy conditions.
“Seriously, though. I can’t deal with any more invaders for now, so it’s only one thing to do to stop them for now.” He was aware that his Dungeon wasn’t easy to find, but if he could control the weather, this would stop some if not most adventurers from setting out.
This would also cover any big battles taking place in the Dread Forest, providing some sort of camouflage from outsiders. Vitiate immediately made his way back towards the 22nd floor where the Apostle Altar was located.
“I planned to wait a while because I had no ideas, but because of the weather changes, and the approaching battle coming; I’ve been enlightened.”
That’s right, Vitiate planned to create another Apostle, but he was going to station this creature out of the Dungeon for a while.
“This Monster will be called a Blue Apostle, hahaha!” It always felt good to create a monster from your imagination, so he could only laugh in joy thinking of this.
[Rule of Creation!]
1. To create a Being, you can either draw it out or use your imagination to create it.
2. The following being will not have a Growth Rate or evolution besides its skills. Stats will never grow over time!
3. The Created Being will have a Stat Cap of 8,000, this will expand depending on certain requirements being met.
4. To make the created being apart of your race, you must use your blood during the process of creation.
5. You can teach the created being a total of 13 Skills in total.
Vitiate looked at the rules again, but he noticed a slight change in the rules.
“The last time I could only give them a total of 7,000 base stats, now it’s 8,000? How?” Vitiate could only theorize that it was because of his increase in strength, but he felt doubtful that this was the cause.
“Nevertheless, the is a good improvement from last time.” Vitiate nodded silently and continued the ritual of creation. In the same ritual standards, he cut his finger and dripped blood over the card which quickly absorbed his blood.
Afterward, a light shot into the altar and connected to his mind for visualization. The time to visualize a monster took less time than usual; only taking 20 minutes this time around. A burst of blue light shot out in all directions on the Dungeon floor.
The Dragon was watching in absolute shock. She had been sleeping up until the time he appeared at the cave entrance earlier. She remained silent, she wanted to talk but when she heard Vitaite mention a Blue Apostle, she remained silent to see what would happen.
Soon, he began to edit its stats. The monster hadn’t appeared yet, but once its stats were placed, it would make its appearance.
The monster stood at 7 meters in height. Its arms were muscular, along with a slightly muscular chest. Its skin was blue with black spots on its back, it had 2 sharp hooks coming out of each of its knuckles, similar to wolverine.
The creature’s eyes were small with the sclera of its eyes being yellow and its eye pupils being in the shape of black negative sign.
[Ding! Congratulations, you’ve created a monster for your Hierarchy!]
He quickly reviewed its status.

This Apostle was by far the strongest in terms of stats. But this was understandable since he was given an extra 1,000 base points. The creature looked around once it appeared; as soon as it noticed Vitiate, it kneeled down and stuck out its hand.
This was an indication that it wanted him to climb on. He humored it and climb onto its palm. The Apostle put Vitiate on its shoulder, then remained silent and unmoving afterward. He didn’t know if should laugh seeing this performance, it was definitely much more outgoing than the rest.
He commanded it to scout the area while he was on its shoulder. It did just that and began to surveillance its surroundings; it could hear chuckling from afar. Sadly, its hearing wasn’t nearly as good as some of the other Apostles but this didn’t mean it failed in this department.
“Ignore them, they aren’t our enemies. Just look around for a bit, there is no need to attack anyone around here.” Vitiate explained thoroughly; he talked to this monster like it was a person since it could easily understand.
Of course, it understood and walked around without paying any heed to anyone. The DragonRex was alerted earlier when it felt a new creature appear on this floor. However, it still laid where it was with its eyes closed, not paying any attention to the newcomer or any newcomers at that. He just didn’t have any interest in these things, and he just stayed asleep.
All the while, the little dragon couldn’t believe what she had witnessed. In fact, she didn’t know what she really witnessed. But she could speculate that this monster was either summoned from another dimension or created on the spot.
But she wasn’t dumb. According to Vitiate’s words earlier, he said ‘this would be called a Blue Apostle,’ so she believed that it was a newly created creature!
