In front of me was a group of people, again. Behind me however was a big door, engraved with golden lion and, well, it majestically white?
“So, please explain to me why am I going in there again?”
I gave my father a smile, a smile that was meant to be the ‘scary’ type but ended up looking like I was genuinely excited about the whole thing. He also smiled, we both smiled but before I was about to say something he gave me a thumbs up.
“Someone in there will explain to you! See ya’ in the next 9 years”
“Huh?-!AYAA?”
He kicked me, the damnable father of mine kicked me into the door, no preparations, no gear, no warning or advice, not even a single drop of water. The door opened and a bright light surrounded me while I looked at my relatives and associates who just waved at me.

“Umu. SCREW YOU ALL!”
And then I passed out.

“Did you tell him that only his own abilities will work there and his thing might not work?”
Lake looked at the woman who reminded him and gave a slight worried look but soon smiled.
“He’ll work it out somehow, I also did the same back then!”
They all started scattering and going to their own places and stuffs, while Lake kept up a smile until everyone left, staring at the door with a smile that slowly changed into a cringe.
“He’s a demigod anyways~ Hahaha~ Hah~…I wish you luck!”

Soon, my vision returned, I looked around me and the first thing in my mind was to puke. Countless bodies laid, left and right, corpses with swords, arrows, spears, even dead beasts were scattered everywhere. I looked at my hands and saw myself in a black armor, it was darker than the night sky and the color of blood made it contrast, below me was bodies, piled up to form a mountain. I knelt due to the extremely realistic amount of blood and the stench made me puke out even air, when it was over, I saw beside me was a spear. In it was the skewered head of a 3 different people, a blonde man with the face of happiness, a man with face of despair etched into it, and-
“Dad!?”
I hurriedly grabbed the spear and took his head, it created glurgy and splooshy noised and the urge to puke came to me again but I made it stop by looking straight at the sky.
“What is this?”
I took the time to look around, the head of my dad was still in hand but I felt…normal. The disgusted feeling stopped and when I took a look at my body, I realized something, I did all the-

“AHHH!?”
I woke up, it was a nightmare, thankfully. I looked around me and all I saw was plain grasslands, I stood up and…admired the relaxing atmosphere. After a few bits of observing, I could see forests to the east, volcanoes and mountains to the north and bodies of water to the south, to my west was a desert. I stayed in place and took my time to calm myself, the dream still had a big effect on me but not even a minute while relaxing, a huge silhouette towered over me, it looked like a lion and it was massive, I was about to move but-
“Gyaaaaaao!”
A cute roar(?) came instead, I looked back instantaneously and saw a little girl, she was blonde and had red eyes. She wore a tiger costume and as if to just make it feel better, she had a sole canine sticking out from her mouth.
“Your awake, gyao! Welcome to the throne of lions, gyao!”
“Are you roaring or are you trying to make me lower my defenses with the cutesy act?”
I stood up and picked up a grass, it got coated with a black aura and I tried using my sacred gear but, it was not happening?
“O-oi? Black Authority? Voice?”
The lion girl just looked at the grass in my hands with sparkling eyes but soon controlled herself and coughed.
“I’m your guide, gyao! Lake-sama added me to guide the future test sub- I mean kings to the throne of lion, gyao!”
‘She was about to say test subjects? Really, dad?’
“So, now, gyao! What do you want to know first, gyao!?”
I sat back on the ground, grass leaf still in hand but since I knew what this place was and let’s say I will believe her for now, I gave my question a thought and asked.
“What are those different places?”
I pointed towards the south, north, east, and west. She followed my fingers and nodded occasionally, it was cute.
“Those are the different dens, gyao! They all have different types of monsters and tests, gyao!”
“Oh? What type of monsters would I face then?”
“Lions, gyao!”
“Lions…?”
“Yep, the throne of lion is full of only different types of lions, gyao!”
Wha? I looked at her with narrowed eyes and slowly made differing questioning expressions while shaking my head.
“Is that all you wish to ask, gyao?”
“No, one more thing.”
“Whave ish it, gyao!?”
“Why are you rubbing yourself at me?”
She stopped for a second and looked at me like I was a monster, but she stopped and continued to rub herself at me for a bit, I stood up and she clung to me and so-
“GET AWAY FROM ME YOU CREEPY GIRL!”
I ran but she clung, I jumped but she clung, I bit her but she m.o.a.ned? No, wait stop no! NOPE!
I gave up.
“So, any suggestions on where the hell should I start?”
“Start at the forest, gyao!”
I sighed and did as she said, I walked towards my east and after roughly, half an hour, we reached a gate saying ‘Heart~ Welcome to the Forest of Lions Heart~’
“Ok.”
“Gyao!”
I walked away, no way am I going into that place, nuh uh. No, just no, dad, you are crazy.
“Please go in to that place first, gyao! They have the weakest lions out of the entire place, gyao!”
“Aren’t you the weakest? Heh”
She looked at me like I was dumb before finally letting go of me. She then stretched before ‘gyao’-ing loud. And well, she turned into a 100 meter lion.
“Hi.”
“I’m the guardian for this place, I ain’t no weakest, boy”
I nodded my head pretty fast and she/he? Ended up shrinking back to a little girl, imagine me trying to defeat her before with a grass? Haha. Funny stuff.
“Now please go to that forest, gyao!”
“Understood, g-gyao!”

