Dying In Real Life Is Another Way To Play - Chapter 19 Planting Seeds
Fu Shen’s plane landed at Beijing Daxing international Airport a few days ago, it only took about 3 hours of flight time. At the airport, he was picked up by a company car, the driver gave him a tablet which indicated what his next tasks are.
It showed that he is being transferred to a secret facility owned by the company. His duties will be to monitor and identify breach of protocol or integrity issues that may occur. Aside from that, he was tasked to plant a few bugs. His direct superior will be Engineer Rong Xing, an old man in his fifties and he will be a tier 3 support technician for the team.
As he arrived at the site he saw that it was just similar to other HIVE NEURAL TECH branch buildings, it was 9 stories high, pure white walls and the architecture looked futuristic. The surroundings have a very minimalistic look which had pine trees and a lots green shrubs to indicate that the company is also environment friendly.
Security was all over the place along with countless CCTV cameras, he took his time counting the guards as part of his acquired habits, while he feigned an impression of a rural villager at his first time in the city. The beautiful looking blacked haired lobby attendant gave her a tablet, a key card and an identification badge. After the registration process for his biometrics. She instructed him to go to the elevator and use the keycard provided.
As he did, he found that it went down instead of up, he also counted while going down as he calculated the speed of the descent by purely getting the feel for it. After a while it stopped and as the doors opened he saw a spacious under ground complex, he believed that the depth shoud be around 9 stories as well. The security was a bit tight he thought, as there were scanners and body searches here as well as a baggage inspection machine.
After they checked his identification and credentials they checked his biometrics again before letting him pass. He was directed to go to IFDVR research department.
As he was heading there, he saw a bunch of scientists and engineers passing by accompanied by security personnel, he overheard the scientist were discussing something about another new type of ore being sent over while the engineers were discussing about enlarging the electrical intake of the transportation bridge capacity.
As he looked into their direction the security saw him and told him to quickly pass by, with a look on their armbands, he noticed that their armbands are brightly colored in comparison to his and had different logos while his was just a blank one.
When he reached the the department he was greeted by a few colleagues and was asked to report to the head engineer. bowing his head to greet everyone and sharing a few words as small talk, he then went inside the head engineer’s office.
The Head Engineers office was quite simple, aside from a small desk and a computer, a small cabinet with books and a black couch and television. Sitting at the desk was an old lean man with white hair.
“Greetings Engineer Rong, My name is Fu Shen.” he bowed as he entered.
“It’s about time you got here. I’ve been waiting for a replacement for a few weeks now.” the Head Engineer replied
“I’m glad to be transferred here out of all the other branches, it seems that this is a good place to hone my skills.” Fu Shen said.
“You’re right, you’ll learn a lot more while in here, plus the benefits and perks in here are quite better, except that you could rarely move about freely.” Head Engineer Rong added. while smiling
Fu Shen nodded smiling and then asked “May I ask what happened to the previous technician? If this place is as good as it can be, I wonder why he left?”
Head Engineer Rong looked serious as he answered “I suggest to keep your curiosity at bay, even at my position, there are certain places and areas that I could notjust freely go to… Long Shen was a great guy, it’s just that he went a little too curious and got into one of them restricted areas..”
“I see, I’ll make sure to stay away from those places to avoid getting fired.” Fu Shen nodded
“We’ll if getting shot by security from head to foot and getting wrapped in a body bag is considered as “getting fired” then I guess you’ll do fine.” Head Engineer Rong said in a sarcastic tone.
Fu Shen “….”
….
Zhang Shan was surprised as she looked at Titiana.
“You can speak demon tounge?”
Titiana answered back “Yes, well not exactly all dialects, but only those that have been discovered and studied. All of us from the “Pantheon” can do so…. Why didn’t you try to study a bit of the basics?”
“Well to be honest, before I started playing I did try to study a bit about the game lore but One year preparation is just a little bit too short. Aside from studying the economy and power distribution of kingdoms in the continent of Olinas, I also had to take some time to learn martial arts and a few sword play techniques in between.”
“I see, well if you want I can help you with that.” she answered
“Great, if you can translate that would be…” before he can continue, Titiana kissed his lips.
As he closed his eyes, he felt a sudden headache and the system rang in his head.

The system notification kept ringing in his head as the headache he felt kept increasing. He wanted to break free from Titianas embrace but felt as if she was sucking his strength and conciousness until his vision turned black.

