“Urgggh!”

I felt my entire body shiver, my entire being was suddenly asking me to flee. But, why? Me? Armekreutz Agares? Flee? I looked at a human drop down from the window up on the tower but when he landed, I couldn’t even lift a finger, my head started aching in pain as I had to kneel at his presence. It’s like, the biblical God? But he’s dead?!

Suddenly, a childish voice resounded from that same spot, the puny mages also looked behind them but in their eyes were awe and hope, stupid dependent weaklings.

“A lowly dog dares talk about my mother in flesh? Your mere presence in front of me is already revolting, but to dare even think of touching my mother and make me look at you from the same height? You think too highly of yourself, mutt”

I gritted my teeth in anger and tried to look at the one who said those words, but all I could see was a being who shined brighter than any angels I saw. He was terrifying, what sort of being decided to land in this place? Why me?

“Hoh? Are you sure you just want to grit your teeth and not growl or bark?”

That, child sounding thing came closer to me, but each and every step made my head feel like it went through a dragon’s stomach over and over again. When he was only a few feet away from me, the pain was equal to death at least a thousand times, I couldn’t even shout as my entire being wanted to just die.

“Disgusting. A Devil of…what family was it? Agareshit? A bunch of pitiful fools to have a dog like you as their own.”

Each word was like a holy sword striking at me at the very being, each scoff and silent grunts he makes while watching me suffer made me rage, it was now a rage I couldn’t stop, If I ever live from this, I swear that I would flip the heaven in order to kill this being!

“You look like you’re enjoying that method of cursing me? How about this, I’ll let you move and if you as much as even land a hit on me, I’ll spare you?”

All of the sudden, the pain receded and the bright being slowly showed colors, it was a…a…

“JUST A KID?!”

I stood up immediately and ran away from him, not too much but just enough distance for me to attack and retreat if needed.

“Running with tails under your worthless ‘manhood’? Pathetic worm…”

“Y-Your royal highness! Be careful! The Agares are skilled in time manipulation! We need an equally faster being or a someon-”

“Be silent, mortal. I know none of, Agares. But Agareshit, I’m well aware of.”

The c.o.c.ky little shit started chuckling and looked at me while signalling with his chin to attack him, would I allow this little shit to live? NO! I WILL DESTROY HIM!

“GAHAHA! I WILL DO AS I SAID BEFORE! YOUR BIGGEST MISTAKE WAS LOSING YOUR ADVANTAGE OF LIGHT!”

I used our time manipulation to it’s peak and watched as everything slowed down, the air, the expressions of the puny mages, his eyes that were on the action of blinking. I walked leisurely to this dead kid now, and when I arrived in front of him I swiped my arm towards his neck.

But he dodged.

Just like that, my time manipulation timed out and I tried to run once more but he just took a nearby stone, it glowed with black and the scarf on his neck also covered it.

(Black Authority!)

A weird voice, the ones similar to those dragon gears but at the same time more powerful like it’s not even meant to be in that scarf.

“You’re a dog through and through…”

That was the last words I heard before the stone he threw barely touched me in the heel.

“Suffer in the void, mongrel”

I saw black…black and then pain…but the most terrifying thing in here was a dragon…it was angry…

“Please don’t make me do that again, this acting memory I have makes me feel fake…”

I looked towards the mages who were left and smiled wryly at them, I slowly helped them recover and sat them safely. The old man who was judging me gave me a look of amazement, no, there’s no hearts. Elaine had one though, apparently she was back at the top and watched it from above, the mages were all asking for my forgiveness but-

“Uh…Stop, please. I…that was just me acting. You don’t need to kneel! I promise, I’m just a little bit less human hehe~”

“Oh! No! No! You are the true son of the Goddess of Night! We bow to you, the successor!”

Just as I was trying to pacify the mages and their turning fanaticism on me, I heard a voice from far away.

“sooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOON!”

An orange sparked appeared beside me, he was wearing a ‘tacky’ armor and he grabbed me by the shoulder while looking around.

“Did the Mages actually do something to you? Oh MY GOD! WHAT IS THAT?! A MASSACRE? You did that? Nice!”

“No, dad, it was a Devil. Someone named-”

“No matter, you probably killed him. A dead Devil is even more useless that their already useless race, no matter what happens remember those words when facing against them”

(That makes as much sense as ‘People die when they are killed’ Haha! My friend, your father is an interesting demigod!)

We chatted for a little bit more, before we left the severely shocked Mages Association. I swear they were about to pray to me if I stayed there for a few more minutes!

“So mom, can I ask you something?”

In front of me was my mom and my sister who never left my mom’s side ever since I saw her.

“Hm?~ Oh~ If your asking about why she looks like me, then isn’t obvious that she’s my daughter?”

“No, I wanted to ask why she’s…like, grown up like me or a few years younger”

Her face made a ‘o’ before looking at my sister, she patted her head and smiled before allowing her to lay on her lap.

“She’s been designated as the next Goddess of Night, so her growth is a little more accelerated than you. You could say she’s been purified and given a very powerful divinity by our father so she’s a pure goddess technically~”

‘Hey, am I th-‘

(No, my friend, you are still 1% human. Because if you weren’t I wouldn’t be able to be your sacred gear.)