I entered past that weird gate, and shockingly the entire place changed in atmosphere as if I entered another whole new place. The trees were healthy and green, there were regular animals in there and for some weird reason, the lion girl disappeared after I entered, so now, I’m not lost but currently confused as to where I should and what I should.
“There’s only trees in here though…”
I took a nearby twig and used my [EX Knight of Owner] before attacking a nearby boar. I had no need for fancy hunting crap, why? Because it was just a boar, but then [EX Instinct] said run the f.u.c.k away.
“Oh…crap”
A loud thud followed by an earthquake shook my senses and before I knew it the boar escaped and I fell down on my butt. Now, here’s the big reason why I’m currently shocked.
“Oh? A human? Pity, it’s a child”
A huge ass mother f.u.c.k.i.n.g lion dinosaur was in front of me. It was either a dinosaur in a lion’s body or the lion was in a dinosaur’s body. It was f.u.c.k.i.n.g huge. I’m sorry mom, I used bad words.
And so then it tried to squash me, I ran away, but it tried to walk and squash me, so I rolled, but then it tried to lunge on me with its humongous body, so I decided to use my [EX Instinct] to see if I could live, turns out I could either lose an arm, lose a leg, or just lose half of my body. So I did the blocking one instead.
“Oh? A mere child with such strength to block me?”
Its paws were about the size of a 6 horses together, claws not included, the sheer might of the attack made the ground beneath me crack as I did my best to hold on to the twig. Good job [Knight of Owner] your really the best skill there is!
“AHHHHH!”
The pain in my arms started making themselves known, the ground caved in even more and finally, the lion spoke.
“Ah…such a waste to kill you right now. I will let you live boy, but the next time we meet, you better be strong enough to entertain me! GYAHAHA!”
“GUU-UWAH!”
He raised his paws and from all the sudden lost of pressure, I fell back, I panted and stared at the eyes of the lion, it was red, majestically red and challenging. I closed my eyes and tried to feel the pain in my arms, it was the first time I felt pain, it was exhilarating, even my mom and dad didn’t hurt me as much but this…
“Fine! I’ll beat you up soon!”
The lion laughed at me and told me a few words before going away.
“Gyahahaha! Of course you would need to, after all only with killing us will you gain the key to get out of this place!”
Key? I tried standing up and I was about to fall down because of the pain but suddenly, I felt nothing and just stood up normally, I looked at my body and saw my arms were somehow super bruised while my legs were also in the same state, but I could stand up?
“Oh…[EX Battle Continuation] now that’s a cool one too”
I sat down on my ass and stared at the forests that seemed to endless now. If such a beasts exist in this place, how would the others be?
Heh.
“Huh? Am I smiling?”
After that, I let myself heal naturally for a few hours, due to my nearly godly body bruises don’t last on me nor does some minor wounds. I went away after that and went back to the grassland, the lion girl appeared once more and clung to me while I just sat on the outsides of the gate with a depressed face.
“Say, how do I get strong enough to fight those types of things?”
The lion girl had a sly smirk on her face but still kept snuggling me with her nose.
“Learn to use mana, gyao!”
“Mana? What’s that?”
“Life, gyao!”
I sighed, if this thing kept being so cryptic then I might just live in here forever because I can’t get stro- huh?
“YOU WANT ME TO STAY HERE FOREVER DON’T YOU?!”
She had a shocked face and looked to side like some guilty dog!
“I-I don’t understand what your trying to say, g-gyao!”
I grabbed her by the collar and started shaking her, she let me while having a defeated expression.
“TEACH ME! TEACH ME! TEACH ME!”
It continued for only 10 more seconds before she sighed and went away from me, soon she was surrounded by a bright light and the girl turned into a…hot…lady.
Her b.o.o.b.s were huge.
The lion costume was in both pain and pleasure. It was tight. My pants were and so is the costume, but! I am Victor Malum Noctis! This won’t faze me!
“Ara? Is the little boy now surprised, gyao~?”
Her previously cute ‘gyao’ turned into a coquettish ‘roar’ that could make men drop, not me though. I’m still a child.
“Ara, I praise your outstanding resistance to my charms, gyao~”
I gave her a determined look, it was a gaze full of experience and hardsh.i.p.s.
“My mom was worst”
“Ara~ anyways, do you truly want to learn about mana, gyao?~”
I nodded and stood up.
“Then, first you have to relax and feel the mana, gyao~”
I nodded and sat down.
“You see, mana is, in all sense of the word, life. Life is everywhere and mana is life, therefore mana is everywhere. To control mana you must sense it, and to sense it you must know life. Do those in only a week and I’ll teach you about a cool technique, gyao~”
“Why don’t you just be a hypnotist if you’re that confusing?”
She smacked me.
“What the-”
Smacked me again.
“Ara~ don’t be naughty now, just be the good boy and feel the man, gyao~”
I sighed, again. And tried to do the meditation thing some knights in our castle told me about, I never really bothered to do so because it was entirely pointless to me and my natural strength. But now? I think I’m needing it after all.
I closed my eyes and inhaled, after a few seconds, I exhaled. I did it for a few more minutes before I felt something around the air, and by the time half an hour passed, I opened my eyes and saw the lion girl’s eyes twitching at me while her mouth was wide open.
“W-What sort of talented monster are you, g-gyao~?”
“What do you mean?”
I looked around my body and found myself surrounded by weird bluish particles, it covered me like they were my…mother and I felt warm.
“I told you to feel the mana not learn mana burst!”
“What’s the differen-”
Oh. It takes a huge toll on me huh? Crap.
And so I passed again, for the 2nd time. This is turning into a habit.