“Are you telling me that there are different races and caste systems for demons?” Titiana’s sweet voice asked
“Yes, the color of our skin and our bloodline purity would pretty much seal your fate… unless you end up getting impregnated with a higher class, the child and your genes would have better standings in life…” another sweet voice chime
“But elder sister declined the vassal of lord Urakto and wounded herself down there which caused the villagers to turn against us.” a young voice said.
As Zhang Shan started to regain conciousness he heard voices echoing softly in the cave. as he slowly opened his eyes and leaned forward to stand up, Titiana noticed him and called out.
“Zhang Shan it’s good that you’re awake, I thought something bad happened to you as I tried to transfer some of my knowledge.” she said in a worried tone.
“Y-yeah, no kidding… next time, please give me a heads up before doing the “kissing thing” I thought my head was going to burst open.” he answered groggily
“Zhang Shan, I’d like you to meet Carnalia and her younger brother Caron.” Titiana introduced the two.
“Thank you for saving us.” Carnalia bowed while in her kneeling position
The three were seated around the camp fire chatting as Zhang Shan fully regained his conciousness. He noticed that the rodent has already turned to bones wuthout even bits of meat left. It was a good thing he wasn’t that much hungry as he could just hunt later.
After a while, Zhang Shan was filled in by Titiana regarding what Carnalia had told her. They were both orphans who used to be the daughter and son of the village head.
Unfortunately, when the Baron Urakto expanded his territory their parents declined to submit, this ended their lives in a brutal public killing, their daughter and son on the other hand was spared due to the Vassal Ebraska.
Ebraska has taken a liking to Carnalia after learning that she was still pure, asked for her, which the Baron readily agreed to. Before they were about to leave the village, Carnalia was able to escape her confines and steal a knife. It became a stand off as she held the knife in her throat as she asked the Baron and Vassal to let them go.
She was unwilling to be taken in by the murderer of her parents but couldn’t bear to kill herself because of her younger sibling. Unfortunately, she didn’t think things thoroughly as her mind was messed up with emotions.
As the men with the Baron and his Vassal had taken Caron as hostage, instead of killing herself, she inserted the knife in her flower as a gamble ruining her purity. Seeing that his treasure had turn to waste, the Vassal slapped Carnalia, took the knife and ordered the men to tie her to the wooden post.
Before he left with the baron, he ordered the villagers not to provide any assistance or they will all die, he wanted everyone to know how they would end up if they intend to rebel. Killing her and her brother would not do any good as it will just instill fear, what he wanted would be to educate the populace that death is a swift escape in comparison to the slow and agonizing ordeal they would experience before death.
As Caron was released, she tried to untie and release her sister but some of the villagers beat him up while the others tried to stone him to death. Some of the elderly demons of the village stopped these men and they ultimately listened. The rest was how they got found by the two.
When Zhang Shan asked about their wounds, Titiana proudly stated that she healed them using her skill “Maternal Instincts”. She said that the skill is more of a passive one and it triggered automatically when she tried to dress up their wounds.
After a while, Titiana and Carnalia kept talking about different details about the demon race as Caron listened. Zhang Shan on the other hand, went to a corner of the cave and tried to sort all the information that went to his head and checked his interface.

After looking at his interface more thoroughly Zhan Shan exclaimed in surprise.
“F*ck, I’m too Over Powered… I feel like a moving cheat…” than he rembered Titiana and her pregnancy.
“Damn, am I supposed to breed overpowered demons?”
After composing himself, Zhang Shan joined in with the others discussion to learn more about the demons and world, and midnight came, everyone started to fall asleep as the cinders and ash of the camp fire started to dim.
Since they were deep inside the cave there was limited light, however it wasn’t really a problem for Titiana and Zhang Shan. Unlike Carnalia and Caron, they didn’t have this ability.
Zhang Shan went to sleep with Titiana at her left side, but after a while was woken up by minute movements near him. As it was clear as day he saw Carnalia crawling and feeling her surroundings in the dark, this made Zhang Shan snicker silently, as it looked funny.
However that came to pass quickly as he noticed that Carnalia was making her way to his right side. As Carnalia touched his feet, she slowly felt her way up to Zhang Shans face and whispered to his ear.
“My Royal Lord, forgive my insolence… I beg of you to grant me my vengeance…” as she said this her eyes started to tear up.
Zhang Shan saw this and wiped away her tears as he smiled and whispered back “You’re not at fault, I’ll do what I can in order to help you and your brother, I’ll ask Titiana later to see what we can do to help.”
Without Zhang Shan noticing a voice from his left side started to speak.
“She’s asking you now since the little boy has already fallen asleep, we talked about this earlier when you were unconscious” Titiana whispered, it was unknown when she started to wake up.
“What do you mean?” she asked Titiana
Titiana answered “As a True Royal
for visiting.
Blood demon, you can grant her power.”
“What! H-how?” Zhang Shan was surprised
This time it was Carnalia who answered as she blushed while she slowly crept her left hand to Zhang Shan’s lower body
“M-my lord… G-grant me y-your seed…”