‘Okay’

“She grows up fast huh?”

My mom smiled at me, and slowly went to my side and sat beside me.

“Aw~ Is my baby boy jealous?~ Don’t worry, personally I like you a little bit more than my daughter~”

I cringed, my mom smelt like dad’s sweat. They did something again. She slowly went closer to me and broke the sense of space I always have against her, yes, only her. My mom is slightly perverted and sometimes gives me looks like that elf lady hunter I meet sometimes.

“My~ My~ You’ve gotten bigger~ I remember when you were all like ‘mommy! mommy! I can lift this boulder now!’ before~”

I gulped. Ooh boi. It’s coming!

“My dear baby boy~ Do you want my milk agai-”

“Nope, sorry, bye. I’m going to have a training session with dad, mom go away, your in heat again.”

She made a sad face and gave me a puppy eye asking me to stay, my sister did the same and…this is how I lost last time. BUT!

“Sorry mom, I have better things to do.”

She pouted at me and only sat with her arms crossed, my sister imitated and I think I’m gonna have a problem about this in the future. Thank fully though, my savior arrived.

“Your royal highness! Can you help me!~”

A girl, she had a very obvious light blue hair and her eyes were blue, this was Elaine Reni. I just really didn’t bother with observing her the first time because she was creepy but now-

“Can you please help me! This dress isn’t done right and I can’t remove it!”

She was running at me with a mage’s dress, it looked really pretty at her but only if you ignore the fact that her n.i.p.p.l.es were visible with only a few centimeter of movement from the dress.

Over the year that she has been my personal magician, she became rather powerful. She also decided to live at the castle and became similar to a cousin that annoys you for me, I’ve never seen my cousin but my memories somehow have…a knowledge about certain books like those.

“Why are you running around with a very vulnerable clothing? If a mad man appeared suddenly then your chastity might be lost, do you know about that?”

She gave me a smile, she has learned to smile over the short time she has been with me, I learned not to though. We kinda switched.

“Ehehe~ as long as your royal highness is in the castle…slurp, I don’t mind you being the madman though…ehehehe”

I took her by the collar of her dress and brought her to her room as I fixed it for the girl. She was going to became an official mage after the previous events in the mage association, she helped them a bit here and there so they allowed her to be an official line of mages. She told her mom and they were moved to the noble district, well her mom was. She stayed in the castle.

“Say, your royal highness…now that I’m a mag-”

“No.”

“But I hav-”

“I don’t want to”

“Oh do-”

“Nigh impossible”

“You’ll refuse me being your future concubine?”

“Not a chance”

She started squealing right there and there and was glowing so red that she had to kick me out of her room, on OUR castle. I walked away after that and greeted some knights here and there, my goal was to find my dad but he was doing something important.

I went out of the castle and went to the same old commoner district, it was a place full of normal looking people and the place where budding talents were mostly found. I wore my usual clothes since they was nearly the same as the commoners anyway and walked around. I saw kids playing with smiles in their faces and the parents who chatted with neighbors while watching over the kids, some were bringing snacks and sharing them while the kids would stop temporarily to eat and the play again and so on.

“This place is so peaceful…”

I jumped up on a house and watched the sky at its roof while laying down, the sun setting was a big blow to my awareness and I just slowly got sleepy. But not only after a few minutes, I dreamed about it again.

I was in the body of an old man, he was smiling while in front of him was a screen. It showed many different views and the one thing they had was blood, it was bloody and lots of death made me…happy? It continued and continued until the old man stood up and looked at a button just a few feet away from him.

“Beautiful”

Those words, despite being a dream, echoed through my mind and I woke up. Beside me was a girl, it was my sister who was lazily named Nyxia.

Scratch that.

‘What’s she doing here?’

Compared to the others in the house, I’ve never even known her for a day yet but weirdly, I felt a connection. It was like, inside me, we were fundamentally the same…being.

(That would be technically true! I’m called Black Authority for a reason~)

‘Why?’

(She’s the next Goddess of Night, I’m the God’s Left Arm of Black Authority)

The little girl, who’s about the same age as me by looks slowly curled up even closer to my chest, I felt the miraculous energy called ‘Bro Air’ and hugged her as well.

“Nnng…”

“I might be a closet sis-con…or whatever that is”

(Hey, friend, aren’t you going to ask what I mean?)

I shrugged and continued staring into the now night sky.

(Haha! Fine then, I’ll just let you ask something again!)

‘Why does my mom smell of dad’s sweat sometimes?’

Oh, cool. Anyways, after that, I brought my sister home and my parents were panicking as shit until they saw me holding her in a piggy back. They all aww’d me and the day ended, not after my dad gave me a good news though.

“You know…you’re strong enough to challenge the Throne of Lions now…”

“What’s that?”

He looked at me with a dignified face and pointed towards a door that suddenly appeared just as he said the name.

“The equivalent of an a.d.u.l.t ceremony to the others.”

“But why?”

“Because…I want you to try my new added…stuff~”

I sighed, this is like the 100th time already and my sigh meter is running low, I’m gonna hate tomorrow for sure…

‘Man, I just want to smile’

I paused for a bit and smile I did 🙂
