Dungeon System: World Of Chaos War - Chapter 92
Vitiate stayed and talked with Louis a bit more before leaving. He spoke of other slaves making an appearance other than just Centaurs. Vitiate pictured a half-human and half horse individual, and it gave him chills for some reason.
Vitiate left the shop and was currently on his way back to his mall. At that moment, something flashed his way but he caught a glimpse of it, just barely. Vitiate quickly dodged the attack by jumping backwards.
Right as he jumped back, a barrage of these attacks came raining down on him.
“Who?” Vitiate summoned thunderbolts to block the onslaught of attacks. The attacks were successfully blocked, then Vitaite took a look at the attacker’s choice of weaponry. They were needles of some sort, no, they were needles!
Vitiate searched quickly through the downpour, he focused intently until he heard some movement. Without uttering a word, he quickly charged over towards the suspected attacker. This person was hiding in the shadows and noticed that Vitiate was coming over, and made a run for it!
“Oh, no you don’t!” Vitiate grabbed at the mysterious figure’s cloak.
The individual must have felt Vitiate upon him and quickly pulled out a sharp dagger, and stabbed it at Vitiate’s hand. Vitiate quickly brought back his hand to avoid getting slashed; the mysterious individual performed a spin slash before making a run for it again.
Vitiate wasn’t worried, this person chose the wrong time to attack him; this was because it was raining out! He stomped the ground lightly, the several bolts of lightning jolted towards the assassin.
The person in question seemed to have expected this and took out some strange tool that appeared to be a relic. He stuck it out towards the electricity and canceled it altogether. Vitiate could hear the mocking low scoff this person gave off, but Vitiate wasn’t done yet!
The water in the surroundings suddenly became active and formed 2 giant tentacles! This wasn’t a skill, he was using Mana Control with the use of the Water Element. It was easier to use under the rainy conditions, which gave him a complete advantage.
The mysterious person was shocked, he could also use the Water Element!? Vitiate only chuckled to himself, he knew this person’s surprise.
“I don’t want to explain the things these tentacles could do, but someone like you could probably never understand.” Without further ado, they came slamming down towards the mysterious figure; with the intent to hurt him.

Vitiate decided that since he had a shield, it should be able to protect his life. The mysterious person turned to Vitiate and saw that he was just standing there—smiling without a word.
‘Damn Bastard!’ He mumbled under his breath, he couldn’t sit here any longer or he would surely be crushed by these tentacles. The tentacles rose again, readying themselves for another attack.
Right then, the mysterious person lifted the barrier and tossed a Smoke Bomb. The tentacles were already crushing down towards him when they came to a sudden halt. Vitiate had sensed that the person was on the run, so he controlled one of the tentacles to whip that way.
The tentacle was swift, it whipped backwards almost instantly!
“Ahhh~!!” Vitiate could see it; the mysterious person was whipped across the back, but kept running with blood squirting out of her back! Yes, the voice sounded like a feminine scream, he concluded that this was a woman hiding underneath that disguise.
Vitiate only shook his head, he didn’t bother to chase this person. Her screams had brought several Knights on the run; the battle, in general, had done this. Vitiate didn’t linger and cleared out of the area before they could arrive.
In no time, Vitiate appeared back at his Mall and entered. There were customers sitting around on benches and conversing. Walking further into the Mall, he could see some people standing by the Water Fountain staring at and into it.
“Oh, boss, you’re back.” Vitiate turned to see that the person talking to him was Levi.
“Yeah, I went to check out a few things at the dock, you should know the deal at this point.” It was no secret to what was going on near the docks, even the lowliest one knew of it.
“Did they manage to figure anything out about those guys?” Vitiate asked soon after.
“Nope, not yet but they should really soon.” Levi and Seraphina didn’t head over to check these things out; they weren’t interested in torturing people.
Adara, Lumis, and a few other slaves actually lavished beating and torturing people; much to Vitiate surprise. Of course, these people were individuals who had bad intentions, so it wasn’t like they were crazy, he hoped.
“Okay, let’s head to the casino, I need to add a few things to the place.” Tomorrow was his battle against that D-Rank Adventurer, so he figured he’d fix a few things up.
“Okay, Seraphina made a few changes to the place—she’s really fond of the place and spends most of her time there.” Seraphina actually loved everything about the casino, it was a very addicting place; particularly the games.