“Impossible!” The Dragon said to herself.
The Dragon couldn’t believe it; there was no way he made this monster on the spot, right!? The Little Dragon’s heart shivered, she was in total disbelief, but decided that this wasn’t so or possible, so her heart eased a lot thinking this.
After walking around for a little while, he stored the Apostle and registered it to the Altar, or in the case; for copy and paste purposes like the other Apostles before it.
The Monster was naturally stored inside a Storage Cube, then he warped to the second floor after it was registered.
“This Apostle’s Innate Ability is really top-notch, it will be used a lot in the future for many things. I need to station this fella somewhere, so it can use its Innate skill often for certain occasions” Of course, this Apostle’s Innate skill wasn’t global; so it could only make it rain within a certain radius of itself.
This Monster was stronger in the rain and definitely in the water. Its passive skill [Aqua Boost] and [Water Absorption] did a wide range of things for it. Vitiate left his Dungeon and rushed through the rain.
The skies would rumble every so often. At this time, there were barely any monsters roaming around at this point. Vitiate didn’t leave the Woodland Zone, he wanted the Apostle to be as close as possible to his Dungeon.
Vitiate jumped from tree to tree through Dread Forest. He discovered a few monsters still up and about; roaming the forest. There was Blue slime hopping through the forest, along with strange-looking worm monsters playing in the mud.
He only looked for a little before continuing onward. Suddenly, he heard a strange cry in the sky; Vitiate looked up to see a bird glowing with purple light. The Creature had electricity fluctuating all over its body; he couldn’t get a better look at its features before it ascended into the clouds of lightning.
“What in the world was that?” Vitiate continued to stare at the cloudy area the bird disappeared into but it never showed itself again. Shaking his head, he advanced through the forest again.
Rumble~
He heard another rumble, but this wasn’t lightning; it sounded more like a fight! Vitiate couldn’t use his [NightShade] skill unless it was night or the moon was out. Vitiate didn’t want to attract any unwanted monster’s attention, but his curiosity was eating at him.
“Nah, I can’t be too nosy or I’ll end up in trouble.” Vitiate suppressed his curiosity and ignored the location where the fight was taking place. Soon, he came to a very small lake in Dread Forest; this was a decent place to put his Apostle to stand as a sentinel.
Just when he was about to release the Blue Apostle; lightning flashed again. This caused Vitiate to look up again, but as he was looking up, he caught a white figure in the distance within the forest.
“What the….” Vitiate squinted his eyes to get a better look; the rain was hampering his ability to see well. He noticed what the figure was, it was strangely a rabbit, but bigger than the usual rabbit. This rabbit was about the size of a dog!
“How can rabbits get that big?” Vitiate seemed to have thought of something when he said this; he was now in a fantasy world, so anything was just about possible. The rabbit looked to be running through the forest, it was surprisingly very fast, but its movements didn’t escape Vitiate’s eye.
Suddenly, a large shadow was cast behind the rabbit. Multiple large figures were chasing this rabbit! Seeing the figures chasing the rabbit; Vitiate’s expression froze.
These creatures carried sinister expressions; they had long Pinocchio noses. Their eye socket didn’t have any eyes in them, they looked like empty black holes! Their height stood around 4 meters tall with arms so long that they could drag them on the ground.
They were basically tree monsters, but they could walk around! The place where leaves should be were nothing but branches, their mouths remained open at all times. The wood on their bodies was black instead of the regular brown.
Vitiate had already inspected them and found that they were called [Evil Treants]. The Rabbit looked over, it seemed to have noticed him. He didn’t know why, but the eyes of the rabbit seem to show relief seeing him. But what was even weirder was, it looked like there was even a smile that appeared on the rabbit’s face!
Suddenly, the rabbit turned from its initial course and rushed toward Vitiate’s direction! Vitiate’s expression twisted into shock! “You damned rabbit, don’t you dare come over here! Trying to implicate me!” Vitiate said this and turned to run away.