‘It’s perfect for ruining nobles’ lives too!’ Vitiate thought to himself, it could cause a few nobles to go bankrupted if they weren’t careful playing there.
….
Mall Back Area.
Under the downpour, two men hung upside down from 2 separate trees. They both had their hands tied behind their backs with gags over their mouths. No one could hear their cries under the rain, and even if it wasn’t raining, no one would still hear them.
They hung in the air from their feet, which was tied with rope. Underneath them was a large bucket of water.
“Blarrgg!” One of the men vomited a mouth full mush, this was actually the worms he was forced to eat earlier! It didn’t come out, at least not all of it—as he was forced to swallow it because of the gag over his mouth!
Adara looked at the man in disgust before asking another slave to remove the gag.
“…” The hairy man didn’t say anything, both he and the mole man remained silent.
“Hoho, so you want to stay quiet? I actually like it that way; I want to try a few new things on you guys.” Adara seemed grateful that they didn’t speak up, she looked at the 2 in delight.
“Wait! We’ll tell you!” The mole man cracked under the pressure, he didn’t want to eat any more worms. Just the thought alone caused him to vomit again!
“Yuck, I thought you guys liked our special menu, what’s the complaint now?” Lumis grinned and looked at the 2 coldly.
Boom!
Suddenly, the sky rumbled with thunder before it started raining even harder.
“Will there be a flood at this rate?” One of the slaves couldn’t help but say, he was currently holding an umbrella to guard against the rain.
“I hope so…” The Merman Lumis actually like the idea of a flood occurring.
Everyone was speechless and didn’t comment on it.
“Anyway, you were going to tell us the person that sent you, right? Speak now, or else!” Adara narrowed her eyes with a smile.
“W-well, I don’t know how the person looked exactly, but I know that it’s a woman.” The mole man said fearfully.
“A woman? How do you know it’s a woman?” Adara glared at him, believing him to be lying.
“S-she had nice curves, a woman’s voice, and…” The man paused and looked at Adara’s c.h.e.s.t before continuing “She actually had a notable c.h.e.s.t that no one couldn’t mi….”
The man couldn’t finish when half his body was dumped in the large bucket filled with Ice-cold water!
“Gugglelulul~!” Water bubbles were the only thing that could be seen after he was dumped inside of it.
The hairy man’s expression turned green, was she going to allow him the drown!? Adara coldly looked at the water unfazed by the man’s struggle before lifting him out. The other slaves even had expressions of concern, except for Lumis.
“Ahh~! Oh, my god!” The mole man was shivering and looked at Adara like she was crazy.
“So, what were saying about this woman’s c.h.e.s.t?” Adara smiled, but at the same time, it wasn’t a smile.
“Nothing…it was just a woman in a cloak, we couldn’t see her face, please let us go!” The mole man had a bad feeling; if he offended this woman anymore he would suffer great losses.
“Haha, stop crying, you get enough oxygen. It isn’t so bad to get a little water once in a while.” Lumis laughed and dumped the other man into a bucket of water as well.
“Ahhlulululu~!” Once again, more water bubbles appeared on the surface.
AN: Lol! Every time I write that, I laugh, I can just imagine this scene! xD
“You guys are insane!”
“So it was a woman in a cloak that sent you to cause trouble here, what color was the cloak?” Adara asked again to confirm.
“She wore black, and yes, she had a cloak for the millionth tim….” He couldn’t finish when he was dumped again.
…
Casino.
Vitiate was setting up the machines and the system odds, he wasn’t going to make it easy to win. He could just imagine the addiction those rich nobles would have, he could even win some land if they were to bet using them.
To him, this was the best; he could just give this land to his future Apostles. They would be able to relay information to other Apostles from different parts of the world! These people weren’t that different compare to his last world when it came to betting. If the money is there, they don’t care; they’ll put up anything to win big.
Dreydan and Seraphina were playing a game of cards when she was defeated by Dreydan.
“Oh, put me in!” Levi came over the join.
“Oh…I get to school both brother and sister at the same time; this will be fun.” Dreydan grinned and started to deal the cards.
“Don’t think you can win forever, we’ll see about that!” Seraphina harrumphed.
Vitiate was currently working on every machine, he also had to enforce the mana absorption in this room. This would prevent people from using their powers to their advantage in any scenario here; perhaps a Telekinetic could manipulate the money in the machines to his or her favor.
‘No one gets to cheat me!’ Vitiate thought to himself as he fixed up the machines.
